Trump has no clue what is going on in Columbia. This is going to backfire big time.

Are you guys aware that every time Trump talks about imposing a tariff, it's essentially a tax on the American consumer? So much for his famous tax cuts—LOL!

At one time no South American country would have dared defy a US president and risk invasion and regime change, now they all openly defy Trump with abandon since the rise of BRICS. Colombia has applied to join BRICS and these retaliatory tariffs will simply speed that up. Colombia stated quite clearly - we will not accept undocumented migrants who have done nothing wrong but work, pay their tax and behave as excellent members of US society - basically Trump try somewhere else to dump your unwanted workers. Americans' favourite Colombian coffees have just become 25% more expensive, millions of cups of Colombian coffee is drunk the US every week. \n\nTrump’s ridiculous comment about Jordan, Egypt and other Gulf countries taking Palestinians whilst Gaza is rebuilt is equally stupid; those countries cannot accept forcibly expelled, ethnically cleansed Gazans because that would be a War Crime and render those countries liable to be accused of complicity in a War Crime by the International Court of Justice; they would also incur the wrath of their respective populations and put their governments at risk of being overthrown. \n\nAll the surrounding countries and the International Community needs to do is to flood Gaza with thousands of tons of humanitarian aid and millions of large family-sized tents, as well as mobile toilets and washing facilities. Supply bulldozers and rubble removing machinery to clean the land up as quickly as possible, as well as bomb detection kits to protect the children. The Gazan people are incredibly resilient and will happily live in tents whilst their country is being rebuilt around them, and the State of Palestine begins to emerge again. \n??

For these slow people, let me explain how this works: tariffs work as a tax on poor people. First time in the White House, Trump put a 25% tariff on China goods. Dollar Tree, which imports from china usually to sell everything for a dollar had to pay 25 cents on a dollar in taxes to collect the goods from the ports. So it passed that tax to the prices. So went from everything $1 to everything $1.25. a 25% percent inflation. Then China stopped buying soybeans from USA. Farmers went broke and Trump have to give them 29 billion in handouts so they won’t go broke. Genius?

So if the c-17's are 3 times the cost of civilian airliners, just send them back on civilian airliners, what's the problem there? Seems an easy fix and I as a tax payer don't want to pay 3 times more when it can be done cheaper. I Thought Trump was a businessman and knew about economics? I guess he's not interested in keeping it cheaper for us citizens. Furthermore if he tariffs China we are all in big trouble.

It's not surprising that Trump doesn't want his grades from Wharton School of Business released because he was at the bottom of his class and he is a multiple times failed businessman who has had everything in his life handed to him on a silver platter. Trump doesn't understand the basic fact that tariffs are passed on to consumers and INCREASE prices, NOT decrease them.

It sucks I Donald Trump continues to create enemies with our neighbors. I don’t see this as a positive outcome at all because he might need our neighbors at some point in time and they’re not gonna be there to help us. I earned my permanent resident status back in 2001 and joined US ARMY during war in terror and served for 8 years. While serving, I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in the middle of hot zones, dodging grim reaper's radar for many, many times. When I finally earned my US citizenship through military, I seamlessly transitioned into law enforcement career in New York for past 10 years, which I encountered with many illegal criminals with rap sheets- which some makes you think why they are still wondering in the street instead of locked up in the jail, having their freedom taken away. What is funny is that many of these illegal criminals have such an entitled mindset that they are deserve to be here in US without permit do whatever they want and enjoying these unbelievable benefits that these sanctuary city/state provides that we, us citizens don't even get- and we are paying for it with our hard earned money. I think I earned my citizenship with blood and sweat, same goes to many immigrant hopefuls that came to U.S with true American dream. It is time to take back our country and I 100% support with Trump's decision on this.

I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.
