As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. I am living in GTA since 1993. Initially I had been a factory first 11 years. Ever since i did not get job based on my skills, it was far big difference.\nLater in 2001 i started to work in IT Industry, after this10 years this industry started to decline.\nCurrently i do still find a job, but that is like a contingent worker and now i work 6 months in a year. My kids have grown up, and other than a miracle, there is nothing of a skill that can you depend upon.\nMoreover Canada has failed sense a difference between faithful citizenship and rogue communities. So rogue communities are have 2 jobs (cheat fully) and there are some people i know are working on 3 jobs absolutely have less real skills than me.

It stands to reason that being a Muslim has to be easier in a Muslim country. Multiculturalism has been tried for several decades in many if not all western countries and has never really worked and it’s not getting better, if anything it is becoming more problematic. Maybe it would be better for everyone to start returning people who don’t believe in western values, benefits, freedoms and opportunities, to places where they have the same belief system.

I want to share my experience , me my husband and my 14 month old daughter landed in Canada Calgary on 28 June 2023, we stay for 2 weeks with our friends and start searching for apartment. Once we moved to our apartment we started looking for jobs, in the month of aug we both got a job I am working as deployment engineer and my husband is working as product owner, and a daycare for my daughter. We worked hard in searching jobs all day all night, and with the grace of god we got it. The life is tough every where, it is just the way you think of it. We left our well settle jobs in India before moving here, but yes with full determination. I want to encourage people here not to loose hope prepare a plan for your self and stick to it, you will eventually get it. All the best to all the new comers and those are planning ?❤

We live in Houston, Texas, where the culture is more conservative. Parents are not told how to raise their children, cost of living is still relatively good, and being Muslim (wife wears hijab) hasn't been as challenging as other places. \n\nPlenty of Muslims from all over, mosques, Islamic schools, halal food, etc too. \n\nMy parents moved my siblings and I from Los Angeles to Karachi, when I was 12. Not so much for religious reasons, more homesickness. After a miserable 15 yrs, I moved back to the US. \n\nI'm not trying to dissuade you guys. Wanted to share a few key things to help your transition:\n1. Pilot it out. Move to Istanbul for 6 months, then maybe Kuala Lumpur for another 6 months, etc. Test out each location. Inflation is everywhere. Not all Islamic countries are Islamic. But you have to experience it first hand. \n2. Take LOTS of money. A decent life outside the first world means you're loaded. \n3. Build connections where ever you go. The things we take for granted are luxuries elsewhere. Water, electricity, gas. Connections help you get what you need, sometimes for a price. \n4. Schools will be underwhelming. If you can homeschool, cool. \n5. If you start a business, go solo. Don't partner up with others. \n\nIn any case, hope it works out inshaAllah. Who knows, we may be neighbors!

Me and my husband are trying to leave the US for similar reasons, life is hard and no time to actually enjoy our kids s childhood and we want our kids to get a islamic education and enjoy life as muslim in muslim country it s so fun, i personally started suffering from social anxiety i can stay home for a whole month because i feel i uncomfortable with the bad looks and the negativity to the point that i don’t take my kids to the playground because im afraid they ll be treated in a bad way because it happened in the past , we r thinking about going the arabia saoudi or morocco\n i work with individuals with disabilities i will miss them so much my father asked me to not leave that job and to do my best to make their life easier, i feel like i ll miss them the most, may Allah unite me with them in jannah ameeeen

And yes the healthcare is sketchy with 3 month wait for an MRI scan (a basic procedure my mother gets the same week in a small town in war-time Ukraine). Turkeye is a good place to start, or even to choose. It is affordable to explore as an option, and in my opinion, I would choose it. The island of Cyprus is another, since Turkeye took over part of it, and once you are in the region you will get a sense of where else to go. I think the global south is the future, along with China and Russia, but more Islamic options in the global south.

The only decision that should get anyone to leave Canada is, without doubt, the fact that it's become a totalitarian state thanks to Trudeau. However, he also invited more of you in, and, let's be frank, you want everyone there to be Muslim. And most of them dont want to be Muslim or be dictated to by guys support terrorism to achieve your aim of ruling the world. ALL the other religions in Canada and elsewhere are there for a quality life, and for decades found their prayer spots, ate fish or even kosher, attended public schools but taught their religion privately, survived civil law etc - all except one. Let's face it, the problems all started with the grip on the world caused by the mostly Arabian oil-producing countries holding the world to ransom and getting rich enough to buy out western properties and businesses. So, it really is best for all you the folks here, who feel the same, to head for countries where you fit into the country rather than a country having to fit into your ideologies. It's a win-win.

Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. There is no 'dream' here anymore. it is hell. And even if you find a decent job, you will be ask to do the job of 4 peoples and taking your vacation will be near impossible without losing it. If you are not dying in your country, don't come here. I find it so weird when they ask for Canadian experience when you just came to Canada I blame the employer they make it difficult for people to get hired and in return people leave to find a job in a different country I did the same thing came to Canada to look for work working in IT and I didn’t get IT job because I did t have any Canadian experience. After two years of working at a job that was not even what I studied I left Canada and found a job that I studied for I got a good job in America Long island New York and never looked back……. I get paid double then I would have if I had gotten a job in Canada any way ….. forget Canadian experience it’s not worth moving to Canada the country has changed. You pay more for everything in the states you get things for a lot less . Car insurance in Canada is so expensive……… do t get me started on the winter ?

You tend to get high taxes in places with free health care. Many use Canada as a bridge country to the US. In the US health care is very expensive. Many companies you would work for offer free health care plans for single individuals ( if you have a family it costs a lot ) but those plans have such high deductibles and co-pays that you can't afford to use it. Most US health care plans have very high deductibles ad co-pays making it extremely expensive. Then when you retire and start getting social security which is not much money by the way, you also get Medicare which also has a monthly charge around $150 mth. It doesn't cover everything. It does not cover dental or vision. It does not cover all your hospital stay which tends to occur as you get older. Most Americans end up having to sell their homes that they spent a lifetime paying off, to pay medical bills and end up on Medicaid which is the free last resort medical care and end up in a nursing home to end your days. Most nursing homes are bad. You end up in a 2 person room, in diapers, up for meals and back to bed, diaper changed 2 times per shift and one shower per week done by whomever in the communal shower room. Shelves until you die, which many do very quickly out of despair. After working your whole life that is the prize folks in the US.

First generation immigrants have always worked in labour jobs to get started. We are proud of our parents who sacrificed their careers for us. Taxation is about collective living. We will continue to improve. Crime here is nothing compared to most countries in the world. You give anecdotal evidence. Random stabbing is much better than mass shooters. Drug crisis is real. This will be global issue, including Asia. C-18 is making tech companies accountable and pay up. Making friends is easy here. If you move around a lot, you can’t build friendships.

I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. It doesn't matter to them about honoring the terms as long as they can get enough people to sign up. But soon enough (and it's starting to happen) word is going to get out that it's not really that great and the number of people signing on is going to plummet.\nThe Canadian government doesn't care about the immigrants as people, all they are is numbers to keep our overall GDP propped up, meanwhile per capita GDP is in a freefall.

I figured this was coming eventually. Canadians were known my entire life up until the last few years as jolly, mind your own business folks who didn’t mind a hockey fight but it’s really been a drastic cultural shift. I’m sure we see more of the degeneracy via social media which makes it seem bigger than it is and brings the psychos out of the woodwork but you’re right—you see more needles and prostitutes and drag shows and things targeting kids who should just be kids all the time. I haven’t considered leaving the US but I’ve moved counties and I’m preparing to do it again and get farther out from the city. It takes guts, especially if you’re going over an ocean. I’m proud of you guys for being brave enough to start over!

I start to wonder if there's anyone who is not struggling in Toronto unless rich? I got a well paying job, not even my own place (shared house with too many people) and a car and an estimate of 70-80% of my income is used for monthly bills. You don't even get the basics in this city without struggling. Looking for alternative but rental prices seem to be high everywhere even in Kingston and other places far away. Food prices are insane, going out has become very expensive. Don't even mention all the taxes and high car insurance rates. Feel stuck. It's a nightmare.

Maybe the Palestinians should take responsibility and start developing their own country without spending all the aid they get on rockets and vote on a government that doesn’t build their military under their hospitals. When people want to claim back their towns and cities from Muslims they claim racism. if you look at how islam behaves you get mass migration into ountries where they initially behave, but when their numbers increase to 7%+ they start rioting demanding islamic laws ,islamic schools, courts etc. This is just the beginning. Why don't many Arab countries take in these people because they seen them as a serious problem and refuse to take them.

As a Muslim father with three daughters, Islam in this country has become westernized, its almost impossible to live Islamically, eat halal and live interest free, the drugs, LGBTQ and inflations is only getting started with no end in site. We also are on our way out. Especially Ontario

I am sick of governments in western countries kow towing to a minority....middle eastern people.\nWhen are the goverments going to wake up and start taking back control of their countries instead of allowing muslims take over?\n\nI find it astounding that our governments opened the gates as it were, and allowed muslims in their droves to immigrate to UK, US and Australia etc. And now look what is happening...\n\nIf any politicians listened to learned speakers such as, the son of hamas founder, Brigitte Gabriel and or Douglas Murray, then they would be more informed as opposed to ill informed about muslims and the ideology they believe in, evil in disguise.\n\nWhy are the members of the UN not asking themselves, 'why are surrounding middle eastern countries point blankly refusing to take in palestinian refugees'?\n\nBut, how stupid are the leaders of western countries saying oh yes we will take the refugees, we feel sorry for them oh and let's also give them financial assistance. My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

It's so sad, because it is such a huge, beautiful country. And you know, in the USA, we grew up watching things, and reading things, etc that weren't even Amercian, but Canadian, and mostly not knowing it. So many beloved things from Canada. We did also feel like they were happier, and more pleasant than we were. But I have many friends up there, from all Provinces, and they all have the same complaints. Thing is, they are the same complaints about the USA also, but just things like crime in the USA is notably worse....I used to live in the UK also, and that was better, but still not brilliant. The west as a whole is falling apart, and there are reasons for that, reasons that are being mostly ignored, so it will only get worse I'm afraid, unless we start demanding that they know longer be countries that cater to only the rich. Where only the rich can thrive.

Then they need tp stop electing and handing their government seats to those who use them as war fodder to further their own wants and start getting behind people who are trying to help them build where they already live

It is impossible to get ahead in Canada. This country loves to text you when you’re getting ahead when you start really making money this country loves to show you whose boss and loves to take the money away from you is impossible to throw it in your face forward in this country you think you’re making it, but the government shows you tells you put it in your goddamn fucking face that you got nowhere to go, but just pay us.

I live in Ontario Canada. Generally; I vote Liberal. I voted Trudeau in twice.... now regretting it a little bit. He has done some good for me; but also bad.\nCanada started plummeting after COVID hit; and it has gotten worse. The main errors made by this government are with both the Liberals and Conservatives agreeing to 'grown' big corporates into HUGE monopoly corporates. TO compete with the USA. Due to this; we are now paying food prices through our ears!! Crazy. Also; there seems to be a level of corruption regarding the housing issue. No affordable housing. Not enough homes built. Only the rich can afford homes now. Government gets to tax that; and they love it! The rich class have more clout in voting for a government that aids them in making more and more money that they rob from the POOR house renters. The lower and middle class. As the Middle class in Canada is now becoming poor. The rich get much richer. This government is trying to bring in thousands of immigrants to stimulate the economy. But mostly; the immigrants have taken over all the lower Canadian jobs. We can't get them anymore. Because immigrants work cheap here; and sign onto contract deals with mega-corps that ensure they keep working for 2 years. Job entry level Canadians (are left without). There are also not nearly enough houses for immigrants to live in anyway! This government did not anticipate that we simply do not have enough homes for immigrants, nor Canadians alike!! What a fail. Healthcare is also failing huge... mostly thanks to the Conservatives who love to block almost every good healthcare BIll possible.

As a *ONCE PROUD* older Canadian I would *STRONGLY URGE ALL PEOPLE* looking to immigrate to look elsewhere. Everything that was the wonderful free, secure, safe, affordable-ish, fun country I grew up in, *IS TOTALLY GONE starting in 2015* and rapidly getting frighteningly worse every year after. If my entire history, children and grandchildren were not all here I would move in a HEARTBEAT. This is just not a country I would otherwise want to be stuck in should the worst happen and this government continue to rule or be re elected, some *VERY VERY FRIGHTENING THINGS ARE COMING AND CANADIANS HAVE NEXT TO NO POWER TO STOP THEM OR PROTECT THEMSELVES* Please consider all other options before deciding to come here, this is said from sorrow and the bottom of my heart.
