The housing market is a disaster because people can only rely on making money off their houses as jobs suck and there are no Canadian industries left. So we bring in more people to fill in crap jobs crap wages and they’re surprised they have nowhere to live. What a shocker we don’t oil we don’t own our lumber. We don’t own the processing we own nothing. And in the end, all it creates is versions of provinces literally cultures very little integration with each other.

You facts are way off to the point of being misleading. Then average cost of a home in the GTA is $1.2 million and by law you need a 20-25% down payment. Even if you're lucky to get that $800k home you need a 15% down payment of 15% so that's $120k! Incomes here suck you need over $250k to qualify for a mortgage...who earns that? My circle is lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers and only 2 income professionals can get that. Over the last 10 years Canada has become very anti families and anti heterosexual so most people are single. It's also become super anti social. I've lived and traveled all over and everyone I know is making plans to go back to their home countries, countries of parentage or the US or Mexico. This place is a money sucking trap filled with identity politics, High crime, bad attitudes,bad weather and no social life

All of this is caused by corporate greed gumming up the system with lobbying, NIMBYism, and plain old corruption by large real estate and rental groups. Love or hate Trudeau, it doesn't matter, either Liberals or Conservatives would have let this happen. The system is working as designed. Corporate greed is sucking the wealth and value out of North America and if we don't push against it, we'll continue to see more of the same. This has been happening for decades, this didn't begin in 2015. It's just we're now hitting the tipping point where everyone wakes up and realizes that blindly chasing profits doesn't create a strong economy or a strong country. You have to invest in your people if you want your country to thrive.

So I’m an immigrant who arrived from Poland as a child. What made me quickly integrate and become Canadian was the absence of ethnic enclaves. I grew up in social housing, which sucked, but it was with a tonne of Portuguese, El Salvadorians, Colombians and a few Somalis in my hood. The thing is, there was no dominant group, and thus we all had to live together, communicate in English, and adopt universal values and lifestyles that all those groups had in common, rather than those of my home country. I feel these new generations won’t have that same experience.

I lived and grew up in small town Canada during the 80s and 90s and I can tell you white people weren't very friendly, and they certainly didn't hire people that were nonwhite for any of the good paying jobs, the data exists if you care to look. I think instead of promoting division and board line hate why don't work with these communities and find out why they only hire their own. Maybe pay back for the decades of being shit on by white Canada would probably be a reason you may hear; I know I do and have because I've asked owners of the companies. They are fed up with driving cabs and doing shit work so instead of crying about it they created communities or took over communities and made it so they don't have to reply on or hope that whites will help.... Everywhere I go, I’m a minority now. This is crazy! I am 100% for inviting vetted people who can be an asset to our country but I’m not okay with inviting mass amounts of people into the country that aren’t a true benefit having them here.
