I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Some of us lash out at people that do not deserve it when we are really upset. That doesn’t make it ok. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. This is really not our normal behaviour. We’re are all stressed out and being called the bad guys by our own government just exacerbates the whole issue. Again, cheers to you all!!!

I am Global Trends. I monitor the world and trends that are happening. You're not alone in Canada. Are whole world is in chaos. Since covid, the middle class in the USA sunk into poverty. And it is middle class that pays the taxes in our country. People lost jobs, migrated back to homes they grew up in. They took all the apartments and started remote jobs. The USA has inflation. Rent has gone up, food costs, gas, medication. That's all we can afford. So more people out on the streets. At this time, there is a world wide immigrate problem causing more homelessness. We faced over millions from Mexico and NYC got immigrants from all over the world. The city is trashed. Ohio got thousands of Hattis people. Europe has immigrants from Africa and Asia. Our country and other countries have absolutely no infrastructure and funds to support these people. Ohio is asking for government assistance. The solution now is strict immigration laws and border laws. Everyone that is not a USA citizen must be sent back to their country. Visa cards. Passports. Hungary has the top security system (google) to keep immigrants out of the country. Worse. Thief and crime have skyrocketed! Everyone in NYC are robbing anyone they see and stores are\nclosing. They don't get arrested because anything under $1000 is not a criminal offense. The USA needs to get a grip! These people are asking for handouts, which means the USA poor will not get benefits. It is not just Canada. USA people are getting out of the cities! This is a world wide crisis. Say your prayers. We really need a savior to show up!

Stop allowing corruption on pricing. Why was these charges allowed to start. Like liberals making Canada soly reliant on liberal handouts that have ballooned our debt. Liberals give money to people who can’t afford houses does not make houses more affordable but the opposite. Creat laws and actions to bring houses prices down not handouts like liberals have done for baby’s and now we have more immigrants having kids than Canadians cause Canadian know we can’t afford 2 , 3 kids but others want the baby bonuses plus a employment plus wage subsidy etc that’s why the working people paying 40% of n are become taxes in top of the 3 times tax on fuel and groceries to pay for the lazy and ones who suck the system dry. Canada has lowest gdp production in last 9 plus querters, most protest for wage increases in 40years, most work related strikes to do affordability. Liberals just raised bc minimum wage to 20$ ask yourself how many coffees have to be sold to cover wage so expect simple coffee to cost over 3$ hahaha let’s not even talk about food fuel and energy cost

Myself working and living in Germany since last 3 years as a blue card holder IT professional. To this date, I have made 0 contacts in germany, making friends here is a far fetched dream. People just don't even look at a stranger person of colour. To them, we are auslanders who are not fit to integrate in their so called german culture. The housing crunch and slow lathargic medical system makes Germany even less attractive. The government needs to understand that not everyone from different parts of the world can learn German. The IT professionals don't get enough time to even look after their health during day to day office activities, on top of it, they are asked to learn german post office hours. Its too much for me.

Please make videos on corruption. All major cities are water logged. Our air quality is far worse than western countries. How can India get better when our whole system is so bad and unfair towards poor. No wonder so many are leaving India forever as they’re tired of system and have no power to change or do anything. The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

An average Canadian make $2200 to $2500 per month if they work @minimum wage, which is below the poverty line in canada again you can research about it if don't believe me. Teenagers ko paise ni count karna ata agar kisi ko paise dene b pad jaye... 15 16 year old kids ask their parents how to pay and how much cash they need to pay, Canada is Not at all good education wise. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). To answer the question with another question, why do you think that adding 10 million immigrants to a country with a relatively small population in just 11 years was going to turn out well? \n\n10 million is roughly one-third of what Canada's population was 11 years ago. It is one-quarter of today's population. How was this not going to cause housing shortages and stress the social/health and education systems, overcrowd schools, and clog roads and public transport? How was it not going to grow homelessness and tent cities?\n\n10 million in 11 years were simply too many people in too short a time period. One has to ask whether this was deliberate or whether the federal government is lacking in powers of reasoning. I suspect both.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. I got laid off 5 weeks ago ( no renewal of contract).. after 7 years working for that NFP.. I applied for snap and unemployment… while applying for jobs( social worker field)… first, they ask for so many documents… including my bank account….( again I was laid off .. not fired nor left my job, nor finding reasons not to work all those years ), department of labor had a mandated zoom meeting to discuss what I needed to do 4 weeks after I was laid off( like i don’t know)… I ve been working for years and paying taxes… a lot of them in NYC, I was also told that I have to show what I am doing to search for work and eventually should take a job( even if the salary is low..ridiculous)… I was also informed that I may get a call from investigator from DOL..they may call individuals receiving unemployment benefits($441 a week after taxes?)… to verified that I was searching and applying for jobs( even though I enter my activities related to work weekly on their website…..)….. meanwhile… people with 0 legal documentation are entering the US and living here, free snap, free housing, free health insurance!!!! Lala land!!!! Can’t wait for this non sense to stop!!! Every corner of NY , you see families begging for money. Food…I feel bad as a human being, but refuse to help or I ll be joining them too… welfare system needs to change too! The politics NEED to change!!!All the best !

I agree that immigration should be regulated based on need or requirement. But let me ask this, are Canadians willing to work in the fields and do all blue-collar jobs for $8/hour? I don't know about Canada, but the problem in the US is that most Americans don't want to do these tasks for low pay so businesses rely on immigrant workers. If businesses pay a higher salary they won't be competitive with foreign companies. There is no easy solution to this. At least Canada doesn't have a green card lottery (which is 100% useless) system but a skilled-based immigration.

I lived all my life here in the US and had struggles and I never ask for help from the government I have worked and paid taxes and this people come to the US to live of the system?, fuck no I'm so upset of this shit...

My brother I truly love your channel but to be honest internet is open for everyone to view and hear so as the Canadian immigration officials equally listens to you and other bloggers. Once thing is when such information is made public the officials discovers and knows it has become knowledge thereby they chooses other means. I think the best thing to tell our people is to be truthful, if you are coming for tourist, come visit and go back and then you may have build your status to return and subsequently ask for permanent residency. If you are coming to study, go to school and graduate, then you stand a better chances of integrating into the system.

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

They did not represent nor include the working classes in their decision making. Universal suffrage for working class men only came in 1919 so don’t peddle this old trope that the British were everywhere (and now it’s ironic that they tell others to get out of their country) when it was an elite minority which the majority could not make decisions about. The working class brits of today have a right to hold the view that we should stop immigration. The elites who are verifiably hereditary beneficiaries of colonialism do not and your trope actually stands up when it comes to them.

These international students, after completing their education, fill in the workforce demands of Canada. They secure their residency through legit government immigration programs. Have youguys ever asked why they here in the first place. These folks are paying for you and your childs education. They were invited to study in your debt ridden educational system, paying 5x then what you and your kids pay. They were also promised jobs after they graduated. Canada is spending in healthcare than the most European countries but why ?\nDid anyone asked why it’s healthcare system is made from another universe as they says universal healthcare system ?? And why so much disables and disability benefits ?\nAll politics ?

Not only is it it impossible to live here, there are no resources unless the government gets something from it. As an indigenous child who grew up in foster care my whole life, there was no indigenous foster care homes for me to go to and therefore my culture has become traumatic for me. My OWN culture has major trauma related to it and my foster care agency would NOT help me unless I moved to the reservation after I aged out the THEIR system, which was not applicable because they were the ones who traumatized me. When I turned 19, I was expected to have it all figured out, I was not allowed to remain in my foster home afterwards without massive paper work and thank god my foster mom cared about me because without her, I would be on the streets with nothing but a garbage full of clothes. I moved out on my own with the help of that family and my agency said they would help with things if I asked. As of the economy now, I did ask them. I asked them for any help at all and my social worker LITERALLY ghosted me and stood me up, even at my plea for help. You would think this is just my case but there are hundreds of cases like mine with even worse endings and what Canada has done with this information is nothing. Foster Care in Canada for indigenous youth is the 2000’s way of Residential Schools and I am EXTREMELY lucky to NOT be homeless and dead. Many of my friends in similar situations are dead or homeless and I have no hope for Canada, it’s an extremely depressing reality.

Here is why: Overrated education system and welfare system (not awful, but nowhere near as flawless as the hype might suggest)/Horrendous economy with excessively technocratic standards/housing crisis/openly eugenicist government/prolific drug problems/extremely sparse population density (could be viewed as a positive to some people, admittedly)/declining medical system (due to a shortage of doctors and other such professions).\nAlso, people preach about Canada as being a beacon of tolerance or whatever, but whatever you do, don't ask a 'tolerant' Canadian what they think about First Nations' reservations.

I'm reading a lot of peoples problems here and I keep asking myself why has all our systems in this country keep failing us? I have noticed a aggressively progressive decline in the last 10 yrs in Banking, Healthcare, Community Services, Safety etc. I can list pages of issues and yet we tolerate this by continuously electing our government at all levels keeping them in power and not holding them accountable for their actions or decisions. We need to do better and get more involved!

As much as I don’t like the guy, it’s misguided saying it’s only Trudeau. Is he the solution? Not likely, but it’s a start. The issue is accountability from the provincial governments who have low voter turnout, and are allergic to investing in diversified transportation or fixing housing, or immigration laws, and taxing rich people more and god forbid they update their labour and health system. So much of these issues were present for years before he was elected, because the country just voted to get out of the recession and cut a ridiculous amount of funding. The Harper years were terrible, people forget that. He wanted to ban abortions. That’s the future his party wants. I think they need a coalition government, badly and to turn it on the provinces to come up with plans before asking for money.

For context’ sake, for most of my adulthood I have always been poor & I am born with special health needs (E.g. disabilities).
\n\n\nSometimes on forums we are often contrasted to Canada, for some reason. Both Canada and Australia have remarkably similar problems with a different coat of paint. Sydney, for instance, has always been high up in the list of the cities with the highest cost of living in the world. Usually within the top 10-20. 

COVID-19 obviously made this issue clearer in some circumstances because we couldn't 'work' at all. Unless you were an essential service worker, to mentally block out personal and local difficulties.\n\n\nWe still have not recovered from that 2–3 years global shutdown. The only reason I was allowed to work for a period was because I work for the animal industry and aid in animal welfare. 

I still lost my job due to COVID-19 regardless and knew I would never get a decent job again. Merely just the last poor sod on the boat to be thrown off. 

Could not become a vet nurse despite working very hard. Just because no one wants to give me '2-years permanent paid experience’ to be taken seriously. 

At the same time, way too many employers will happily take 2+ years of veterinary students volunteering at their vet clinic. With the vague promise of a permanent job.

Which, of course, never happens, then say we are being too demanding or spoilt for politely asking for said job.\n\n\nHow are we supposed to pay off our student debt if any financial service expects us to have a per meant job to pay anything off??

 No, they do not want to train nor help you. They just want free labour, then kick you out once your time is up. All my jobs have been casual, and my animal industry has already become heavily casual based ages ago. The younger adults and kids all know and have been aware for years, they have no future at all due to having an inflated cost of living. There seems to be a more jarring split between the income brackets of what the country assumes who is poor, middle class or rich today.

We are considered 'poor' just because my parents do not earn roughly $50,000 — $150,000 AUD a year on their own in 2023. Or should the government spend all of the money they are making to buy up properties at market value and then rebuild for more efficient, cheaper and denser housing? What would your response be to that? Immigrants: there are too many. Is it that simple? What would the population of Canada look like in 20 years with just the birth rate of non-recent Canadian citizens (ie no immigrants from the past 15-20 years)? That there is a problem is obvious. Playing on the feelings of group A or group B, showing them the things they fear and presenting it as something everyone does not already know while deliberately ignoring other vital parts of the problem is predatory at best. Your feelings, opinions and gut will solve nothing. Blinding yourself to entire parts of broken systems will solve nothing. Videos and channels like this seek only the engagement that the algorithm demands. It will only deepen the mistrust between citizens and their fellow citizens and citizens and the government, that is, their fellow citizens that have been elected to be said government (not some invading outside force beyond all control) and increase the polarization of groups in an already strained society. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. The problem is not immigrants...the problem is poor immigrants. People who move here with nothing and want to milk the system. I moved here from a Latin American country in 2017, and I have never asked anything from government. I am not a refugee and I was never a student at a fake school. I came here with enough money to live comfortably and then got a great job. You are importing poverty, so of course things will be hard. You need to import wealth and education...people who actually contribute to the system. A richer and better system can help more people.

Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. I am 66 , I had to take my ill wife to emergency at the Peterborough hospital about 3 months ago. After sitting for 2.5 hours in an over crowded emergency room, I asked how much longer before we see a doctor. We were told by a nurse it would be another few hours at least and it could be up to 5 more hours after that to see the specialist she needed. So the wait could be 10.5 hours, we waited 2 more hours, then we got up and left. If we ever go back it will be in an ambulance. But to be honest We are done with this broken, rotting health care system. I blame the bum that has destroyed this country and destroyed the Canadian health care system.

The thing that really pisses me off is that these illegal entries also gum up and slow down the process for legit asylum seekers and legit immigration petitioners who do obey the law. I saw a news report at the San Ysidro crossing where they interviewed a mother of three young children who had a legitimate asylum reason (which still has to be determined in court) who had been trying for over two years to enter legally. The system just didn’t have capacity because of the illegal crossings in the region taking up all of USCIS resources. This woman had no resources and was sleeping on the streets in Tijuana (not safe) trying to survive and care for her kids and she had the resolve to continue to doing things legally. \n\nPeople bitch about America being unsympathetic — what about people like this woman? You gonna say she should give up obeying the law and try to jump the border? What if you came home from work and found a homeless woman and her three kids eating out of your fridge? \n\nWalls don’t keep people out. They have doors. Go to the door and ask to be let in. \n\nIf the illegal crossings stopped, and America refused to answer the door? Then maybe you got an argument for harsh treatment.

I was born and raised in Toronto. It's not what it used to be and it's never going to recover. I took my family and left Canada. The education is terrible now and hyper politicized, the medical system is terrible, affordability is terrible. Ask yourself if you're willing to invest in a life and property in a country that will take a minimum of 20 years to recover from trudeaus terrible economic policies.

I would encourage Canadians to get involved more in politics and demand changes to the system. Housing is high in Canada due to lack of building permits and blue collar laborers. Canada accepted a high rate of white collar skill immigrants but lack job opportunities for them. Vancouver economy is tourism dependent while Alberta is energy base and Toronto financial base. Healthcare is available for every Canadian but salaries are low in the industry compared to US. The government should encourage companies to invest in Canada and create jobs for the economy. Since the tax rate in Canada is higher compared to the US, citizens should ask themselves if the money is going to good use and generating jobs in the economy.
