So, step one, destroy relationships with friends. Step two, buddy up to Putin and other dictatorships who will be glad to trade and associate with us even if we do run concentration camps or whatever.\nOr Trump is sucking Putin's butt again for mysterious reasons. He likes it so much, like a drug addict, he is willing to lose everything . If it were just a matter of his individual tastes, I don't get it, but none of my business. Except by dragging the whole country down for his kink, it is out business. So, I think we should cut Trump lose to go to Russia and run around on his knees chasing Putin as much as he likes. Meanwhile, we need a president and I can only say F-no to Vance and I don't know how many other dictator butt goblins in the line of succession, so, since Trudeau is going to be looking for work, lets make and exception and hire him for president. I'd much rather have one with a pro-Canada bias than one one who seems to think he is Putin's Elon Musk.

Trump said Zelensky was trying to push ww3 and he wasnt wrong. Zalensky is using his donars as attack dogs to make threats. Think about that! I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? We Americans are in the process of losing so much due to Trump. In my case, my Social Security and at age 72, I am terribly frightened. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. Trump is good a being president in many ways because he is a business man, not a politician, but in business it's about dominating the market place and your competition, bending them to your will if you can, but when you are president, you need to keep alliances with other countries, not dominate over them, otherwise you weaken your position on the world stage. When you are at the top with the biggest economy, army, you don't need to beat down those with less, you need to keep them on your side so their strength adds to your own, which is why you are at the top. Even a mafia boss won't beat down those under him, unless he wants war, and lose his position as others form alliances to take over top position as no powerful person, president, country wants to be beaten down into submission by anyone, so they create other alliances to match or overtake those at the top. In this case, Trump needs to play the politician or weaken his position, and China will be loving this as they are next in line.

Remember that all of this came from the fact that Trump believes that a trade deficit means we lose out when we are a heavily consumerist country. This is going to be a very interesting wake up call when the realization that most of our manufacturing requires outside materials.

Reading as much as I could of the comments below, it is with great respect that we as human can still care for one another even when we are from different countries, continents, backgrounds an so one. As far as alcohol exports Canada exports over 600 million dollars to the us while the us exports 255 million to Canada. Both countries lose. But this does highlight the trade deficit between the two countries. 63 billion dollar trade deficit with canada is enormous. I don't know what the solution is, but i know this will be painful for all.
