I am a third (if not more) generation Ontario resident. I’m almost thirty and I have little to show for it. No, I haven’t always made the best decisions, but even friends of mine who have are in no better shape. You can have one thing in life; choose kids, career, or house. You cannot have it all without running yourself into the ground. As much as I don’t want to leave everyone I know, I can see no desirable future here. It will be more of the same; work and go home to dream. I don’t plan on leaving the country, but I’ve just about resigned myself to the reality that I can’t stay here.

Does she really believe that they're just going to deport illegals and what about people that were born here but their parents came here illegally and they've never even set foot in another country? Saddest part of this is that most of what they’ve been told about immigration is either straight out lies or deeply embellished. If they feel they are making a valuable contribution then why don’t they think new immigrants will? They seem happy to accept the lies about how dangerous their kinfolk are.

They didnt count on the amount of democrat voters in 2020 to open their eyes and switch to republican because it's obvious the country was turning into absolute garbage. People should be thanking their Almighty God that Kamala didnt win. Trust me when I say that. There would never have been another real election if they had 4 more years. How do the people supposedly walking for miles through Mexico and other countries manage to stay so clean? Their clothes don’t have dirty spots or any sign of wear and tear. My grandchildren are dirtier than most illegals I’ve seen in videos after being outside on a weekend day.

I was not far from where the Mexican National Mass Shooter killed 5 of his neighbors here in Texas last year, he was previously deported 4 times and had come right back again, his wife was here illegally his best friend who tried to hide him from authorities was here illegally and 4 out of 5 of his victims were ALSO here illegally and you just cannot make this stuff up people! We have a problem in this country and it's not necessarily rooted in racism... who's fault is it that the vast majority of people in this country are of Hispanic ethnicity? It sure ain't my fault, I'm just against letting people who enter or are otherwise in my country illegally stay and I don't much care who they look like or where they came from!

The goal should’ve been to never have voted for Trump and now it’s to be how to have him deported from this country.

When they say 15 million, they mean the 11 undocumented workers and the 4 million American citizens whose parents are in the later category. They’ve said they want to deport American citizens and stripe naturalized citizens of their citizenship. Also, don’t forget Trump promised to deport all Haitian immigrants, Ukrainians, and Afghanis under TPS. Vance especially hates the Afghans even though they helped us for 20 years when we occupied their country and would be died because they helped our troop. But no. Screw them.

Canadians complain because they've only seen good throughout their lives. I, as an immigrant, appreciate everything this country has given me and truly love Canada from the bottom of my heart. Travelling to a country and living + working in the same country are 2 very different experiences. My friends, family, and colleagues based in the UK, Spain, US, Australia, and Dubai all have been complaining about things very similar to what you're complaining about. It's not a Canada issue, COVID unfortunately screwed up the whole world.

Sorry but all my life (60 years) illegal immigrants were always deported..I’ve seen it happen in the 70s,80s,90s,00s,10s..I’m Irish and I know at least 12 people who were deported (my brother was prevented from entering the USA in the 80s…US immigration authorities have always been active..

It's time for Canada to wall off the border, our health system is backed up, funding is lacking, jobs are scarce even if you want to work, our youth cannot find the jobs they seek; we've done our part and let enough in already. I say put them on a plane and send them back to where they came from. It's time for those countries to fix their own problems!!!

The problem with many countries is that immigration cannot simply be used as a fix for economic issues. Behind immigration are living, breathing people, not objects to solve problems temporarily. When economies are struggling, these individuals are invited to help rebuild and strengthen the system, often sacrificing a great deal to do so. However, once the situation improves, expecting them to leave behind everything they’ve built and return is unfair. They left their homes, worked hard, and contributed significantly — they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, not as disposable solutions.

Another topic that most Americans are clueless about. Well, here's some info that I'm sure you don't know. My ex-husband was from Central Ameri, a and I've known hindreds of people who have come here illegally throughout the years and NEVER until this past year have I known of anyone being deported without a court date first. Well, an ex family memeber of mine got caught at the border twice (once in 2023 and once in 2024) and was deported twice with NO COURT DATE! So, whatever people THINK is going on, they're wrong. But hey, if Trump says it, it MUST be true! ?

There is nothing illegal about a precious 5 year old child brought to and raised in this beautiful country. Deporting kids who’ve grown up here, who know nothing but America, just because their parents didn’t file the right paperwork? This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.

I voted for Harris and despise Trump, however, I'm hoping Repubs do exactly what they've been wanting to do for YEARS, which is to finish their fence/wall along the ENTIRE border, deport ALL illegal/undocumented migrants, many of them Trump supporters, and shut about the stupid border already!! They didn't when Mexico didn't pay for the wall and his inept handling of the Covid pandemic where, according to the Lancet Commission ~ 40 % of the Covid deaths (which were a few hundred thousand of their fellow citizens) could've been avoided. Have the voters already forgotten? The whole world watched (and laughed) when he suggested to the doctors to inject bleach into the human bodies to fight covid. I’ve been thinking about moving to Canada for years. There are many advantages and disadvantages to America and Canada. I just want to make sure it’s not a ‘ The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence’ situation and then find out a ‘ I never thought of that’ situation.

I think he should’ve replaced Biden not Harris but maybe he didn’t want to do it. I think he would’ve embarrassed Trump in any debate even worse than Harris did.
