Working in immigration law in Canada, it’s really sad that these people don’t understand the basic information about emigrating or migrating on asylum is scary. Canada is not that different from the US....they don’t really care about these people. People who come as students or temporary workers have a way better chance of obtaining residency then just showing up in desperation.

It seems countries who are accepting illegal, wealthy immigrants, are desperately needed for financial reasons. Meanwhile, those who are legally applicants are waiting for ten, twelve years to enter Canada. This is a huge farce in Canada.

Okay. A lot of people here have no clue how the immigration system works both in the US and in Canada. “He should just have come here legally”. Well, most of the time a legal path to emigrating to the US/Canada just does not exist, and its getting more and more impossible to be granted asylum. In the US you can’t just apply for a work visa, you can’t just apply for a green card. You got to be eligible to apply for it. For a work visa you need a job offer first, you need proof of income and most of the time the employer will have to prove they couldn’t find an American to take the position. To get a green card you either have to get married to an American, invest at least $500,000 or try applying for asylum (which is almost impossible to get nowadays). ALSO to apply for asylum you need to be either inside the US or at a US port of entry. Try to be less “patriotic” and more empathetic. People flee their countries because of war, violence, cartels, gangs, terrorism, etc. They are desperate and want to protect their families and have a better life. If you were in their shoes and staying in your home country put your family in great harm you would have done the same thing. People need to stop judging, stop being selfish and start leading with empathy.

We have alot of temporary foreign workers here in Canada, now that the jobs have all been takened up by Philipinos, has the Govt thought well Gee maybe we should stop bringing low educated people over and give the jobs to the people that live here? What you say people dont want to do low end jobs? well now that citizens are desperate to work they will do any job.

Ask yourself this, they all come from different countries, they all end up in different countries and yet they all say the same thing, at almost the same time? Its a worldwide movement. Lebanon also used to accept refugees. And they are applying the same proven formula this time.\n\nI had seen a video before about someone saying they started this worldwide plan somewhere around 1995, but i had forgotten which video it was already.\n\nAll non-islamic countries should come together secretly and derive a once and for all plan. And the fact that they had all this money and I’m guessing the wife has free time to self care and watch the kids she could’ve atleast learned to speak English. They don’t seem to be in desperate need!! These are the typical CENTRAL AMERICAN. They seek asylum but yet have money to wear and buy things ‘poor people’ can’t afford. The lady is plumped with her dyed and make up done while the kids are fashionable and look at the car. It’s not new but that vehicle kills gas like crazy. So no!!! I don’t feel bad!

Trudeau can't be reelected simply for his personal safety. Canadians have been desperately looking forward to 2019 that could not coming earlier. If Canadians missed 2019, just imagine the hopeless and devastated people can do whatever to overthrow. ..

The USA... wealthiest nation on the earth would prefer to not allow migrants into their county. You could afford to open up your country but are fearful of the financial burden and I have seen some Americans question why these illegals are getting free food and education on our dime. Consider an investment in your future. In 50 years the amount of money spent on these migrants fleeing from desperate situations is a paltry sum Mr Scrooge. BUT if one of those people makes a dramatic difference to your country then think how far ahead you will be. \nThe alternative is to send back the refugees or illegals and wish them well.
