So Trump Will now take the money from its citizens (25% tarif) , to fill in the budget deficit... LoL and maga people think they are not paying

Just think of all the economic interconnections that are at risk of being broken. Years of supply chain organization and logistics in jeopardy. The federal leadership is getting increasingly erratic. The automotive industry alone is so integrated. Biden and Trump have both been awful. What is the endgame? Recession. Buy sovereign bonds. Stop buying stuff.

Honestly everyone is to blame. Canada and Mexico have both been riding the American gravy train for decades and never got slapped by any of the former presidents. And now that a president who puts the US first comes along everyone acts like America and our president is in the wrong. Just because something wrong was allowed to happen for so long that doesn't mean it was right. So two things these tariffs will do to Canada. One your economy isn't exactly stellar right now. Two Trump just has to pump up the pressure further and Canada will fold. It's that simple. As for Mexico they are squarely attached to America's teet. They need us WAY more than we need them. They will fold. And during negotiations we will make them ok US military operations on the Cartels. All people see is the word tariffs and don't think about the strategy behind them. Tariffs are a tool to apply pressure and gain leverage. Canada and Mexico would do the same if they could. So lets stop with the pearl clutching.

Critics thinking that there is no strategy behind these Trumps tariffs are living in a hole. He is surrounded by very smart successful people.

Trump's rationale of the border security issue to Canada is totally false as less than 1 percent of drugs and illegals come through Canada. Trump is just being a bully to try to get his way on tariffs for what he thinks is an economic decision to improve the USA. Unfortunately he is again wrong as Americans and Canadians will pay a lot more for goods and Trump will cause more inflation, ruin companies and many job losses across both nations.

Can it be that the dumb Trump voters think the foreign countries would pay those tariffs to the US?

For a start I'm thinking of all that farmland in CA that will have water and a good reason to grow crops now because of Trump and the increase of jobs when we have to make our own stuff.\n However, I am in favor of letting Canada sell their goods in China or Russia since that is likely where all the fentanyl and illegal immigrants are coming from and I know 1% doesn't sound big when DW says it but with an estimated 15 million illegal immigrants in America from the Biden admin alone that would be 150,000 from Canada.

Why would anyone want to go to a country where they have to continue to hide and live in fear? Its a great deterrent for those who still plan to come to the US illegally. Its better than the previous administration telling illegal to come and we will feed, cloth, and take care of your with health care at the expense are tax payer money. I hate Trump and everything he stands for but transgenders serving openly are contrary to the principle of good order and discipline. No matter what people think transgenders are not respected by their subordinates and there has to be respect to be an effective leader. In this man's case he flies as a crew of 1 and possibly 2 so he doesn't require respect from his subordinates but a frontline combat officer leading a company would get zero respect and would probably get fragged. The standards have to be the same across all branches and all jobs and that's not possible. The military is mostly populated with southern and mid western men and they will never accept this so as a veteran I support this move to ban them. I would also like to see the standards restored in regards to fat heterosexuals too. There's nothing that says lack of discipline like a fat soldier whose buttons on his BDU shirt are about to pop and they can't see their toes.

There is no room in the military for this BS. I served 10 years and this BS is nothing more than a huge distraction. You have people who were going in just to get the operations. They spend 4 years in the military changing gender on tax payers dime. Out of the whole 4 years they may be deployable for about 6 months and that ain't all at the same time. When I was in this stuff was not an issue! As someone who has done the immigration process legally, and know of people who have done it legally, I think it’s unfair that these illegal migrants can just come while I and those who done the process right had to pay a lot of money and wait a long time.
