My friend told me Canada and its president are racist, I didn't believe and didn't do any research cause I didn't want to get into the topic

The separation but diversity is definitely on purpose ....... It's done with everything from education to resources....... They do it so well you can't see it unless you're really paying... Or do research

- No rights to own guns\n- Speech laws\n- No rights to meaningfully protest authoritarian measures (as seen when the government arrested people & froze their bank accounts)\n- MAID program (this is beyond evil. 10k people in the last year alone in a country with a fraction of the U.S's population?)\n\nJust a few examples out of the many more I could probably find with enough research. But 'muh free healthcare', right? Which isn't even that great considering the ineptitude of the whole system. When someone's trying to use your 'free healthcare' to get a wheelchair lift installed in the house, and because of the very long wait you're instead offered medically assisted suicide, you know your system is far from great.

You clearly don't know anything about canada, make that change with a research next time

Remember that there are countries providing free university education even to foreign students. More you will be paid to study there. Research. Don't believe the marketing. This country has a fabulous advertisement.

You don't know anything about Canada. Do better research next time or don't make this midwit googlefoo crap to begin with.

One thing I would add is the importance of understanding the job market and industry trends in Canada. Conducting research on the types of jobs and industries that are in demand in Canada can help you tailor your job search and increase your chances of success. Additionally, obtaining any relevant education or training, such as a Canadian degree or certification, can also make you a more competitive candidate.
\n
\nThank you again for sharing your helpful advice. I'm sure it will be invaluable to those looking to make the transition to working in Canada.

To all parents and students who are dreaming to study and live abroad please, research about college and see the credibility. Students who are coming after high school going abroad for higher studies please go after bachelor for your PG course. Even a tough guy and girl at such a tender age may not be able to take mental burden. In India we are all protected and guarded and never worked till Bachelor . Have some work experience stay away from family for at least 6 months and see if you can cope with change. This will help you to understand and learn to adjust on your own. Life is not so cheap to give away like that. Hope it helps .

RBC is one of the largest banks in the world never mind Canada. There are only two English names of six on your list. One is French one German and two Scotts. If you try to say the Scotts are close enough to be considered english then you have never known a Scott and are badly ignorant of history; they are oil and water. There are numerous other mistakes in your video which to me shows a lack of research. All your stuff sounds like what comes on the news on a slow day. Perhaps that's your source. It would explain a lot. If you really want to get information on anything stop relying on news bites and actually do the work.

Research, think and discuss with your family members living in Canada. Consider their advice. It is totally different situation that what you think it is and what your agent tells you about Canada.

Just subscribed because I had NO other chance with the super accurate information provided here ! Our politicians should look for these independent researchers to at least try to fix some of our problems! GOOD JOB ?

I disagree with both of you. You care complaining about Canada, yet you come here from another country where you don't have opportunities. I'm guessing you live in Toronto and yes it is expensive, and you haven't experienced other provinces. Toronto has a big city attitude. You are really only speaking about one city. As far as the cold weather? Don't complain about it when you're here. You should've done your research and consider how climate change is changing weather all over the world. Immigrants come to Canada and expect to get everything handed to them. Please move to another country.

You ladies are very smart and do your research. I appreciate your balanced evaluation of the advantages/disadvantages of Canada and the US.

I already paid my tuition fees and about to apply for Canadian student visa. \nhousing, employment, medical service, weather, everything seems fucked up. \nBut the more I research about Canada, the more disappointed I am.\nI don't even know if I should apply for visa anymore.
|

I feel like you focused your research on each city in particular that you talked about, and didn't include the province as a whole and didn't really mention anything significant history wise.

If you had actually lived in the USA for a while you would know that Americans don't wear shoes in bed, that's just on TV which is heavily scripted. Not all Walmarts sell guns, it depends on state laws. You'll be definitely asked for an ID when buying a gun. Of course they are a lot of loopholes like background checks delays and gun shows that are not particularly regulated. Nevertheless, now I am wondering about the seriousness and accuracy of your research on those subjects.

Thanks for this video! \nI think that one of the biggest problems is extremely high expectations before making that change. Pun intended ;) \nI've lived in three different countries and soon moving to the fourth ie. Canada. Living in different places gives a broader view on society and helps understanding that nowhere is perfect. I think that immigrants' frustration primarly comes from the fact that we do not make enough research on what to expect when moving. You should write down pros and cons on moving, make sure you understand what are the most important things for you and check if that new country provides that. Watching videos like yours is a great way to start. It really comes down to what you want from life and if you are willing to adapt to achieve it. \nOn the other hand, Canadians' frustration might come from the fact that they never lived anywhere else :)\nAs for my top three things that disapoint me the most: Healthcare, Housing, Technology.

Currently, I'm studying in Canada and this video opened my eyes to the dark side of Canadian college that I never knew about. What I can say is never let your guard down. I did the research, I picked the right college. Even in Canada, I stay alerted. Only by staying strong and resilient, the Canadian dream might come true.

the trouble with the whole western world is that no one wants to take the time to learn how the system is set up and how to protect themselves from the corruption\namong other things, we also have dark secret society members who control the CORPORATION CALLED THE CROWN IN RIGHT OF CANADA and they are committing \nbreach of trust and fraud amongs other things but no one had done any research concerning this matter, CANADA does not have a GOVERNMENT, it is a service corporation but most persons have no rights because they dont know who and what they are.

Maybe look deeper into Québec before ranking it number 1, trust me there is a lot that seem in your eyes to be hidden, sure it's a nice place you can probably pay for things...if you know french that is, the gov sets rules lime Bill 96 that push anglophones into quite the trouble. I am not going to go deeper because people can't agree about politics so if you are interested do your own research\n\n\n\nYeah quite a bit of downsides

i always said everyone i knew dont go to agencies, this is not the 80's. do your research in internet.

If people do their individual research you will come to know!\nObviously fees for international will be more coz you have to fund some one before you get to enjoy the country's citizenship!\n\nEvery one says to do your own research before you do anything!\n\nTalk to people who are already there and understand. \n\nWith this level of social media people can get some feedback before coming!\n\nBy the way, I am an international student too... We all have to face this...\nThis will always be there
|
| 2022-11-12 | 0 |
International students are fine, but the issue begins when those students later apply to the country’s jobs. People living in the country need a place to work and it’s impossible if international students use their degrees to get a job in that country. Getting an international education really just means that you wanna move out of your home country and work/live somewhere else ?♂️. People do zero research before applying to an international college and are forced to live like dirt.

Don't take me wrong but it's their duty to research about college and life in ?? before joining the college.

Before you start anything this important you have to do the research. Check for homelessness, inflation, affordable housing availability, also what kind of education and skills will these 500.000 immigrants have and will they speak English?? Even in a remote part of Canada rent is very high, Canadians are paying 1200.00 per month for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment and don’t forget utilities on top of that. Please help the Canadians already here first. Trudeau has to go and 500.000 extra votes will NOT HELP HIM

As someone who was an international student in Canada, failed and came back, I’m surprised to see this. What were these people expecting? If you can’t afford to send your child to an international college, don’t do it. If you have to take a loan and put everything you have at risk. If your kids are supposed to work to cover their expenses. How tf is a teenager supposed to work AND study at the same time, living in a foreign country alone, having no one close. It’s the families responsibility to do their research, what does the country has to do with poor financial decisions of a certain group of people? I watched the first 9 minutes only, though.

It's better for students to apply in good gov college or uni after doing research rather than going to any shady or private college ??

Hats off to the research and efforts that went towards the production of this documentary, I hope it reaches more people and help them make a more informed decision.

some colleges in usa , canada , australia were setup only for international students so do your own research before applying to any college use your internet to do a lot of research
|
| 2022-10-26 | 0 |
Shame of this shady colleges but really one would think that if you going to study abroad and spend a lot of money on it you would do some research on the school you want to go and program you want to study

At a time when Internet was at its infancy and not available to all, I had researched, applied (snail mail), and came to Canada in 1995 as a foreign student and attended a public college for 3+ years, including co-op. This was 27 years ago and it surprises me that with the wealth of information at our disposal today, there are folks who are still being taken for a ride. People need to smarten up, but often times, I find that it’s the shortcut attitude of many which allows a system like this to exists. I feel sad for these students and their parents, but if you truly want to have a full-fledged Uni / College experience in Canada, then stay away from these for-profit private colleges; apply to a school of repute.

First of all great content & kudos to the team for doing great research and coming out with this. (even minute details such as ppl going to gurudwara with aeroplanes being captured). \n\nOne more topic on which you can make a documentary or do some ground level research is spouse visa cases (where some marriages are fake or groom side bearing all expenses for the girl to study). This also needs to be highlighted .

It infuriates me that people can exploit students, both in Canada and local intake. If you are a student, planning on studying in Canada, please do your research, saves you a lot of money and headache.

Seems like the adage, caveat emptor rings true. This is nothing new, American private school did the same thing to domestic students. I did my research and avoided those schools. In this day and age of Google, how can anyone not do their homework?
|
| 2022-10-21 | 0 |
That's why you should research your school before applying. Also do the cost benefit analysis before you commit your family's life savings.
|

DYOR - do your own research.

In this day of internet and social media connectivity, These students did ZERO RESEARCH ON BACKGROUND and just joined and are now crying?
|
| 2022-10-19 | 0 |
Career colleges are a complete rip off, even for domestic students, that’s why no one goes. \n\nHowever, as someone who has been to college and university, it really sucks to see international students suffer with the demands of curriculum. Also, it’s frustrating to be partnered with a student who doesn’t have a proficient grasp of not only the language, but punctuation, and essay writing. I’ve been in groups with international students where I end up doing all the work because their research or writing is unusable. I actually transferred to a university that allowed us to work autonomously. My disdain for group work is that strong. \n\nIt’s a shame, but setting a student up for failure in a legitimate college or university is not fair to anyone. \n\nThe answer may be learning a trade, especially if language skills aren’t up to par.

I am planning to go to Canada next year, I have done my research, and there are some good colleges in Canada like Durham, Humber, George Brown, and Algonquin but after watching this I am skeptical. \n\nFeels like dropping the plan and doing a master's in the UK and coming back to home.
|
| 2022-10-17 | 0 |
Research more before you pay tuition to these bogus colleges. No Canadian borns go to them. That should have been a red flag. These students are getting ripped off by their own people.
