When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

It is law of the land, like it or not just accept it. I did my masters from United States, and later worked there for a decade. As person born in India, I can never get green card of the United States. After leaving to India for good, I realized I cannot adjust in India, US would never accept me, so I came to Canada. But like every person who moved from US to Canada, not a day goes without missing the US. People in Canada are amazed why I left US and came to Canada. People from other country of birth can easily get US green card and eventually citizenship, but I can never get one. So should I start hating the US? Nope. I am grateful to US for everything. I came from a poor family in India, with less than 8000 USD in my parents saving. I studied in US free of cost sponsored by research grants, did top notch academic research, and worked on top notch industrial research. Due to which I had no issues finding job in India, and directly got interview and job offer in Canada, Sweden and UK while sitting at my home in India.\nUS would always be my home, does not matter I have a green card or not. I would always remember US and miss it, in good memory.

Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

Immigration is supposed to HELP a country. A country is not supposed to HELP immigrants. I came here as an international student, and knew it very well that becoming a permanent resident was NOT a guarantee whatsoever! Entitled Indians demanding work permit extension or permanent residency is such a disrespect to Canadians! They need to leave.

I know you are young but if you are planning on leaving Canada, consider the potential repercussion on your old age security (OAS) benefits. If you are living outside Canada, you must have resided in Canada for at least 20 years since the age of 18. Not a showstopper but something to consider. Remember, unlike CPP, OAS benefits are given to qualified individuals regardless of their work history. Even at 38, you would still be young enough to begin a new career in a foreign country and accrue enough work credits to qualify for their social security. This means you could potentially have two sources of income in retirement. That's on top of your CPP or any other personal retirement funds you may have with your employer(s).

A LOT of students have come here illegally (not all) is the issue; and for those who have stop protesting failing grades. I also tried to move to other countries. Poland where my family is from being one of them. And I couldn't make it work. So I had to leave. I went to school in Toronto (as a Canadian) Finance, and got my investment license, and I still wasn't given a chance in the industry. When things don't go as you planned, sure it sucks.
