There is no end to the illogical actions that Trump is making but tariffs have been proven to result in a recession. Cutting thousands of jobs of people making $18/hr is insane!! Now, the government can pay unemployment and healthcare for people who were paying taxes! Then there is revenue lost because National Parks and Federal common spaces are closed. Then there was the this: CDC restricted from updating Americans on the latest epidemiologist reports on Covid, bird flu, the chickenpox outbreak in Texas, flu, and every other potential pandemic virus. Women and children will die as a result of this action! \nAgain, illogical anctions along with Trump aligning himself with Putin and every other dictator. He can move to Russia if he wants to live his life under Putin. He treats everyone the same; expendable!

I’m an American as well. And I’m with Canada 10000% we the people in the US (most of us) stand with y’all. What the current administration is doing with this country is truly shameful. And I as an American apologize in behalf of our government. May god bless all of us.

This investment could create thousands of jobs, lower EV and fuel costs, generate significant tax revenue, and strengthen the economy, as Chinese EVs are more affordable than U.S. counterparts. Ultimately, lower energy costs would decrease the cost of living and boost Canadians' spending power, attracting foreign investors to Canada.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. I am never a fan of our Prime Minister but today, he got my full respect and admiration. We all know it is not about Fentanyl or illegal immigrants crossing from Canada as little as they were.
