Typical Americans and Trump. Sign a free trade agreement and then when you feel like it just violate it for your own interest. They only play by their own rules. If Canada violated the agreement they would all over it. A while back they tried to nail Canada with 4 billion in softwood lumber tariffs in that they claimed Canada violated the free trade agreement, which they did not. The arbitrary trade council which oversees both countries ordered the USA to pay back Canada the 4 billion. The USA never did. Trump claims Canada treats them unfairly yet they are the ones who violate the agreements. They are the poor trading partner. Canada should trim the exports to the USA significantly and find alternatives. Just cut out the corrupt Americans led by a convicted criminal.

Way to go Canada, USA business will just stop shipping to you and what are you going to do without USA goods and services?

This will bring Canada closer to Asia. Who has the most products with the lowest cost and who needs energy more the US does?

Perhaps we might do a little head hunting south of the border as the removal of transgender DEI (woman) pilots( jet trained) in military already trained seasoned and having see combat in many cases would be an amazing addition to encourage even more woman here to enlist in our Military as a life career! If you have insurance in the US are you 100% covered for doctor visits, surgeries, hospital stays and medical tests? In Canada we are covered for all these things and there’s no bill after we receive these services. A family of 4 pays about $17000 a year in taxes to cover these things. This would be about $12000 USD. A family of 4 in the US pays about $24000 per year in insurance and still have to pay for services. I think we have the better deal.
