I am Canadian and I work in an area with a lot of foreign student labour. This is an accurate summary of the situation. I have some college education, and I noticed many Indian students are going to private colleges a distance away. I believe the colleges aren't properly vetting these students in order to allow more in and collect more money from them. International students pay more to go to school in Canada. These young people unfamiliar with a western education system don't understand things aren't being done properly, but the bad reputation of these schools gets around and these students credentials are worthless. It's sad considering families frequently go into debt to send their kids to Canada. Mass Immigration is ruining housing in Canada because not enough building happend to house the sudden population increase. Canadians access to services such as health care is hindered by the population iincrease. Something as simple as the common language spoken in the country has changed. It is true if the goverment changes the people in the country the goverment has changed the country.

Simple, stop granting visa to immigrant who has salary below 80k, stop granting visa to people who's here to serve you coffee with their master degrees.

Glad I came across this vid. I'm a PhD candidate and I've decided to go back home when I finish. I'm really appalled at the state of healthcare here. I had to literally beg a doctor for a blood test, something that is so simple to get at home. I have never been so depressed and off balance and I think a lot of it has to do with the weather. I really thought I would like it here, but it's not worth being away from my family for a place like Canada.

Canada is not produce enough babies to pay taxes and that's why we need immigration. Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Its purely logical. \nIf you do not want more Indians, you limit the number of Indians coming to Canada. Its simple. Hating them for who they are doesn't help. And same goes for the foreigners - In Rome, do what the romans do. Leave your ways at the door, relearn, adopt and adapt, else you will have the likes of Faulkner make you hate him for pointing the difference. Btw, he also forgets a few generations back his family was an immigrant too, who murdered the First Nations of this country. That area near Sheridan college is a nightmare. I used to live right behind the college. We are being taken advantage of plain and simple. I was born in Brampton and it does not feel like it did when I was growing up. Houses with 30 people in them is all too common in Brampton.

Its a simple thing. Folks are trying to leave for a better life, they then got to know about Canada giving 3years postgraduate work permit to international students who studied for two years and, there are permanent residence programs you qualify and can apply for after getting one year Canadian work experience. This is what encouraged many international students to head in this direction. Unfortunately, half of about 800,000 international students admitted to Canada came from India (if i'm not mistaken), many of them had to borrow the money to pay fees or their family sold their ancestral land or used it borrow money with the hope that when their child who they sponsored with the money is done, he/she will be the family's hope to not only pay back, but help them relocate too. However, the picture is not looking like it anymore as the demand for jobs surged and many are not able to get jobs or can't find the kind of jobs that can make them get PR and, their current work permit is about to expire, which means they may be faced with going back home with nothing so, they are pulling every string they can to stay back because, returning will mean they are a failure and can even cause their family a lot of emotional damage. Infact, i have heard of some of them who committed suicide as they are not meeting up and are not ready to go and face the shame back home. So, what you are seeing is the definition of desperation!

As a former international student, the answer is simple. Being here is a privilege not a right. When we signed our documents for entry into this Country we agreed to follow it's laws. The fine print was very clear.

This is plain and simple. There are not enough places for rent. For both Canadians and a never ending population growth from outside canada that outpaces building. \nIn three months they cannot and will never be enough places built for rent to justify bringing over 430 000 people.\nSo based on that alone those newcomers will be taking a place for rent away from a Canadian citizen. It's not racism, it's not discrimination. It's fact.\nCanadian citizens or any citizen of any country should not have to struggle to find a place to live and be able to afford a place to live because the governemt increases the population from outside faster than they can build. It's irresponsible, selfish, and outright wrong.\nIts not the politicians who are suffering or the businesses who will never make enough profit(look at the grocery sector.) it is the people within Canada.\nI am not against immigration. I am against the amount until infrastructure can keep up with the influx of new people. And even then it cannot be a one for one. It should be at least 2 to 1 and new growth. Anything more than that and the cost of housing will outpace inflation.\nPlus senior citizens(who helped build this country) , veterans, people on disability, and mental health/addicts recovering, deserve the increased financial help instead of the money that is sent to other countries..
