Tim hortons is all over in the U.S. and for some reason my sons new girl friend from Canada had to come here to become an eye doctor Weird. Student visa I guess. I don't really understand one of experiences during my visit in Canada, I am a HongKonger and one time when I was visiting Toronto, some people with different ethnic background made a comment on my English, they said my English was good. But the fact that there are tons of Chinese/Hong Kong looking people living Toronto who speak perfect English or better than me. I really don't get this, those people who made comment are Indian, Russian, even Canadian born Chinese, they didn't even know I was just a visitor. I don't know much about the standard/definition of racism in Canada, is this incidence considered some kind of racism/stereotype? I am humbly asking for your perspectives on this.

To me the biggest problem of people of African origin is not racism. Infact if you called a child who knows colours very well and ask that child to mention the skin colours of that panel there will be brown, pink and barge. Back to my point, people of African origin have failed to be honest with themselves thats the biggest problem. The biggest problem to solve is the family problem. African men and women majority have failed to raise up responsible children because half of the time they are absent from home. Don't tell me they are absent because they have to look for money to feed children. Let us tell our children to stay away from gangs, be at home latest by 6 pm, start recording high grades at school meaning they will be spending much time with books, wait to have sex until they are legally married, start opening businesses and build corporations like Indians and Chinese do. Then this racism issue will just disappear on its own. As long as people of African origin continue to possess the mentality that other races owe them a good life, the problem of racism won't end. I live in Africa and am an African but I see my brothers and sisters North America or Europe majority live very careless lives. Yesterday I was listening to BBC news a chief police officer of African Origin saying on average there were about 65,000 murders within the African Americans community annually. Where is racism in all this. Can't we be ashamed of ourselves. When last did you hear of such statistics in Asian communities in America or Europe. I agreed with Prime Minister about systematic racism but in my view thats not a priority for the African communities. Number 1 is raise responsible children and not weapon fleaks. Number 2 raise responsible children. Number 3 raise a responsible family then we can sincerely address this racism issue because if there are no trouble makers from our homes but only graduates, business owners, responsible youths who do not abuse substances then if we are treated unfairly it can be vividly seen that someone is discriminating against our race.

While the Muslim thing might make some people feel bad an let me say this by no means, I'm I taking up for what these people said. Jesus said live even our enemies an that's what I am going to do \n\nWhile I do not agree with what they said. Their is one thing for sure. When something happens you don't hear muslims coming out condemning what has happened that much. An people are angry at what some do \n\nWhen you don't see any one coming out to call out people for what they have done or saying anything at all. Mostly what you see is people clapping a cheering. Pretty good, I grew up in Canada for 40 years, I’ve been in the US for 11. You pretty much nailed it.

Due to too many unhappy citizens of many lands, most productive, constructive countries are over- flooding with other nations peoples. It’s too much. When a person goes somewhere other than their own land less and less of these countries are willing to allow any more refugees in their country. Why because it’s about economics. In economic in an economy all things must be paid for. This is an Democratic society, almost all things are available through businesses. The medium of exchange for all ‘goods and services ‘ are conducted through the means of money. The masses of our nations people are not wealthy. Which most indulge themselves in employment. Employment in exchange for hours of pay we get paid.!The person most quailed to be employed are the citizens of these nations and not other nations people. What I am saying is that each land is more interested in their own home grown employee. So when you the non resident come without our permission you are the one placing yourself and your family in peril. Which means you are responsible for the pain and losses you suffer do to you either misunderstandings or non-available knowledge. Work towards asking for a better government for your own home land. And less people will be disappointed when you are rejected from lands who are already too filled !

I'm a white guy who lived in another country that wasn't a white majority country. There is discrimination in western countries, but there are ways to deal with it. The discrimination I had to deal with every day was much more than this, but nobody wants to know about that. The way I lived for those several years was to realize that I was different and I just had to maximize dealing with good people and when I knew that I would have to deal with something like having to get an apartment, I took that countries national with me knowing I would get a better deal. I was grabbed by officers at night and threatened. basically whatever is faced here, I had on a regular basis. At first, it pissed me off, but later, I came up with a way to maximize my life to get the best treatment I could. I didn't think I would be coming back to America, but eventually, I came back for more schooling and ended up staying.

The UK is worse than this. Illegal imigrants get money, free housing, mobile phones, cars, tv's, white goods, cloathes, shoes, lawyers, NHS placement, holidays, education and much, much more free stuff. UK citizens are sick of paying for foreign scroungers. Our OAOP's can't get winter heating allowances or a rise in pension rates. Diabetics can't get free chiropody now. RN's work for peanuts and take 2nd jobs to pay bills.

Living in Canada for almost 3 decades, feel pretty safe & understand ppl in the street. But this few yrs, crime rate jump so much & I do not understand many ppl on the street. They not speak English. Canada is turning into a place very different nowadays. If I have enough money, I will leave . Poland seems a good place to migrate?

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It makes no sense to wear nakaabs and burkha in western countries. You want to follow the traditions of the religion and on the other side you are fond of living in European countries. Your desire to move to European countries, vividly clears the picture that you are not interested to live in your own country, where all people are Muslims. If Islam is that much good, then there is no need to leave your own countries. Stop doing. You are finding satisfaction in European countries and having their traditions and customs. People living in European countries are not like the people living Middle East. If you feel so much offended there, then go back to your own countries. Go back and you will find your religion and your own mates.

The canadians are as cold as their weather...poor guy got rejected after such a DUMB MOVE .Generally speaking living in the US is way easier than in Canada ,where you have to be a genius (overqualified) to get almost any decent job.Not to mention the brutal winters (except vancouver) Only 2 good things about canada : it's healthcare and safety . Much easier to have a comfortable life in the US despite being undocumented .You just have to keep a low profile and be a law abiding citizen.The american economy is simply the BIGGEST in the planet .So many businesses : someone will give you a chance ...as simply as that !

The thing is, Mexico is not in conflict for its people to seek asylum somewhere else. It is not good to just jump ship to any country and fight whoever so that you stay there. You struggled. You spent so much money on lawyers, when immigration laws don't approve of anyone going into US illegally and then file asylum. Sorry but the immigration lawyers just took your money and pretend to help you and that there are solutions. If a US citizen jumps ship to your country, would you declare that his presence there is illegal? US, Canada or any country wouldn't want that. USA is not as easy as they think to be honest i have done so much more in mexico and it feels so good to be able to move free.

Most of these comments are disgusting! He went into Canada to seek asylum because he knew that he wouldn't be granted asylum with Trump in office in the USA. 10 years for only 86% of people to start contributing and/or speak the language... That is not a good thing. You had to go back to the 70's to find a success story too? What does that say about the current situation? Asian Canadians tend to assimilate much better than other groups and it took a group of them a long time to do partially do so. Why don't all these Latin American asylum seekers go to places like Belize, Costa Rica, Panama? The economies and lower crime rates in these countries are good enough to attract many expats from Europe and the United States. Surely for someone seeking asylum they should be okay - and not too far to travel to get there. Plus, they already speak the language! I’m not Canadian, so I don’t have as much of an understanding of their process; however, much like in the U.S., you have to have a legitimate and compelling reason to seek asylum, for example, those escaping a literal war in Syria where death was imminent. Not that I don’t have compassion for this man wanting to better his life and that of his family, but seeking asylum from El Salvador because they have a lackluster economy, crime and violence (while a good enough reason to relocate elsewhere) isn’t a case for asylum. *shrug* Asylum is meant for exigencies, emergencies, imminent danger, which doesn’t look like it applies here. My guess is this man thought seeking asylum would be a way to go around needing expensive documents to do a standard immigration and the process flopped on him.
