I feel sorry for the struggles they face in their home countries…but no. We need to get ourselves together first. They know damn well they shouldn’t be doing that.

Maybe if DC wouldn't bankrupt their home countries they wouldn't have to flee to survive. \n\nWe owe them at this point. Yes, we OWE them. Look at the last 50 years of economic treatment of MX and central America. It's caused mass poverty and lack. In order to survive, many had no choice but to leave. But where do they go? Some go to Mexico, but most want to come to US for work, and why shouldn't they????\n\nIf the feds didn't loot their home countries for the giant multinationals and keep overthrowing their domestic national govts thus causing mass destabilization, they wouldn't be here. \n\nOh yeah our govt OWES THESE PEOPLE BIG-TIME. Instead of treating them like animals they should be flinging open the gates and admitting them and granting them an accelerated path to citizenship.\n\nEdit: and besides these people are coming to work they're not asking for handouts. I'm all for providing some necessary basic assistance but trust me when I say, these people just want jobs they can support their families on.

This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. We don’t need all these illegals flooding over.\nThis is all Joe Biden and the Democrats’ fault, for not doing anything for two-plus years, except inviting these people to come here. These people get benefits, free healthcare, welfare probably, phones, and they shouldn’t. They should be told to go home. They should not be given a court date and then released into the United States! That’s ridiculous. They should be loaded on a C-130 transport, retrofitted with seats and shipped home. The majority of them are not going to show up for their court date. They’re going to disappear into the United States, work under the table, take jobs away from Americans, and send billions of more dollars back to their home country where they have family. I think currently, $250 billion gets sucked out of the US economy every year, due to illegal immigrants all sending $50 each, per month, home to their families in their native country. That money should be being spent here.\nLastly, all these illegals and the “anchor babies” they are going to have here, and the descendants of those babies, are all going to vote Democrat in the future, because of this lawlessness. Then we’ll have one-party rule in this country. That will destroy the country. It’ll be a socialist dictatorship, which is not good. The worst part is, many of these women coming across, are going to have a baby within a year. That baby, who by law is automatically a US citizen, becomes their key to citizenship, because once that baby turns 18, he or she can sponsor his parents to become citizens and also sponsor other family members. It’s not right. That amendment to our Constitution, was meant for descendants of slaves to become citizens, NOT to be used the way it’s being used today.\nAnd if we’re not careful we will all be speaking Spanish in the future.\n\nVOTE REPUBLICAN! It’s this country’s only chance and DEFINITELY vote for Trump in 2024. He’ll fix this mess…

This is a major problem. This shouldn’t be happening. What’s so dam wrong with their own country that they have to rush in to this one like that. America needs to hold their own government accountable. Sanction them. Cut off aid from them. Instead of pushing gay rights and lgbtq into other countries. Stop these immigrants from rushing into this country making it much worse for the Americans already here and born here. This has to stop and there need to be a strict policy in place to make illegal entry here a violation with immediate consequences of return back to where you came from. We have to many issues to deal with here

We should teach them how to build and sustain their land. \nAfter all we have the same resources. The politicians need to fix this by helping the people get what they need for themselves and their families. This shouldn’t be hard, traumatic or torturous for these beautiful people.

I know there’s people that need help but this just isn’t how it’s done. There’s a process and a reason for it. If your very first act is to break laws, you shouldn’t be here. I can't believe we're taking in Asylum seekers from the US are you kidding me? This Country is a mess it's lowest but our Government just keeps sticking us with paying for anyone wanting into Canada. We shouldn't have any homeless vets & why does Canada think we can afford more people? Our small house we worked for & had 2 children in won't be able to keep it because the cost of living & taxes keep going up. Hours being cut & not enough money to put away. Building supplies doubled after the pandemic. I can't find the medical help I need. God help us as our Government isn't going too. No more people we should start a movement like the truckers that took over our City last year.

This is sadly the right decision. Asylum is a special status reserved for people in imminent danger, it shouldn't be confused with economic migration. The folks crossing through the US are already in a safe country, relatively speaking. We let in a million people legally last year and most end up in major cities that lack the infrastructure to fully support them and creates undue hardship for already struggling Canadians. We are a generous nation but migration has to be balanced with affordability and opportunity for locals. This is all absurd based on outdated models of economic growth. Tax the damn billionaires that hide money offshore and build capacity for all then we can help those in danger more but we have such issues with poverty, healthcare, education, roads,food affordability and a housing crisis. Time people put Canadians interests first.

Canadian judiciary system is a world laughing stocks. Criminals have better protections than normal citizens. The Trudeau Liberals need to be removed from governing Canada. All people living in countries with nationalized health want to continue the lie that it actually offers quality service. There is so much proof everywhere that this is not true. Canada is a perfect example.\n\nAs someone who worked for the largest hospital chain I can tell you that 30% of our revenue at hospitals we owned along the US northern border came from Canadian citizens. It kind of makes you wonder, if Canadians get amazing high quality free healthcare, why would they drive to another country to pay for it? \n\nThe truth is anybody in the countries that have socialized medicine that can afford to, ops for private care. That is a fact worldwide that nobody likes to admit. Long waits to get treatment. Long lines once you get to the facility.
