These dudes thought they are entitled. We don't need 50 Indians working in one mcD branch

Personally I don’t care if they have problems. They can take pay cuts or shut down if the business model doesn’t work. We can’t let these institutions damage communities by flooding them with people that they can’t house and are taking housing from working Canadians. These are the people the universities depend on to keep the lights on, the water flowing, the streets cleared and many many other things. Price them out of the housing market and they will go elsewhere and when the university needs a tradesman they won’t be able to get one. With the lights out and the pipes plugged the place won’t appeal to any students and they will go home.

We need to take advantage to them as much as possible so stop putting caps on, work amount etc lol

Iam from India and there is no less for Indian youths to become successfull in our country....lakhs of college seats are empty....huge pottential for work and business opportunities are flourishing....they are just running like nomads to other countries thinking they can buy a bmw if they reach some European countries.....respect for the European who is scolding this guy....send them back india need our youth back...

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. So just thought I'd give you that angle. I understand you're doing it from your culture's perspective mostly but you're missing a whole bunch of information. As a Chinese immigrant, I have to say that Canada needs to evaluate the quality of new immigrants. For the past 20years, large amount of Chinese immigrated to Canada, 50% of them are wealthy, and brought millions billions of dollars to Canada, especially a lot of rich students who are willing to consume and pay taxes. The other 50% are not that wealthy, but they are working hard while not breaking the rules. Most importantly, they don’t take shit on the beach, and they are afraid to break laws!

As a Canadian the sooner they leave the better their culture is destroying ours I don't want them I don't like them I don't want to see them just by doing what they're doing you can tell they're going to be a problem ship the problem back to work came from we don't need it

The reason they don't want to speak is because they can't speak English. Their command of the language is so poor yet they want to stay in Canada. Majority came through the student visa route as a means to get a work permit. They are abusing our system. These people must be sent home asap and our immigration system must be changed. Immigration agents who make promises they can't keep must have their licences revoked. We don't need anymore Tim Horton's workers. Tim Horton's and alike should invest in tech that allows for a less labor intensive option. Our govt. is either too blind or pandering to their corporate donors to the detriment of Canadians. Our youth unemployment rate is running at over 14% and yet the govt. issues these foreigners work permits. Disgusting.

I don't like the idea of sending back anyone who is here, working daily, following Canadian laws, and paying into the tax system.. these are productive people.\nHowever, the intake stream needs to be cut back. We failed to build the infrastructure to support a larger population. So until infrastructure (housing, roads, police, fire, medical, electrical, sewage, etc..) is built out to accommodate 41 million people properly, we can't take in more.\n\nThis failure is entirely government created. Red tape and the inability to build anything anywhere is the fault of municipal, provincial and federal governments. And this inability to build anything anywhere also ruins Canada's productivity and ability to attract new industry (jobs) and investment (jobs). Government is failing Canadians. Immigrants and the Canadian poor are just the lowest victims on the ladder, and the first and most heavily impacted.

I don't know the reason as an outsider why the USA government has let all the illegals in to this country I never will, but at a guess one of the reasons might be because a lot of the Americans are on drugs right now and can't work, so they still need workers in the factories to keep the place going so they just employ cheap labour from other countries to take the place of people that can't work not to help the people of the USA to keep the country going.

Canada needs to immediately tax them an additional 40% from the paychecks of all temporary non permanent foreign workers and international students who are currently working in Canada. Taxing the people who are non Canadian residents wirking in Canada with a much higher tax rate than is taxed on Canadian Citizens is a solution for Canada to make money to support rising numbers of unemployed Canadian born citizens.

Immigration Canada needs to surround the GTA slowly working their way in checking everybody's permanent residency and anyone who does not have it is removed with prejudice. Why do I have to compete for jobs and working hours with citizens of India? I have a friend who works at walmart, she is Canadian and they only give her part time hours, the manager is Indian and gives priority of working hours to some one who has a work permit and has been in the country for less than 5 months. They are not a citizen or PR, we dont owe them any thing, they are no longer needed and should be sent back, and if they protest should be deported, protesting is a citizens right.

Canada is not taking advantage of population increase. See in another perspective, if Canada improves their high speed trains and buses, more people will visit more places, dying mining cities will revive etc. If you can reach within one to two hours from far cities, people working in Toronto will look for far places to live. Regarding Brampton, our councillors don't know what is needed for this City. Go and check Kennedy Road from Queen Street to Steel. There is no development. No university in Brampton. Easy to complain. But there is lot development needed in Brampton.

I have been trying for years to get Liberals to help bring in young Temporary Foreign Workers for Togolese who I know personally. All i get is a run-around and no results. We need so many workers everywhere and yet the process is not functioning. \nWhy can’t we get proper help to make this work?

Those from India are like any other immigrants. They're trying to find their way in a new society with different customs and rules. My parents came here in the 50’s from Italy and were discriminated against in the same ways. As first-generation Canadians, my brother and I were discriminated against because of our heritage in school and then in our chosen careers.\n\nIn general, Indians are hard-working, well-educated, English-speaking and entrepreneurial. In general Indians benefit Canadian society.\n\nI became friends and eventually best friends with my neighbour from Punjab. He came here with nothing and became an educator for children with special needs. He had two master's degrees. One from McGill University and one from Cambridge. He was involved in our community at many levels. We spent most evenings discussing life, and society issues and even worked together on a campaign of one of our local councillors and won. He had a positive impact on all who knew him. Unfortunately, he passed in 2012. RIP Rupinder Jeji. You are dearly missed.

Spouses of international students should not be allowed to work here and international students should not be allowed to work more than 20 hrs. International students who are here for only a one year program like MED should not be given work permit now are permitted for PR. They won’t continue in teaching as they are not skilled to teach kids here. They perceive other professions they are using the program only to get PR. They are coming here not o study but to stay here.They are even using food banks when Canadians who are in need are struggling for food here.

Not so acurate information. During the college time students can work only 20h/week. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). After I graduated I became supervisor. \n\nSome people complain about students and immigrants getting the jobs, but what I’ve seen was a lot of people complaining EVERY DAY about their jobs, about their lives, etc…but doing absolutely nothing to change it.\n\nI got here as a student, I became immigrant, I worked as a cleaner, I graduated at college.after 2y working full time I got the permanent residence, and I was back to school. \nI got a Master’s degree at McMaster University, and now I am a manager in a big hospital. \nImmigrants taking the jobs??? My wife is from Europe, she worked hard to come here and did it the right way. \n\nNothing wrong with going back to India after your studies and applying the right way like everyone else does. \n\nMy beautiful wife spent every last penny she had but made a great life here. \n\nI know what my wife went through and it’s the way it needs to be.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Indians aren’t the only problem. A Ukrainian family of 2 adults 2 children was receiving $9000 from the Canadian government in assistance . Meanwhile, If a Canadian owes $10 in taxes, the government is coming after you and will charge you interest. The entire immigration/ student , work visa , refugee program needs to be reviewed. Changes need to be made with quotas drastically reduced.. Laws need updating. I’m not saying we don’t help people escaping drastic situations, but we can’t be a free for all society. Don’t forget that Canadians don’t want to have children anymore. So without immigration, canadas population will eventually fall to zero. Canada is a relatively empty country. If our governments were smart we could have the largest housing construction and business development program in the history of the world. There is no shortage of land in Canada, but we aren’t building houses because of incompetent politicians . Immigration creates jobs by increasing aggregate demand, but the country cannot absorb this many in such a short time.

I recently worked in a fast food restaurant owned by a foreign national, to begin with there was about a half and half mix between the foreign students and Canadians, it was well run, nice place to work and we pretty much got along, suddenly the owner started advertising for help only in his own language newspaper, as the usual turnover took place all the new hires were of his nationality, students who were limited to 20 hours per week wound up working more hours than the full time workers which in my books left me wondering how much studying they were getting in, Covid hit, I asked the boss if he was going to sign up for getting us paid instead of laying us off, he said he wasn't eligible for that program and laid us off, after he laid us off he applied for and got on the program, suddenly names the Canadian supervisor had never seen working for us appeared on the payroll and mysteriously when we got back to normal and got called back they never did appear in our restaurant. I'm not a racist, have always loved working with other nationalities, but rules are there for a reason and need to be enforced, a lot of folks are taking advantage of our lax enforcement.
