You should read about this guy who tracked school shootings across the states and when he masturbated. He found that there were more school shootings than times he masturbated. It helps to put things into perspective.

Tyler, the gun laws in the United States are ridiculous! A person can get a gun at the age of 18 but can't buy a beer, pack of cigarettes or see an R rated movie. School shootings happen in small towns too. Uvalde is barely over 15,000. I don't think the founding fathers had your current gun culture in mind when the Constitution was written. Look up Japan's gun laws. That's the model all countries should follow.

To be fair, most of what we in Canada know of the US is through news and US entertainment. The picture I have of the US is of a life lived on edge and in fear. That said, I've seen You Tube/TikTok posts asking Americans living abroad what they found different. Many of expressed that they weren't as stressed because they weren't afraid.

Props Tyler you took that well. I lived in the states for over 10 years. CT, MA, NY, IN. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Every place has faults if you look hard enough but you wont find more generous people than in America.\nCanada is my home and I love the culture and the people but I found Americans are just as nice and kind.\nIf you haven't lived there you can only judge by what you know. As for me I lived and traveled there since I was 20. In various States.\nIf you haven't been endeared to the Americans while living there you haven't been around the right people. If you are having a rough day there will always be friends who have your back.\nI'm moving back to the States next year after 10 years back in Canada.

I've been to 15 countries and out of all the hotels and stuff I've stayed in I've left things laying around like some money, wedding ring and never had a problem even in very poor countries.\n\n Except in one country where I left my wedding ring laying on the nightstand by the bed like I always do all over the world, and guess which country I had my wedding ring stolen out of all of them? It was in Canada where a maid came in and stole my fucking wedding ring. So now I don't have my wedding ring that I' had for 10 years because I made the mistake of going to Canada to see the Niagara falls.\n\n This was not in a fleabag hotel either it was the Hilton which was a very nice but overpriced place with no parking. I have no desire to ever go back to Canada again. If you do go to Canada hide your jewelry because the maids there will steal your stuff. Seriously I've been in Cuba, Dominican Republic and Jamaica and they respected my property and didn't steal it. Canada they will steal your jewelry. \n\nThe only good thing about Canada is the weed stores. That's it I found nothing else, no other redeeming qualities of that godforsaken place. Been to USA several times. NYC,Florida,Boston, Virginia (includingDC) Houston, Michigan and LA. Never really had a bad experience except at 6 Flags in Springfield. The teens would walk 6 or 7 abreast and literally run you down. I finally said to my wife we need to stop thinking like Canadians and stand our ground . It worked. My son was 17 at the time and at the end night show was amazed by the rabid cheering as all the branches of the military were named. We always carried extra insurance. Overall We found the people to be really friendly and interested in where we were from. The comment on Nova Scotia was usually “oh wow”. Not sure if they thought we were from the ends of the earth or had no Idea where it was. No i would not live there but the USA is full-of really nice people and it’s a great place to visit.

Tyler's right about small-town America. I was driving my family to an international soccer tournament when the van broke down. A kind American stopped, found a tow rope in his truck, and towed us to the nearest town --- Drayton, North Dakota. \n\nThe town was so stereotypical, it was almost comical. It's definitely a different culture. There was the guy dressed head-to-toe in camouflage, with a bright orange hunter's vest. There was a carload of kids driving a hot rod up and down the main street, back and forth, back and forth, with no particular place to go.\n\nBut then there were two very kind gentlemen who came up to us, concerned about our wellbeing and where my family would sleep that night, because the motel was filling-up fast with competitors for the Drayton Catfish Capital Challenge Catfish Tournament (it's a real thing, look it up). Nobody prompted them. They had no ulterior motive. They were just genuinely concerned for us.\n\nMy lasting impression of the townspeople I'd met in Drayton that day was how nice they all were. They were kind and friendly and genuinely caring toward others, going out of their way to help us any way they could.

There have been 23 school shootings (K to 12) resulting in injury or death this year alone in the U.S.. There have been 167 school shootings resulting in injury or death since 2018. I think the reluctance of most Canadians to move to the U.S. in the face of such statistics is well founded. This feeling is reinforced by the knowledge that the US government and a large portion of American citizens prefer to do nothing about it. The price of being an American? No thanks. Too high for us.

I’m Puerto Rican, and don’t like or dislike Mexicans, don’t really see much in common other than Spain’s relation to both them and us. I use to think why Mexicans are crossing over, into the USA, but went to the books and found that technically Mexicans have more right to the land in the east of the US, and some even south than white anglo Americans, Why? I’ll be quick. Even though Mexico sold land to the US to make the US like Arizona California, Texas and such, the US stole further more land than they bought from Mexico. Further more Anglos took over natives lands and gave them loop concentrations. Mexicans are native to those lands also.So conquest and expansion from Anglos took their lands. So if you want to go to the books and be politically correct, Mexicans have more right to those lands than Anglos. Think of it like a native population going back to their lands they are same.

The IRPA has clearly mentioned that if you submit the application through a third party, then you as a sole applicant is responsible for the accuracy of all the information and documents. If you are found to have misrepresented any information before or after the application has been evaluated, you either are denied entry to Canada or deported. These students deserve the deportation.

Hello black women living in Leduc Alberta for over 20 year's . I'm from Toronto born in Jamaica . Now look nowhere is perfect there is racism everywhere, i found more in Toronto then Alberta. In Alberta the most problems i have is with dating but work wise i don't get the racism, its opposite. I get jobs because of my skin. I haven't been called the N word in Alberta to my face anyways and in Toronto too many times to count. I personally love Alberta and will probably retire here. I treat everyone i meet with respect and I've been given the same. I really wish that everyone could just get along and stop with the colors of skin BS and just be kind to each other.

Yaknow, as a Mexican who's great grandmother came here legally ive always found it odd.. here in America, there isn't allowed to be any places with a specific culture or identity. For example, look at Mexico itself. If you live in Mexico, you are mexican. You'll act mexican regardless. And outside people look at this, and say it's good.. then you get to America, and you have Americans asking foreigners and people attempting to come to THEIR land for better opportunities and all they ask is to follow their customs, cultures, and laws. I've personally watched over the past 20 years all of that get destroyed. From top to bottom the customs, cultures, and laws of this land are being broken to attempt to coddle to those literally fleeing their lands. It drives me insane. This doesn't move me with sympathy, it moves anger in me. My family and I were homeless in the U.S. all because I decided to further my education with a school who claimed to be accredited and all this stuff but quickly found out it all was a sham....so in not securing my deposit on a new place or being financially able to fight an eviction were the property basically got paid twice for bs they didn't handle...all because the irs took my income tax which I was depending on being I just started a new job and had 3 weeks before my first paycheck...we were on the street....everywhere I turned was a wait-list and no one I mean no entity would help us..... claiming lack of funding or some proof of homelessness other than papers proving your eviction....just so many ridiculous things....it took us a while to get off the streets and this is kids born on this soil....with a citizen who never been in trouble with the law, 3.8 gpa, educated and motivated and employed.....on the street and although now we have a roof as U.S. CITIZENS still struggling to find our footing....and STILL NO HELP...NOT A FOOD STAMP NOTHING and the lights are out due to the landlord....soooo I'm not sympathetic of these people....I struggled and still struggling in MY OWN COUNTRY WITH NO HELP FROM MY COUNTRY....GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND FIGURE IT OUT.....
