They should call the parties the fake liberal and democrats or wannabe dictator party because they try and pick and choose who has democracy and it's basically the Muslim and Hindu community, LGBTQ, black lives matter, and now the Ukrainian community and their constantly adding new radical groups. But real Canadians have no democracy.

Nursing students who completed their studies here on CANADIAN SOIL should be the PRIORITY. I know nurses who got their education elsewhere in the world like India, finished just 2 yrs and working in Canada as a Registered Nurse, whereas we Canadians have to go to school 4.5 years to become a registered nurse. So many towns that were once beautiful have been ruined by immigration. The way the government has poorly planned immigration is the problem. There IS NOT a lack of housing in canada , there IS ONLY an affordability problem along with far too much immigration by volume and time frame . Our services and infrastructure (ie; transit services , health care , employment , realisticly affordable housing , finances , etc .) are no where near adequate to accomodate canadians even before the over populating of foreigners . They have been coming here and buying up all the affordable housing during , and post pandemic , with offers far above listed or fair market values , to push owners to sell without question or thought . Following this they stack multiples into these homes illegally and against code , to be able to take up all employment at wages that canadians can't survive on ,forcing them out of employment , homes or both . Once stable and trained to know that business operation , one of their people buy the business and no longer hire any canadians . YES ! TRUE FACT!! How is this accepted ? This is something we could never get away with anywhere .... Selling your country , one property at a time , is only absolute lunacy . They pay top dollar and care nothing about the money , because being that they own most of the businesses , they will get it all back from you within about a years time by raising prices ultimately to do so . Why we have been so run into a crisis within a silent war , is far of that beyond me as we should b lead by our suposed intelligence . There is only right now to react , and correct on this !! Unfortunately what people don't understand, is that college and university educations are kept low for domestic students because the schools are funded by thr government. \n\nHow about stop all government funding for colleges/universities and everyone pays their own tuition at fair market rates.

How about we take away the opulent $370,000 a year salary for all the university professors and administrators; and drop them down to a realistic and fair salary of $88,000. Canada has been the down the road of high immigration in the past, erven in the face of housing shortages. This happened right after World War II. To deal with the shortage of rental housing stock then in the large cities, the government put demands on immigrants and refugees to settle in agricultural areas and small town Canada. But, it seems today that most immigrants just want to go to the already overcrowded cities, especially Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. Rural Canada is now facing manpower shortages, but has a fair amount of housing, as many small towns have actually shrunk in population over the years. and could use the people. Immigrants assimilate better in small towns.

Luckily was able to purchase a home 6 years ago in a smaller town on the outskirts of the city. Now my commute is 2 hours a day and my gas bill has tripled and all my expenses. \nThen I drive into work as an educator and can barely make it through the day bc the school system doesn’t support the amount of students. Classroom sizes doubling, no supports, classrooms taking place in hallways. Had to go on stress leave awhile back, but could barely get medical attention. Had to literally beg a doctor to take me on.. only reason I felt I got medical attention was bc he was my mom’s doctor. Yup this is life now and not fair to anyone. Problem is I feel I don’t have anywhere to “go back to” \n.. I’d leave Canada too now if I could, def. Not what it used to be.

Universities should increase International tuition by at least 400%. \nThen use that money to expand their own student housing, not put it on the Provinces to build for more of these students. \nIts not fair to Canadians. The Universities need to step up and if that means they jack up the tuition, then absolutely they should. \nThis is not fair to Canadians.

Fairness? I spent 4 years at McMaster for my BSc degree and 2 years at UWO for my Master's degree. Then, I waited for 1 year and a half for my PNP and PR applications and finally got my confirmation of PR recently. And they want the same by just yelling at the streets?

Accounts at the time suggested that Sidhu was not qualified, but that by some process he got the job anyway. Will Global be following up on that? Up to now, Global has not asked those questions. Sidhu was convicted for actions resulting in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. He is not a Canadian citizen and the rules are clear: his criminal conviction means he's being deported. Unlike Global News, the victims I see in this story are the families of the Humboldt Broncos team, and the team members themselves. Global News want to change criminal to innocent victim. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was given a fair trial, convicted and sentenced. Now he is being deported. If Global wish to play the 'reverse the story' game, perhaps they should refuse Canadian citizens' tax dollars as 'revenue'.

Canadian Government lured them with the immigration policy to collect huge amount of money as a college fee. After they spend such a huge amount of money and time to go through the process, you are telling them to go back. It’s not fair. It's not this man's fault our justice system is broken. He's just a symptom. Broken down regulations and laissez-faire job qualifications and monitoring caused this accident, not malevolent actions by the driver. He served his time and has shown remorse for the accident. He has a right to appeal this judgement as does any permanent resident who faces deportation.

When these Indians moved here, they are not adapting themselves to Canadian culture, instead, they are forcing Canada to adapt their Indian culture. There are also a lot bad habits Indians have brought here to Canada with them. One day I was buying food in a local store, and these Indians who ran the store wanted to charge me extra (like 15-20% on top of labeled prices and taxes). I said no, they said I have to buy it because they can't put the food back. Then I demanded they honor the prices the items were labeled, and they said no again while trying to lie by stating the extra was part of tax. Then suddenly one of them snatched the money I was holding and trying to put in the register before I could react. Lucky I was faster and grabbed my money back. I left right after, but now when I think about it, I should've probably called the police there because that was literally attempted robbery. These Indians got no honesty in running businesses, and whenever a local business is taken over by them, it would be downhill for that business due to ethics and honesty issues. They also tend to only hire their fellow Indians, which is completely unfair to local Canadians. For example, I've worked with Filipinos before, they are decent people and they give everyone a fair chance during hiring regardless ethnicities. However Indians tend to only care for their own, and that is absolutely destroying Canadian societies. This is Canada, Canadians should be first, then immigrants, and lastly foreign workers/students.

To be fair I'd rather have Indians than..... The others. Plus the high crime constantly mentioned is unlikely to be from the Indians, probably from the increasingly destitute white people, a very peverse and wrong situation

I’m one of those new immigrants, originally from China. I’d like to share my point of view on this subject. For immigrants, sometimes the number one reason to move to another country is the harshness of their home country. In my case, China is not a pleasant place to live - everywhere is overcrowded, housing is insanely expensive, and job opportunities are mostly concentrated on big cities. So, if a young person like myself stayed in China, my only option to make a living is to join the rat race with another million people, work 60 hours a week, all for a 2-bedroom apartment. The minimum wage in China is the equivalent of $4 Canada dollars per hour. I don’t earn the minimum wage, but this should tell you how underpaid workers are over there. I’m ok with working hard and I have worked hard my entire life, got two degrees before 25 while studying as a non-English speaker, but I can’t bear the thought of not being fairly compensated for my work. In a freer and more transparent society, at least worker’s rights are protected. I could have chosen other countries to migrate to, but Canada seemed to have the fastest processing time and highest chance of accepting at the time, so I took the opportunity. I’m sorry for the Canadians who got caught up in a poorly managed immigration system. All I am saying is, if you are in my shoes, you would rather take this chance to move here - this could be the one of a lifetime window of opportunity.
