I’m an American as well. And I’m with Canada 10000% we the people in the US (most of us) stand with y’all. What the current administration is doing with this country is truly shameful. And I as an American apologize in behalf of our government. May god bless all of us.

I think we should increase tariffs ofn American digital services as well, as they are, leading there.

Well, when one of the worlds famous American billionaire's ( Warren Buffet) TELLS YOU that tariffs are an act of war, perhaps you should listen. Trump is going to send millitary aid to Russia, and ask for Russian aid to annex Canada. USA- your sons and daughters are in danger.

You know what, I still can't believe the Americans were stupid enough to elect trump. And according to the recent poll I saw on CNN 50% of Americans like what he's doing, and only something like 34% see Russia as an enemy. As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. As an American Donald Trump was a mistake. It's time for the American people to wake up and admit their mistakes. An inflated ego is not good. Just like Mexico they said they would secure their borders to help stop the flow if illegal immigrants, drugs, gangs and terrorists into the USA... THEY DID NOT. China did nothing to crack down on fentanyl being smuggled out of their country (although I think they would rather see American people die of overdoses. Well said. I love the USA, I have relatives who live there and in all the years of a beautiful relationship with the people of America I have never seen this situation. Mr. Trump you seem to want to conquer and divide relationships at any cost, even with people who care about you. You sabotage yourself and those who are loyal to you. I'm not sure if you understand the implications of your decisions. But I will say respectfully, there are no winners in a trade war, nor is it you that has the final say on the worlds outcome. Well, I was feeling really great about all the support from around the world, including the kind words of many Americans (thank you), but then I watched this same speech on the Fox youtube channel and the comments are exactly the opposite. Hating the speech and Trudeau. Funny how people can watch the same thing and see two different versions.

I have never been so ashamed to be an American ? It’s like Trump is trying to hurt as many innocent people as he can. He is abusing nice people like the Canadians and Prime Minister Trudeau. He is hurtful to the Mexicans and immigrants as well. I was so angry with the way the Trump administration ganged up on and bullied the nice, strong Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. I was glad that not too long ago... Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? Hey Canada/Trudeau if you don’t want the tariffs from President Trump then remove your limiting factors on American goods to equal the playing field! Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good.
