What’s immigration like with nursing? I’ve been debating coming over from UK to Canada for 6 months, a year or 2 in a few years when I have more RN experience and have saved money, but with all the things I’ve been seeing online about the housing crisis, cost of living and immigration problems it’s really putting me off. \n\nAny nurses from Canada here got any views or advice on this? Is it difficult to find employment as a nurse in Canada? I thought there was a big shortage of Nurses in the country.\n\nMy other idea was Australia but they seem to be struggling with a housing crisis too ?. Also a lot further away from the UK than Canada. Pay and work-life balance seem better in Australia and so is the weather. Ahhhhh, who knows

The policy matters less, the ausländeramt matters way more. They are the first contact for immigrants but their inefficiency and unfriendly manner scare many off. I’ve been waiting 2 years just for a PR application, I called, phoned, emailed but no answers at all, now my current visa is expiring and I feel hopeless. The simple “Lebens in Deutschland” test takes more than 8 weeks to evaluate which makes no sense. When I lived in Australia, their immigration office offers more than 20 languages and everything’s online and easy to contact, I got my visa within 48 hours. Germany is too lagging behind, if they don’t upgrade the system and attitude, it doesn’t matter what the policy is.

Mexico is free and independent, not a colony of the United States, if you want peace you will have peace, if you want war, you will have war. Fear and money is something we've never had.

I had my IEC visa granted in 2022, I arrived in 2023 and I've got until March 2026...looking at PR now, having never gone to university...it looks very bleak for me with the proposed reduction of LMIA points and competitiveness of PR. Points will probably go up, right?

Ngl... hard for me to feel bad after seeing all of the chaos they've been causing around the world. People are tired of the bs & more tired of being terrorized

Thank you so much for this. In spite of being born in Ontario, I learned a lot about Canada! My entire family was born and grew up either in Toronto or in the then-small towns closeby. My father moved us to upstate NY in 1957 when I was 9 years old, me kicking and screaming all the way. I was devastated to be leaving Canada, and now at 77, I've decided this life-long yearning to return to my birthplace has to become reality. I've started the process, hoping I may gain some points because I'm a former citizen :) . I still have lots of family in several provinces; people I haven't seen since we were children, and some of us are great-grandparents now. I feel strongly that I need to leave this world in the place where I began :) Thanks again for the great video!

This is yes, Mexico has Mexico has killed a lot of people in the United States and make? Mexico was warned for years. Is Mexico's problems why these people are coming here? That's their people. How many people that has killed in the United States already and these borders? What are they talking about? Is they fault? It's not the United States fault. Canada is doing the same, then I do anything. They've been one for years and years and years and years. And they haven't done nothing yet. Still, American people are still dying from all these mamali's drugs. It's time that we put our foot down and stop thinking about the human beings that are dying instead of thinking about money. Money is not everything in life. It's just pays your bills.

I just don't get it - if Mexico wants to avoid the tariff, then just deploy all the soldiers you've got to the northern border - it's not that you have some hostile neighbors, except the cartels inside your territory, what's the use for the military you've got, other than avoiding tariff?

US NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OR THIER INTERNAL PROBLEMS AND STOP BLAMING OTHERS FOR THIER LACK OF VALUES!! ( AS THEY SAY IN MEXICO EL SORILLO NO SE VE WL FUNILLO!!) THE FOX DOESNT SEE ITS OWN TAIL...IN OTHER WORDS CK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU BLAME OTHERS!!??‍♀️

That old fart should've learned by now that he can't run a country like he runs his companies, you can't just push other countries around like you do other businesses.

The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). A lot of extremist groups which want, Khalistan ARE supported and protected by the Canadian government especially by Justin Trudeau and these people are committing nothing but violence and terrorism in the name of free speech. Indian government has issued many extradition requests, but the Trudeau government has done nothing about it and has protected these extremists. Over the years Indian government has warned Canadian government about this issue constantly and after years of housing these Canadian terrorists (because Canada calls them their citizens and protects them, what else can be the correct term for them and nothing like Khalistan exists) they've started to cause problems for the people already living there (like the terrorists Pakistan was housing are causing problems to them). They know they are not gonna get a Khalistan in India so where else are they gonna build it? Voila! Canada! This is the reason behind them not assimilating with the existing culture.Trudeau has even gone to lengths of calling Amit Shah (Home minister of India) and PM Modi (if you don't know what the heck are you doing here go study geopolitics a bit) unalivers of Hardeepsingh Nijjar WITHOUT any evidence (they just keep saying they have it but have shown nothing till now) and because of which Canada has worsened its relations with the Indian Government. They are even comparing India with the likes of North Korea in terms of threat. Indian Government in reply is giving Canada the same treatment it gives to Pakistan (a bit better of course, but the diplomacy has gone to sh it. And the reason why Trudeau is doing all this, yeah VOTES for sh itty domestic politics he's sacrificing long term GOOD relations with the Indian Government. Now, you may think that worsening relations with India is a good thing for Canada, yeah no, its not good because India has trade relations with Canada which may worsen due to this (yeah, great going for an economy which is already in shambles) and UK or US are not gonna do anything to India over Canada because India geopolitically has more significance than Canada (I'm not bragging, please don't misunderstand). This rant has gone to a very different tangent but yeah a lot of problems Canada is having is mainly due to their government. Any of Canadian friends (I have not reason to hate you) and Punjabi brothers/sisters (Yeah, unless you are some sh itty extremist you are a brother/sister to me) please don't take this offensively. Peace.

Do you all hear yourselves….?? Some of the most racist comments I’ve heard…..!!\n\nThis is basically saying that because it is brown people moving into Canada ( Brampton, BC, TO) doesn’t matter, there’s a problem with immigrants. What would the comments be if Brampton had an influx of Britt’s, or Germans, or Portuguese….Etc….??\n\nSaying, “this is not the Canada I knew”…. Well, “Canada is a multicultural country” \nThis means that all cultures from every part of the world decide to enter Canada and make it their home. Just like my parents did in the 60’s from Portugal. Why is it okay to have people immigrate here in the 60’’s from Italy, Portugal, Greece Etc…. And people coming in now from countries that are of colour, there is a massive backlash…. Canada has one of the lowest populations. Why not have some hard working people live here and contribute to the economy from India, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Lebanon, Iraq Etc….

A classic case of l've got mine, you're on your own. You see it all the time in the Southwest. Not everyone but too many.?

Tariff this Tariff That! WOW prices are going to increase? Who would’ve thought ??
2024-11-27 0
I've been to many countries. You are going to miss all of the rights you and your children currently have. Now you may want to try Lebanon. If you go there you may be able to shape the new government. It has always been considered the gem of the Mediterranean. It's very Tolerant of differences.
2024-11-27 0
They’ve done a lot to help with the border? So what is this 10,000 illegal immigrants coming in per day thing?
2024-11-26 0
We've seen what the Elitist Democrat's way of doing things got us. Now sit back and shut up! The adults are speaking now!
2024-11-26 0
America should've been doing this for years if ur not going to help with the border and smuggle people in, allow drugs to come over the border. You get slapped with a tarif until u start doing what your ment to simple clean ur shit up mexico
2024-11-26 0
Did she really just say Mexico has done a lot to help the Biden administration control the flow of migrants into America? That is the most laughable and ridiculous thing I’ve heard on CNN to date.
2024-11-26 0
We are already paying tariffs that Mexico has in place for our goods . We've been lazy and just tolerating it.
2024-11-26 0
I hate referring people as a certain type . But here goes , I’ve worked with these kind of people , and they were known as Coconuts, ? brown on the outside but felt white on the inside. They should be ashamed.
2024-11-26 0
All of a sudden we have to be careful of what Mexico’s president has to say? We are the strongest economy and we’ve been put to the test. We can do with or without. Tariffs mean better competition and manufacturing jobs to increase here in the US; more jobs = more money being earned and spent within our economy. What a slap on our American face with her statement when they’re the ones supplying the drugs. Let’s stop the consumption and see how well their economy and politics do.
2024-11-26 0
Of course, prices will go up, but that's not the main issue here. Besides, liberals are the last group who should be complaining about rising costs! The real question is who will suffer the most. President Trump has done this before—if you recall, he did it last time, and within 30 days, Mexico secured the border. She's playing politics right now, as expected, but I guarantee she'll eventually back down. The price increases you keep mentioning will impact their economy far more than ours, and she knows this. It's a negotiation tactic, and in the end, Trump will secure the border. She can't just give in or she'll appear weak. She has to play the political game, but I can guarantee they've already had discussions and are working on a deal. If you believe politicians are always transparent, you're being naive. They say one thing to the public while doing something completely different behind closed doors.
2024-11-26 0
Trump is about to get some lessons in how the country & the world has changed. He is gonna start off pissing of Mexico & Canada who've always been friends of the U.S .. how dumb & all over these ridiculous tariffs
2024-11-26 0
It doesn’t seem like they’ve done a lot, and at the end of the day Mexico will end up losing More. Don’t get tough with Trump Claudia , you’ll come to regret it, like they’ve all have.
2024-11-26 0
Americans don’t give a shi+ what the Mexican president says! They nor the Biden administration have done a damn thing to control the problems we’ve had with the border crossing. Stick it to them financially and they’ll cooperate! We’re fed up with Biden and his cronies. They should be tried and convicted for every crime these illegals have committed in our country! Sick ‘em President Trump ?
2024-11-26 0
This is why I’ve been saying for a long time that we should take Mexico
2024-11-26 0
They've done ALOT?????...More FAKE NEWS from CNN❗️
2024-11-26 0
Ok, label Mexico what it is, a Narco state and label the drug cartels terrorist organizations... see how she likes U.S. special forces operating in her country taking down the cartels.... we have played to nice with them over the last several decades while they've flooded our country with illegals and drugs.
2024-11-26 2
Hell yeah, Mexico. Heck, why stop there? Stop ALL trade with the U.S. while you're at it. For example, 3/4 tomatoes are imported from Mexico. The other 1/4th? Picked by immigrant workers. Let's have a tomato shortage! $15 per tomato. I'm all for this. I've got my shadenfreude popcorn in the microwave.
2024-11-26 0
Bullshit she've been helping. Trump do your thing.
2024-11-26 0
I've been working on these cases on the border for nearly 25 years. I've never seen it as slow as it is right now and it has been for the last year or so on the Texas border in the Western District. There are simply no new cases only a very few and anyone who works here in the federal court system knows this. This is Trump's effort to create a problem and then offer himself as the solution in order to manipulate people and obtain whatever ends they want to obtain such as project 2025. It's the Hegelian dialectic in action and enough people sell for it to put him back into office.

Thanks for this, Drew! I'm an American who's working on immigrating to Canada, primarily for school (I've maxxed out my financial aid here). This rundown of the similarities and differences was really helpful in giving me a feel for what to expect once I'm there!

1st thing on the list should've been pick a better country to go to, our country is falling apart at the seams and needs desperate help.

My husband and I are engineers from the US and Mexico and have lived in Germany for 15 years. Both speak fluent German and have raised three kids here. Yes, many people are racist. But if you learn the language well it’s not that hard to integrate and then things get much better. Germans can be the best friends you’ve ever had, much better than superficial Americans, but it can be hard to break through the shell. We have always loved it here. But to be honest with the steadily declining economy, massive scarcity in housing, and no salary increases in years, we are considering leaving as well. The outlook isn’t good for the Automotive industry and we could make double or triple the salary elsewhere. It would be very difficult to pull up our roots now gs better get better quick or we won’t stay much longer.

I've been trying to find a way to escape this country for almost 20 years! I was born here and there is no hope!!! Run while you can, there is no upside coming. It's only going to get worse here!!!

The funniest, most ignorant video I’ve come across, ever! ?\n\nSo Indians are bringing drugs, making white people drug addicts. Ousting them out of their houses and building parking lots there ?? man! Thanks for the laugh!

Unfortunately, I know several skilled workers with MScs and PhDs in STEM fields (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or Computer Science) who came to Canada not only to pursue their degrees but also to contribute to the country’s scientific and economic development. Many of these individuals, including myself, end up leaving. \n \nSome leave because of systemic issues in the PR system, which often prioritizes candidates with limited skills or questionable credentials over highly qualified individuals who have lived, studied, and worked in Canada for 5+ years. Others leave due to the high cost of living, challenges in accessing healthcare, or instability in the job market. \n \nThroughout my time in Canada, I’ve met genuinely kind and hardworking Canadians who are understandably frustrated with the current state of affairs. The policies implemented by this government have created significant challenges that may take years to resolve. Unfortunately, this risks leaving Canada with a workforce ill-equipped to meet future demands, while losing both talented Canadians and highly skilled immigrants who could have been integral to the country’s progress.

I knew something was wrong in our country when the charcuterie board I've been buying at SaveOnFoods for years went up $4 within about a year and a half lol (its 9.99 now).

I live in Toronto, and I've been doing the same just above minimum wage job for $17 per hour for 8 years.

Same to you. I'm an immigrant from Hong Kong and I've been trying to find a home outside of Canada since 2018.

sorry i cant imagine how you've made living from this channel, its my third video into it, and i find it very dislikeable, you monotone rumble about your opinion after you've stated it, you go defensive and find the need to qualify every statement you have as its is your personal private opinion and its not a fact, as though your viewers are dumb enough to believe you state facts that are universal when you talk about yourself, your presentation is bland. between your tone, your message and your boring selfie vlogging experience, i dont know what is the appeal, either way, good luck moving to EAST EUROPE, maybe you'll learn the meaning of corruption in politics, enjoy the excesses in price hikes that are born from the recent ukraine war, and the silly failures in basic living \ni'm sure you'll miss your overprivilaged life super quickly! :)\n\nPS. have you looked into what the youtube algorithm will do to the marketing of your channel to your current audience once your physical location change? you'll suddenly be only exposed to people who dont even speak this language, this will be really fun for you! as a 35 years old guy, i can tell you i havent heard about anyone who had their bubble burst so late in life, i hope you tell us what that feels like

I’ve been in this country for 50 years and don’t agree with this lady, she’s very selfish.
2024-11-20 0
We've had enough... I'm all for the ones that were here prior to Turdeau.. but all of the ones after can go home. No respect for my country and the hate is coming
2024-11-20 0
Dumbest bullshit I've heard in a long while. Why the hell would you want to deport the guys doing the hardest work? \n\nI've never lost a job or not bed hired for a job due to Mexicans. Leave them alone. Their food is the best, and they're just hard working people. Ugh

THESE PAST FEW YEARS, DON'T ASK ME WHY BUT I'VE RAGINGLY COME TO HATE WORDS SUCH AS DIVERSITY / MULTICULTURALISM....AM SAYING THIS AS A BLACK MAN FROM MAURITIUS WHO HAPPENS TO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA...THESE WORDS ARE SOOOOO HACKNEYED....THEY MEAN NOTHING AT ALL.....WE ALL HATE EACH OTHER AT THE END OF THE DAY !
