Now it’s time to explore our own destinations for tour , despite of applying visa and strengthening their economy let’s strength our own economy by touring our own country .

At the same time getting Indian visa is also not so easy. Ranking may also depend on number of tourists who want to visit. Indians these days in far reaching in numbers due to the middle class economic upliftment. It is not that India is equated with tiny unknown countries.\nNext as far as the visa rejections are concerned very few student visas and work visas are rejected. So educated lot are not rejected. Most of the rejected visas could be tourist visas, who want to go there in disguise of tourists who actually propose to go as domestic or business helpers. Of course the visa fee is high. That could be discouraging point for many who want to go for just earning and also a source of income for those governments to compensate wages to be paid to their white workers to handle umteen number of applications.

Stop acting like you don’t know Ms Sharma, visas for Indians are rejected mainly because when you apply for a tourist visa, most of the time you are not really visiting that country. You have plans to settle there. Many people do go to these countries as tourists but they know very well who seems like a tourist and who doesn’t.

Good. Just focus on your work in your home country instead of wasting time traveling abroad to show off. Most Indians go overseas just to brag, while only a few are genuinely hardworking Indians who go abroad to support their families.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

The government must do something about the movements of its people. I guess it's time for reciprocal visa arrangement with every country. India must leverage itseconomic status as the fifth in the world. It's time to stand up against those countries belittling other nations.

Yes it’s time for equal request as you can see this ranking is nothing but strong arming us to keep us down. Indian news, and particularly your commentaries, are just nationalistic rants. You need to speak the truth and explain the real reasons why Indians have a hard time getting visas for Western and developed countries. The largest number of illegal immigrants in the US, Canada and Western Europe are Indians. Many Indians have no intention of returning to India. Indians should drop these countries as a travel destination. The amount they are wasting is visa application, in the same amount they will get thousand times better experience in royal India.

So you seem to be blaming the Country denying Indians a visa. Break down the rejections. Indians like any other third world country are known to use these avenues to escape from India. Don't blame the countries for taking time to assess. Blame the Indian society/economics that is forcing people to exit the country. See what can be done to fix that first, so that people don't want to exit your motherland first.

Palki you are not looking at the really core issue instead you are blaming other countries or governments. Don't be biased because of Indians. Look at why they are being rejected. Lot of Indians do not leave even the visa expires and illegal entry. Every country has a right to protect their country and people from outsiders.\n\nMost of the time Palki views are very biased. Palki ji, The elephant in the room is the folks who go on visitor visa, and then don’t come back to their home country. They have been miss using this for a long time & now causing problem for innocent ones.

Well said! I hope our Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes note. It's high time India earns global respect, particularly from the UK, USA and EU. Offering arrival visas to income tax filers could be a game-changer and a start to that direction and will motivating more people to file returns to get that pride status. Currently, only 3% of Indians file tax returns, whereas at least 10% should. This initiative would benefit India and provide developed countries with a better filtering process.

It's time people stopped crossing borders. It's causing uneasiness across the globe especially by Hindians and Mueslis. It's causing upheavals in society in the intended destinations. South African here, we feel your pain. Namibia is introducing a reciprocal visa policy. Perhaps it's time the BRICS countries do the same.

Im on green card in usa and genuinely i want to take my mom to other countries as a tourist but she got 6 times reject for US, one time canda and one time europe but i was able to make one trip with her to china. \nNot sure it just a skin color or anything else ?

This may be a blessing in disguise to India . I say this not to bring any offence as visa denials are highly prevalent, not only in Canada but in other countries as well. The positive side to this Palki is that India will not suffer brain drain for this season until a new season of visas is granted. I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

enough going abroad to make other countries great..its time to get things right here in our home.. just what we need is some political wisdom to reduce red tapes and part of the capital investment for start ups from the govt (like what china has done)..

Plain and simple, Indians brainwashed about holding citizenships abroad whereas the reality of those of us who are with foreign visas, realize it is just hype. We Indians are succors. Best advice is never ever believe touts, media or friends that it is greener in the West. Go on a short work contract not take a loan or sell up and leave. One of the family memvers may end up with a part time or casual or a fixed contract job. These Western countries are unlike job visas to the Gulf so be very careful before making a move in hope of a better life.

Fix our country, why immigrate to other countries? This cannot go on forever. There will be a time when this will back fire.

US rejected my VISA 3 times on same cause I don't have social connection with my country of origin and before reach I need to deposit 350 usd for Homeland Security.

Now, washerman brings another person from his country for the same job. This time price of the service is 1 dollar and both collectively sends 1 dollar from their earnings to their own country. This cycle continues for 10 times. Now, the room has 80 dollar left. \nOne more worker left the room while cobbler became homeless. \n\nNow you know why America is destined to fail.

One time, I went on 1 day business trip to Canada ( i have American Citizenship, but born in Europe). Good Lord, I was asked so many ridiculous questions, and most were related to my former old country!!! Absolutely total idiotic nonsense!! There are other places you know they are international students you are supposed to come to study then. Leave . Most people that come to study in Canada from different countries they leave after graduation. You can even check the m number of people from different countries that leave and most do only people from\nIndia so leave . Canada is not all that great it’s good most of the time high taxes . . Time for Immigration officers, CBSA to get ready to be deployed and start sifting through immigration papers for those who have overstayed their students visas and work permits. REPATRIATION-return of person to their country of origin.

Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. The East indians knew that if they boarded their flight to the US they would get sent back to the UK and hence India so they decided to illegally cross our border. Canada could not have prevented this. But now that we know this is what they need to do , we along with the Americans should step up our security. They could be terrorists. For decades we lived with a non secure border now foreigners are fuc**ng with our safety. India take some responsibility. You boast on the world stage and scold others, well what do you have to say now.
