Being a skilled immigrant in Germany is almost a scam program. You will never get to the point where you feel part of the community. Incomes are decreasing due to economic crisis and the salaries are stagnated, it is impossible to navigate all the burocracy craziness and bad mood/ attitude from people in public service sectors... Companies still treating their employees as if Germany didn't have a huge shortage of workers. It's barely impossible to find a place to live that normal working people can afford. ...

For some history: The previous two governments only hit 20-25% of their stated immigration goals, and were heavily criticized by the provincial governments and business community for it. The current government actually achieved the immigration targets that business and the provinces were demanding. Most of the provincial governments are boasting about how much their populations have grown, and are taking credit for it, but blaming the federal government for the problems the increased population has caused. It is the provinces that have failed to grow health care, education and other services to match the increased population that they asked for, and it is the provinces that haven't increased minimum wages to match the increased cost of living, and it is the provinces that are responsible for housing.

It is obvious the Indians want to get out of India, a country over populated lack of opportunities , and the few that can breakthrough the mountain of bureaucracy just in order to get a visa to come to Canada or the United States and once they are in Canada, they go underground and get lost in their community which they start working with slavery wages and that is what happened here in Canada and Trudeau has damaged the image of Canada worldwide

Government should have focused more on loopholes, for instance, a visitor converting his visa into work permit, contract marriages, and entering into the country, on the basis of spouse visa, no basic sense, getting permanent residence card to useless people, instead of hard working students, who are contributing tot he Canadian economy, government failed to take actions becomes of community or ethnicity politics. However, finally, they woke up today with this move.

Now anyone with a pre- degree pass and without any skill or special\nqualification can freely go aboard under the cover of higher education but with the sole aim of immi -\ngration or getting a PR. For this, they have to raise bank loans at big interests and mortgaging their dwelling houses,. To get a student visa and to pay the school fees etc the money the agents are \nin the range of Rs 50 - 60 lakhs. The increase in the student immigrants population in the host countries was so unprecedented and so enormous that they heavily impacted on their economy and made considerable strain in the housing, supply and employment sectors and it in turn has developed local resentment and raised anger and\nanimosity against the immigrants. This calls for urgent review by the governments on the present policy of unrestricted export of student community abroad.

These western countries need immigrants to stay competitive with their peers. Now if Canada isn't able to keep up with this, it shows a systemic flaw in their governance. They welcomed many people without first tightening the laws around the immigration & the immigrants they welcomed and now is throwing them under the bus. Maybe this is an eye washing policy for the elections, but still, now they will have managed to piss off the immigrant communities.

Every ethnic group in North America have been through this. The Greek community faced a pogrom in canada and many were killed, just bcos a Greek restaurant owner refused services to an ex serviceman. As an immigrant from the EU, I've lived in Germany for six years and have only experienced racism once, at a club entrance. Ironically, I faced more racism in my own country during elementary school. In contrast, I've never encountered any discrimination in my job, studies, or social interactions here. Germans from various backgrounds, including dorms, sports teams, and university, have welcomed me to their gatherings. I'm a person of color and speak imperfect German, yet I've been treated with kindness and respect.\n\nGermany has offered me free education and incredible opportunities in industry and research. While I'm not wealthy, my quality of life is significantly better than it was in my home country, with plenty of room for improvement. I'm grateful for these opportunities and willing to contribute to the community. My advice is simple: be thankful for what you have, try your best, and if you're not a good fit, consider moving elsewhere and express your gratitude. It's that straightforward.

Agreed it's nothing about immigrants, but when don't assimilate and don't learn English and bring their problems (e.g. family honour killings) and create segregated communities (e.g. Asian-ification of Highway 7 in Markham) - then yeah we feel like strangers in our own land we don't recognize anymore.

The Indian community in UAE are smart, well respected and highly professional in dealings with other expats and host country, they are the best representation of incredible India! This totally the opposite from Indians in Brampton specially those international students.

In my last 6 months here, Me and my Family had a very positive experience meeting supportive and friendly people. Specially my daughter was really happy and quickly integrated with the support of very precise education system. However, language remains the main barrier to us on integrating fully. Yes ,as an immigrants, it's essential to learn the language to truly become part of the culture and community, but it's challenging to achieve this in a short period. even it says short of Skill employees , Professionals like me who had a successful career back home makes its really difficult to find a job due to language barrier. I wish there were a proper mechanism to help candidates like us find jobs while we learn the language, We are eager to work, earn, and contribute to the economy.

The title of the video, “Canadian government halts deportation of bisexual man to Kenya”. It is said in the video, “after exhausting all possible options, a local migrant and a member of the 2s LGBTQ COMMUNITY was just hours away from being forced to leave Canada and set to face possible dangers in Kenya, but an 11th hour miracle happened…” \nCould anyone explain whether this means that this is the only person who has been facing deportation and who would be set to face possible dangers or does this mean that, from all people who have been facing deportation and who would be set to face possible dangers, this person is chosen because he is a bisexual man? Does it mean that the only reason why “Canadian government halts deportation” is because this man is a member of the LGBTQ COMMUNITY, and, if so, does it mean that, from all categories of protected or vulnerable persons, Canadian government makes exceptions only for members of the LGBTQ COMMUNITY? Could this happen that, in all other vital areas of life, Canadian government treats members of the LGBTQ COMMUNITY as being more important than members of all vulnerable groups of persons?

Weather he would be persecuted or not ( I tend to believe he would) this guy seems to be a contributing, working, engaged and loved member of his community. Not violent or a criminal. If he's gone through proper channels to attempt to stay I support him.

This man crossed through several countries before arriving in North America. By law he should be deported to one of those countries where he changed planes or travelled through. I have friends from india they did there best to integrate and have similar values to other canadians. Indian food is my favorite but too many people come here and dont want to adapt or adopt canadian values they stay in the community they are most fammilar with and retain values that arent in line with canadian values if you plan on living here get to know the locals and we will treat you well canadas a melting pot come chill with us we got good cocaine and shit

A more interesting and fair report would have interviewed the people living in working class areas in the host countries in the EU who are seeing the safety of their communities change drastically as a consequence of this illegal immigration which is supposedly meant to prop their economy up.

You are just getting old. Welcome to the Club. Change is constant good or bad; When you start getting older you start to resist change and see it as a treat...you long for stability, consistency and familiarity; You'll get use to it. My friends moved to Canada from South Africa. They couldn't take it. The one sister lasted 1 year and the other 2 years. They came back and said that giving up community and culture for money and safety was not worth it. And that the people in Canada seemed very sad and depressed.

TEN THOUSAND to go to a commercial drivers (truck driver) school in Canada? Can someone from Can confirm that? In the US at a community college it would cost about 1-3K. You can also get some Gov Grants to attend truck driving (CDL) community college? It cant be 10K?

Indians creating quick access to permanent resident schemes in Canada is an issue.\n\nStill, so much of the population earns under $50k where they cost the govt more than they contribute. There isn’t enough housing for all Canadians excluding all temporary students. \n\nThe problem is that to be “nice” and hand out PR is political suicide for the liberals because all Canada felt this impact.
