They aspire to nothing. I believe it's some 60K people yearly. That's a lot.\n\nAnd finally, despite all that massive influx of people since 2015, how come there is still a lack of workers? I'm genuinely interested in the employment rate among ppl who arrived in the 2015 wave and onwards. Even though German politicians of the currently ruling parties would never admit that the generous social benefits are a great pull factor for immigration, it's not hard to conceive, this is everday reality. \n\nIn conclusion, one could say that Germany is deterring the capable and attracting the incapable. The same thing is happening in New Zealand; we are overrun with 3rd world migrants and a shortage of housing and basic infrastructure. In a city where it took 30 mins to get anywhere, it now takes 1.5 hours because of overcrowding. All to keep our GDP numbers high to make up for our false ponzi scheme economy

I would love to live in Germany, I speak some German. But it doesn't make sense for me since wages are low compared to the United States. Its a shame too since I am an IT expert and from what I hear its extremely easy to get in, and most jobs don't require ANY German. But the pay is almost half. Sure, I'd probably make up for this in quality of life improvements versus the United States, but I'd be broke, in a small apartment in a major city, unable to do the things I enjoy in life. Maybe suitable for someone in their 20s-30s, not me.

I am a senior developer from Brazil living in Berlin since 2022, I have lots of friends from other countries too and the most frequent complainings are about the inflation on living costs, mainly about how hard and expensive it is to get a decent place here. There is a feeling that people are not feeling that safe here too, but still safer than most of other countries around the world.\nAt the end, money talks louder. If you are having a good life and are being able to save something you feel great, if you are just living to cover the expenses the small things starts to feel bigger than they are.

I find it hard to believe that these migrants are having an easier time getting into Canada than the US. I've been to Canada 6 times as an American tourist and except for my recent trip up there to see the eclipse, the officers always asked at least 4 questions about my trip and plans like where I'm staying and one time how much money I had. One time when I went they did that 'secondary inspection' where they look through my luggage and enquire about items (in my case several electronics which most people travel with). These people who are going to Canada probably have enough money for a typical weeklong trip and probably have hotel reservations, etc. Other things immigration officers ask often is what kind of work you do and when you are due to report back to work, as well as who you live with. They want to be sure you have ties back home.

Never voted right but there's a kind of immigration that is happening now in the West that is simply tearing at the stability of things. Even here in Portugal, it's getting out of hand. Immigration is one thing asylum seekers is another thing I work in a bank and you should see the money that these people get I have seen where they are living on $7000 a month and they also get the child tax credit of $2500. They are living better than me working full-time.

Hi Abhu n Niku,\n\nI always love your fact based information. I wish you did more of surveys or interviews of Indian immigrants in Canada. Ideally different people from different states in India have different experiences in Canada. Plus previous qualifications, some students here do not even get up and go to college or university to attend lectures and we blame Canada for not giving them jobs. Blame Indian movies that show 2 extremely opposite sides of lifestyles of immigrants in Canada. Either as high profile business people as if they own the country or as poor labourers with 2 or more sharing a common room in a basement. Improve the perspective of people by improving the quality of movies based on immigration to western countries. You can find students who got job, car and house in Canada in 5 years and you can also see students who unfortunately couldn’t do so much. We cannot generalize things.

This should not be right because why are we not OK? I understand different parts of the world has things I’m born Canadian as far as my family and millennia and Canada were third generation here in Canada with Caribbean European and American descent all that being said I don’t care how people comes to Canada ?? but we should get the best of the best and I feel like Since they have a job since I work with the airline, why can’t they just apply for a transfer? Why can’t they why everybody else has to have a passport to travel? Why can’t they? Why can’t they have a passport? I was going to say the immigrant only thing is one thing on TOP of the INSANE pricing... you gotta be a girl working and can't have ANY vice or plan on having ANY kind of life or freedom even though you pay to live there, even working a full time job you will be struggling and majority of these lower rent places were great and usually always been for students no matter what your sex or where you are from to which if you are getting government money to attend school you can only work a certain amount of hours with that funding for school being BARELY enough to get by and forget about it if you have disability you get slightly more but NO landlord wants you if you have disability.... Landlords need to be stopped and controlled.

It is not the immigration policy problem.. It is the quality of people who are being considered for immigration (based only money now a days unlike in the past). In the 70s & 80s it is Ph.Ds, Highly technically qualified people around the world who were given Immigrant visas/citizenship... But these days, all junkies from war torn nations, third world criminals and their children (with money) getting into Canadian universities. Earlier, Universities used to conduct exams at off shore centres and select candidates but now a days it looks like Universities are bankrupt and ready to take in anybody with money thanks to agents of these education institutes( These agents make even a Donkey with money Qualify for university admission !) Those who get into these universities are more interested in all other things except Studies....So Quality immigration is more important than Quantity imigratikn. Hope Canadian Govt will take a critical look into this aspect. We xan not see developed cojntries having this anarchy on the streets on a daily basis.

Man I can't believe things are always getting out of hand. Everyday every week it's always getting out of hand. Someone told me the other day, the homeless people in traffic asking for money are getting out of hand. Even though there's been tent cities for at least 8 years now. Its quite simple. Immigrants are easy to blame. I see it all the time, immigrants getting in trouble for things that citizens never get in trouble for.

Its the same law in usa. Asylum can be granted to anyone that enters the country, legally or illegally. Not saying this system isnt abused. There are obviously people who lie and get asylum based on fraud. But to those people who legitimately came to Canada, usa or other western countries based on actual risk to their life from the govt i think its not really a bad thing to welcome them. People who commit fraud should obviously be deported tho.

As a former Ontario landlord, key word being former, DO NOT RENT ANY UNITS OUT IN ONTARIO! Rent is the only thing the government allows you to steal. If I owned a corner store and I caught people stealing candy bars from me, then found out it takes at least a year to get a hearing with the CandyBay Tribunal to force thieves from walking off with my candy bars.....I WOULD STOP SELLING CANDY BARS! If you are renting a property in Ontario, your tenants could stop paying you. Then use 'Cash For Keys' to extort you for dozens of thousands of dollars, in plain words, EXTORTION. This is the cold reality of Ontario, find another way to make money....

Get people to drag her out of the condo and move all her things into storage and give her the storage unit key. Also give her 2 weeks rent in a cheap motel. Then move into the condo and change the locks.

Yall are coming to canada and we are trying to get out. You are not doing yourself a favour by coming here, this is not the same country it was years back. People here have become more american; rude, disrespectful, overly egotistical, our streets arent safe anymore, car thefts at an all time high and no one talks about the amount of random acts of violence coming from the homeless in my area, housing prices surging YoY by atleast 11%/year. Cost of living has increased 4-10x on certain things in the grocery stores. Basically these kind of things happen when the economy is starting to go south, more crimes and scams are coming as the situation get worsen. This new era of chaos begins back since covid time, and will probably last for this decade. Hopefully, i am all wrong on this. Now is not the time to have secondary properties as an investment option when fed fund rate still around 5 % despite upcoming rate cut, and this is the time to keep investment conservative, budget tight and spending under constraint, in hope, global recession will be on soft landing.

I've been trying to get gov assistance for months... the exact walmart order I used to get for the week now cost 300 more and they will not give me any assistance... while these ppl get the assistance housing without doing a damn thing

What I find very strange is that immigration is an issue ONLY in the western world . In other countries it is not and mainly because if you are a foreigner you will always be a foreigner so things are clear from the start . \nSo as a foreigner you will have to put your kids in private schools , get a private health insurance etc …basically you will have to do what the wealthy locals are doing , difference is that they could use the public services but they don’t . \nAnd so for if you cannot afford to bring your family (also the type of visa you get will tell you if you can ) then you come by yourself , make your money and go back home . So the system automatically regulates itself . Simple .

After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. No matter where you live in Canada we are bombarded with American News so we can see all the bad things that happen in the US. Canadian news is designed to be more of an informative format whereas American News is much more sensationalized so we don't always get to see through the crap! I would agree that much of the USA is quite safe but the reality is that anyone wanting to move from Canada to the USA is more likely to find their best opportunities in larger urban centers where all these concerns become far more real.
