This started Friday in Brazil ?? when the interior minister with police and media boarded a US plane refueling in a Brazilian city carrying returning Brazilian migrants. The police acted surprised when they discovered the migrants were all handcuffed and leg ironed. They were removed, fed, showered and returned home by Brazil.\nThis was big news throughout the Latin countries.\nThe Colombian President would not accept his civilians being treating as criminals. Colombia ?? sent a plane to pick up their citizens without the mechanical restraints.\nColombia has now imposed a 50% tariff on all American products and seeking other countries to partner with, in effect shutting out the US. This is gonna be so good for china’s ?? economy

Colombia was prepared to accept repatriation of its citizens, but only on civilian flights and without the people manacled. But Trump & Rubio wanted to use the military. And this trade war is the result. Maybe calmer heads will prevail in the next few days, otherwise coffee & corn prices are going to skyrocket...

This is what the Dems don't understand about tariffs -- they are a negotiating tool, Trump is using tariffs as a leverage. They're not meant to be permanent. They don't even have to go into effect at all. Just the threat of tariffs is often enough. Colombia can't survive without the US as a major trading partner. Tariffs would kill them. So, they quickly changed their tune. Which is why the Colombian President 'Gustavo Petro' has already folded to Trump and has reversed his decision to allow 2 military transport planes to land there after being threaten with tariffs, serious sanctions etc. Like him or not, Trump understands how to negotiate.

It is not a crime to be undocumented in the US. If said individuals were criminals like rapists and murderers then they should stand trial and pay for their crimes in the US or they can be pardoned through a presidential pardon and released to their home county via proper protocols and not dumped in military panes without permission for military planes to fly in or through such countries. If the country refuses to accept them then it is your fault for releasing such criminals into society. Cuba was under sanctions for many years and they never broke. BRICS will break any US sanctions and leave the US isolated. All it takes is for people to wait for four years.
