As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

After few days, ‘Hey dude! We think we could trade and do business’. The natives as usual, without knowing the real intention, agreed to them with goodwill and great heart. A few more days later, ‘hey dude! You guys or not competent enough to govern your self. So we will take the charge moving forward’. The natives were astounded with these actions. \n\nWhat happened next was the darkest periods in the history.\n\nPart 3: My king!! Mission success!! There you go with ships full of different form of wealth, materials, valuables, spices, and most importantly hard working men as slaves & women for our ***** needs. Those who turn against are imprisoned, beaten, tortured and killed for fun as they can never become the wealth. \n« « \n\nThis went on for centuries until the colonizers extracted till the last drop of the wealth. And, guess what, they didn’t want the natives to live in peace. So they made sure to land mine enough troubles to ensure that the natives live in hell for the rest of their generations and always be a third world nation.\n\nWhat else they did… \nWhich religion do you practice you brown rubbish… ‘we follow …. ‘ no no no, you are going to follow this *** moving forward.\nWhich language do you speak… ‘we speak ….’ No no no, moving forward you will speak E****, S*****, P*****, F*****. And for every other things.\n\nUnfortunately, what the colonizers didn’t foresee is that someday, the same natives would overcome all the hurdles with their hard work and determination to overshadow the colonial past, and to succeed past the so called colonizers.\n\nIf the Brits hadn’t colonized India, probably Indians wouldn’t be immigrating to Western English speaking nations. Most likely they wouldn’t have learned English. Oh wait, if they haven’t colonized any part of the world, we wouldn’t have seen these English speaking western countries and have no problem with the immigration issues. \n\nCan we change the past??? Unfortunately, nope! But karma always kicks back in. What was done in the past, comes back 10 folds in the future.\n\nLast thing I want to say is that I no way means to support the bad things. I believe that we are all humans, not that being white is a privilege and being black as underprivileged, undermined,………It was funny to see in the video that people still differentiate and being proud for being white. Being a brown person is in fact a good thing medically. \n\nWe all need to find means to live in harmony and not create nuisance or bother others, be it an immigrant, outsider, natives, local, westerners…..\n\nLet’s make the world a better place to live in peace and harmony. Only some braindead person would think that students are coming to Canada just to study and go back. Canadian education is worthless as it is.everyone in the world knows it. Most of them are coming to get hold of work permit, float fake resumes in IT field, displace high paying Canadian jobs. Most people working in high positions and hig paying jobs in software testing field of IT have entered and settled his way.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

you know, I have worked with temps in BC for over four years. They come in/phone in and ask for temp work, but here is the thing,....they don't want to do construction work. they want a company to oblige their school schedules, warehouse, forklifting only at 25 to 30 an hour. Its a scam to get PR.....they are not citizens, they are visitors. Ever single one of these students I've met ALL of THEM feel they're entitled to the same right and privileges as Canadian born citizens. Its just twisted. \nOur government is being played HARD.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

Canada is a corporation and I guess the more immigrants WE have then the GDP looks better. I am a Canadian and my mother was born here and my grandmother came to Canada in 1907 from the USA when she was 7 years old. I was born in the 1940s and brought up in rural surroundings. Back then We had traditional beliefs and I had farming background. Connection of relatives and helping our neighbours were how We lived. I became a schoolteacher. I saw that in 1954 when I went to school that learning was not natural and it was fear based. Then I completed a dip. of ed psy and then I decided that if I ever wanted to help change the system that I would require at least an m. ed. - leadership. I knew the university I went to would not be able to say no to me when I applied to get into this program. However, I was too much of an negative influence on the younger students and had to finish the last couple of classes at home and which I did. Today, the families have been divided, people do not connect or communicate properly and I have to question what living skills did I learn? Instead, my head was filled with propaganda which sadly, I've had to relearn. I say, stay in your own country and fix it there. Indian has some wonder ancient wisdoms for healing and health. The OWNERS of our nations like the banking families realize that when new immigrates come in that they assimilate more, and the older generations begin to question what THEY were taught and why. I remember when say a barn burned down or one had to be built that neighbours would help build the barn for the farmer. Then we would all celebrate and the women would get together and cook the food and we would have a barn dance. Life was simple then, but connection was authentic and we didnt lose ourselves. We must know ourselves and our history or we are lost and so many people live in chaos and ignorance. Learn to become our Divine selves. Learn to understand that WE are living in a fictional world when We are educated to be who we are not.

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... Also, these indians came legally no? In a democratic Canada that let them in... people voted for this directly or indirectly. Also, to your point, its the whites that are homeless and on drugs, how are indians to blame for white failure in Brampton? Indians have strong work and study ethic, so you should welcome that. I respect people who comes from other countries and working their ass off. Maybe too many around but at least they are hard workers .. I know for a fact that 95% of Indian and African students don’t even attend their first semester and withdraw before their tuitions are kept. They usually apply to private colleges. I work in social and community services. Many of them come with mental health illnesses and the parents pawn them off to Canada on the pretense of them going to school only to end up on social assistance because they can’t find work.

Why dont you see these type of protests by Indian students in USA. The reason being private colleges in Canada very well know that these students are not here to study. But still these colleges and Visa officers alllow them to enter this country. Twenty yrs back when I came to Canada to study, student visa criteria was very strict. U of Calagry only accepted students from IITs (premiere Indian colleges/uni). Also out of campus work wasnt allowed. Now most of students from India who come here in one building colleges are here to work. Canada should stop out of campus work and the problem will be solved.

Coast to coast it's the same story: Liberal govt let useless 'paper mill' schools (mostly run by Indian scammers) fill the country with these kids with BS sales promotion of a path to PR status (most don't need or care about becoming citizens lol). The Liberals are toying with granting them PR status, but they know this will likely cost them the election. These kids are creating housing capacity problems, creating overcrowding on transit and in healthcare. Local charities are slammed with extra mouths to feed, and grocery stores are experiencing a spike in shoplifting because these kids did not come with enough money to house and feed themselves. The student visa program has been abused by criminals of course, so there's a spike in gangster activity and even a political assassination in Surrey BC. It's a crap show and the solution is for 500,000 of them to head home ASAP. (Yes, this may create a temporary shortage of fast food workers and delivery people, but I'll take my chances.)

Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

As a conservative I can tell you that Libs Creating new vote bank. These colleges are a big scam. The students know beforehand that its a track for immigration and are promised by agents in India. They primarily come from 2 states from India. Gujrat and Punjab. This is a systematic demographic change under fhe guise of education! Send them back!

I lived in Ottawa all my life...maybe 2015, they started coming in so fast, I've never really seen so many Indians...now they're all over the place. Not saying it's a bad thing. Just what I've noticed. And lately I have been seeing them in Gatineau but knowing Quebec has new French rule, this may not want them to go live in QC. I think Vancouver has a lot of Chinese and Indians. Just the way it is. They say white people had it too easy and just demanded more from the government whereas Asians will come here for a better life, possibly doing labor work and not complain, so is this is the government is accepting of them? Having a visa does not guarantee you entry. The purpose of the visa is to give you the opportunity to knock on the door and ask for entry. Then the officer has the right to make that decision 'yea or nay'.\nAll of the information you are giving is nothing new.\nI am living here for 35 years and those questions have always been asked. My siblings have been in Canada for 60 yrs...the questions have always been the same.\nIf certain countries' natives have a high rate of illegal overstay, people coming from those countries will be thoroughly vetted.\nThey are lucky the officer let them know upfront, that illegitimate overstay means rejection for the next application. Usually they do not give that advice, and when you apply the next time after overstaying, you are rejected without explanation.\nIf you want to stay longer and you have no schisms going you apply. That's all.

I live in the UK and its a similar situation here. Buying a property (especially in the South) is so hard unless you come from money or have a really good job. \nAlso because people cant buy their own homes, landlords can charge obscene amounts for rent because they know people dont have any alternatives. Add that to the cost of living crisis and you have a lot of people feeling trapped and hopeless

Even when they get through, many would still get deported. Next year is our election year and so many are fed up with this immigration issue and may likely vote for conservatives who are much stricter when it comes to immigration. Liberals are trying to rectify these immigration catastrophe as they know they would pay the price with many MPs losing their seats due to their constituencies being overrun by asylum seekers.

I later found out that coming over as a student would be much better than just visiting but even as that I had visiting Visa already. As a Christian nation, Canada could tilt the immigration scales back into our favour by allowing in only people that are white from white European nations and the United States.\n\nHowever, Canada IS a Christian nation! holy crap. Sorry but as a Nova Scotian I have to strongly disagree . Our housing costs both renting or buying has gone crazy in the last three years . We have people living in tents even in the winter. Homelessness is in crisis. I personally have a friend in her 60s and sick and will be homeless in 3 days as she cannot find an apartment much less afford one Prices in everything has gone sky high. While salaries stay low. Every where you look now you see garbage just thrown. Last year we had devestating floods and wildfires. University students get her and cannot find housing. One international student is paying $400 a month to sleep on a hallway floor. I know housing in all our provinces is a problem. Tent cities are everywhere. People poyring in without us having the means to house them has caused terrible sufferring for all. People shoukd not come to NS at this time. Wait until there are places built to house people. Also our healrh care system is in crisis. I love my province but I dont even recognise it anymore. It is so sad what is happening here. People come here from away and some start youtube channels to tell people from their home countries Not to come here.

My husbands sister is moving with her family to Canada this year. They wanted to before covid and we tried to talk them out of it. Now they have decided to do it. Applied and got visa very quick. The older gen is left to fend for them selves, in the coming gen who will baby sit the kids, they to will get pets, it will be too expensive for them to have kids.

Most of what was reported here is true but the housing market and rents have skyrocketed all over the world since the Chinese government F'd everyone with Covid-19. At first there were supply chain issues with all goods so businesses said we have to increase prices. Once supply issues were back to pre-Covid-19 levels businesses did not & will not lower their prices on goods because , we as a society do not take matters into our own hands and boycott products\\company's etc. Now obviously we cannot boycott all goods & services but the majority we could and that is the only thing that would cause action among companies to lower bank fees, fast food prices, grocery prices, cell plan costs etc.\n\nWith that said, you picked two of the highest and most sought after city's in CAN to rent & or try to buy a home. Although rent & home prices have really jumped all over the world in the past 3-4 years, more affordable (still not cheap) housing, compared to Toronto, Vancouver, can be found all across CAN. My sister & brother in law found an apartment to rent in Winnipeg without any difficulty or waiting. \nThey are immigrants and entered on her student Visa & he is a computer programmer. They are not struggling to eat but they have to follow a tight budget since she cannot work but 20 hours a week as a student and they have 1 kid, a car payment,utilities, cell plan, etc. They have filed for their PR and I suspect they will be approved since his job is in demand and she will graduate from College there in 4 months or so.\n\nOne thing I noticed, when my wife & I went up to get them settled in, is that the government (national & local) taxes you all pay out of the wazzoo on everything! I think the only thing that wasn't taxed was air. ? I know most of this is due to the healthcare system, because the money has to come from somewhere. Don't misunderstand, I like the CAN healthcare system better than the US's, because the insurance companies stick it to us as well, but both have their pluses and minuses.\n\nCAN does have a much easier system for immigration. If my sister & bro in law could have come here we would have been glad for them to stay with us and help them get started but the backlog is just so long to wait (10 + years). I also LOVE CAN because you uphold your laws and DEPORT illegal immigrants instead of letting them pour into the Country, by the millions each year, and the majority eventually trickle into the population illegally, who get jobs & pay no taxes (other than sales tax) no driver's licenses or vehicle insurance and get 100% free medical and hospital care anytime while legal US citizen's pay high premiums, into social security and their income taxes each year.
