This video is horrible. I don't know what political angle is, but the real problems are very well known and have nothing to do with what you said. First, housing is incredibly difficult to build in Canada because of regulations and land title problems, I.e., you don't own that land, the indians do. On top of that, there is a constant influx of immigrant that require housing that doesn't exist. Children cry because they cannot leave their parents' houses because they can't move anywhere, so they can't find any jobs locally, and they're trapped. There is no will in the canadian government to change these immigration policies, to change the land rules so that people can own land and build houses, or do anything about their incredibly micro managed economy that makes it impossible to do anything. If so, yeah, they go to the US to have a future while Canada stagnants and dies.

You said there's no reason that people would pick Canada over the US but given the current political and sociological climate in the United States that's not true anymore.\n\nPeople want access to healthcare, paid parental leave, a social fabric that isn't toxic, access to women's healthcare, lack of gun violence, consumer protections etc.\n\nJust like many Europeans won't leave Europe for the US, many Canadians won't either, especially now.

Its population is essentially present in an area that resembles the shape of Chile, leaving the majority of the nation extremely underdeveloped. These infrastructure issues are the kinds of things you hear about when discussing the DRC etc. Whatever one may say about the huge problems with Russia's infrastructure, AT LEAST they have developed those more remote areas and have settled population centers in some of the most difficult climatic environments on Earth

The difference between Canada and Spain is that they don’t have a sovereign currency. With debt dominated in the Euro they couldn’t as easily print their way out of the problem. This video and these comments are so shocking and depressing. 10 years ago, people still widely praised and raved about Canada and it was a leading country in healthcare and standard of living. Now people are saying the complete opposite and saying it's in a terrible state. I know countries have their downfall at some point, but Canada, of all places, having a really horrendous \n economical crisis is so hard to grasp.

My experience as a Canadian as we keep personal political, religious, racist beliefs to ourselves. Americans I found tend to bond to people based on these personal beliefs all too much. Love the diverse culture I live within in Canada. Should review the data on shootings in educational institutions in the US , you might be surprised how many days in a year these shootings do occur.
