He's like a child who would rather break his toy than share it. And he views Canada as his toy.

Time to cement up the hole..These are not G8 countries looking to start fresh in a new country with job skills we need like Home builders Or doctors willing to stay in Canada They are 3rd world countries Looking for a loop hole to get into a open armed country Use its resources Health, Social services, food banks, on a student visa while applying for Perm rez. From that they move on to harder to get into countries that offer more wages..USA England France Germany Where before hand they would of been denied entry not being from a G8 country When you have 8 people from the same country living in a 2 bedroom home Of course the rent is high Because 8 people working on their share of the rent isnt a problem Times this by every dam city that has colleges near by \nTrudeau is intentionally trying to destroy Canada from within Farmers Truckers immigration Slush funded apps Food Gas Homeless military ...Word to the wise China has 200 million well fed troops

All the ones who voted for him not once but multiple times can share in the blame for destroying their country. What are you just going to ask the new arrivals to go back home?

Oh gawd…..I’M sick of colour of skin BS……ALL COLOURS OF PEOPLE CAN BE RASISM …….STOP THE INTERNAL WAR WITH THE COLOUR OF OUR SKIN……THE DIFFERENCES IS IN OUR CULTURE BELIEFS…..EVERY COUNTRY HAS DIFFERENT CULTURES….GOVERNMENT……ITS OVERCOMING AND EDUCATION AND SIMPLY SHARING DIFFERENT CULTURES WITHIN COMMUNITIES. THIS IS THE OUTCOME OF GLOBAL, AND IMMIGRATION. AS HUMANS CAN WE NOT PULL TOGETHER? WE NEED A SOLID LEADER IN CANADA THAT HAS POLITICAL POLICIES THAT RESPECT “FREEDOM” AND “FAIRNESS” FOR ALL CANADIANS…..HES A LIAR! JUST PROVED IT WITH QUEBEC…ON CARBON TAX.

I still remember, I was working in a hotel as a front desk employee,\nFew refugees were staying in a hotel for free, which 1 room costs around $150 per night during 2018.\n\nAfter a few months, they got a home, I personally did shuttle and dropped them off on their new home,\n\nThey had Couches, 3 bedrooms, TV, and microwave all the basic electronics which are needed for a daily basis for free.\n\nAnd again, after 3 or 4 months, I saw him in a parking lot with having BMW owned by him.\n\nI was so disappointed that I was working 16 to 18 hours a day and barely afford to live in sharing places,\n\nAnd these guys never paid taxes, got homes and money from the government. ???

The housing crisis is happening everywhere. The only reason I am okay is I bought my own house in Hamilton 20 years ago, and it is paid off. Nothing is grandfathered for newcomers -- they are the ones stuck with paying very high prices for housing, so they better get used to living in overcrowded conditions eg 3 working people sharing a one bedroom apartment.
|

1,27 million people added in just 1 year. Albeit most of it temporary workers, this is a disaster for the younger generations trying to make it in the middle class. The housing market is insane right now, if your family was middle class just 10 years ago then you will automatically be lower class once out of education no matter your degree. I know 30 years olds engineers living in shared flats in Calgary with full time jobs. Life has become a sad rat race for the average Canadian.

As someone living in Quebec I can confirm.. housing prices just seem unreasonable for someone with a modest income. pretty much had to keep living with family and pay them a rent that is liveble with.. Heard other people who can't count of family had to share single person appartments with friends and sometimes even random people in similar situation. Its honestly terrifying to think about potentially having no home despite getting a modest income..\nThe medical scene is probably a bit better but still not that great looking. Quebec had (dunno how it works in other provinces) a system of Family doctors that the medical system sort of relied on. yet there is barely no family doctors left. I can't buy the meds I need without a doctor giving me the prescription but I no longer have a family doctor for the last 5 years. I've been jumping through hoops and all just to get somehow to extend or give me another year of prescription.. I need those meds for life though....\nFood situation.. I guess sure the prices have increase but for the most part we(me and family) are still hanging on fine. However restaurents have gotten too pricy so we had to cut luxury out of our life.

Why not have a government program that pays new immigrants to build housing? Denmark has a program of simple, affordable housing for single parents where there is a shared large kitchen and everyone participates in making dinner 2 X a month and doing clean up 2 X a month, but you get dinner as a group every night. It's great for working parents, plus there are built in friends for the kids. We need more cohousing options.

I may receive a lot of criticism for my opinion, but I feel compelled to share my experience as a resident and worker in this country. I immigrated to Canada from Ukraine in 2022 and have since been living and working in Winnipeg. This country has offered me numerous opportunities, even though I do not hold high-ranking positions. My wife and I are able to save a bit of money for unforeseen expenses. Just when I started to feel settled and thought that things were going quite well, I encountered numerous videos claiming the opposite, particularly highlighting the scarcity of affordable housing.
\n
\nDespite the prevalence of such content, my personal experience differs. I pay $725 for housing with a salary of $2.3K, which I find to be a reasonable balance. Some might say I was fortunate, but affordable housing ranging from $800 to $1000 is readily available in Winnipeg, and this is just one city's example; there are many other cities across Canada.
\nFrom my perspective, the issue of housing affordability is overstated and not solely attributable to the country's policies. Such scenarios can occur in any nation if half the population desires to reside within 4% of its land area (namely, Toronto and its vicinity), leading inevitably to soaring prices – that's simply economics.
\n
\nIt's not my place to dictate how Canadians should live, but it appears to me that the crux of the problem lies in the uneven distribution of the population. As the second-largest country globally, Canada can comfortably accommodate 40 million people or even significantly more. However, this necessitates a collective understanding that concentrating the population in a single city may not be the most prudent approach.

Lovely video!
\n
\nWelcome to the dark, gray, and occasionally depressing northern hemisphere. While I don't reside in Canada, I do share a similar latitude across the Atlantic. You're all doing great, and I believe in your ability to thrive here.
\n
\nI'd like to offer two quick suggestions. Firstly, regarding the quality of winter clothing, Northface is a reliable option. I recommend exploring videos on layering techniques for winter. Mastering this, along with acquiring the appropriate attire, will prove invaluable, especially considering the unpredictable weather changes and potential wind chill effects. Purchasing winter clothing during the summer and vice versa for summer attire can yield some excellent bargains.
\n
\nSecondly, envision yourselves as future business owners. Observe the entrepreneurial spirit of independent individuals from various backgrounds, such as Africans, Chinese, and Indians, within your community. As you pursue your studies, or work (even if it is a menial job) work diligently, and aim for promotions, remember that you're also working towards building something meaningful for yourselves. It can be quite tough but this mindset will undoubtedly pay off in the long run. Explore, Etsy, shopify as well. Who knows...
\n
\nEnjoy Canada!

In Australia 10-15 migrants are having to share a house, due to massive shortage of rental properties, they are nothing more then slave labour, to fill the underpaid underskilled jobs us Aussies refuse to do, its a giant scam, these migrants are being treated worse then dogs, I presume it's the same in Canada.

Free Palestine right on your hat eh? To me that says that you hate the west, not just Canada, Avoid the commonwealth altogether, go to a country that shares your values.

It's worse than she's telling you. Indian students are living 10-15 in a basement. 5-6 sharing one room. Eache paying $800 a month to share a room. 1000 people are lining up for job where there's only 10 jobs available for minimum wage. ?

Did not understand how Palestinians became a refuge on their own land but it is true Israel were given a chance by the Palestinians people to come and live as a refuge with them as Israel has no land in the first place. \nI will say we should respect how the Palestinians share their land with them.

You don't normally rent a $2600 2-Bedroom Apartment on your own in Toronto. You share and split. Despite that, and 2 people making each $50,000 a year - tax, it is a bit hard to make ends meet. You need money to enjoy life, just like in those crazy expensive American cities. And you shouldn't be spending more than 40% of your income on rent. There are ways of saving but buying a home in Toronto is unaffoardable. Better think of Kingston, Ottawa, Brockville... where it is way cheaper with some good paying jobs sometimes depending what your field of expertise is.

First of all it’s not any specific countries responsibility to take refugees solely on the fact that they share a language. That makes no sense it’s not saudis responsibility any more than it would be like idk Frances for example. And the other thing is they don’t want to leave necessarily it’s their land thats the whole point

american declaration of independence;\namericam people do not have too pay debt/tax too a king, too anything, on their land. it allows people to be free from debt illusion, protect themselves and property from it, That the people have a right to bear arms, they can protect their property from debtors tax\nthe debtors want to destroy all rights, write their own laws, so they can take peoples rights/law from them, for slavery to their debt illusion, taxes, accusers of our brethren, accusing others of a debt(to extort, rape what they have and create).\nonly on your own land can anyone, have life, liberty and happiness, the land of the free.\nthe declaration of independence made one mistake, they didn’t think anyone would try to own all the land on planet earth. all humans should only own 1/8 acre of land, all the rest public land, shared, 1000 ft. away from any resources man, woman and children need. so none can try to own all the land and resources attaching tax, debt illusion to it\n\n\nStatue of liberty\nGive me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.\nAmerica(north, middle and south), The land of the free! free from debtors.

Don't cough too loud about illegal immagration in US , Canada is getting their fair share. Especially when Trudeau states we in Canada are kinder to immigrants and invite them to come to Canada, than US. He then has the mounties at specific l;ocations to arrest them, as they come across the border.

I live in US... and to be honest I am disappointed with indian embassy service. Never take call. Never talk respectfully. Curt rude and scam callers by billing them to share general info that is supposed to be their job to answer calls. I don't care if they are understaffed but for the amount of fees that they charge to do visa and passport, it is ridiculous how unprofessional and uncivil they are behaving. I am well educated and yet distressed. They are abusing their own citizens this way

I really don't get the outrage, lived in downtown chicago for 6 years and the prices for a shared apartment was 700/bedroom. From what I can see, Canada is just catching up. Ya'll getting mad doesnt help just level up and stop fear mongering.
