As a Canadian citizen, it’s not that I do not feel like my interests and well-being doesn’t matter. I know it doesn’t matter. He close attention to what he says as well such as make that make sense is a popular conservative or republican slogan. These are mental gymnastics in order to confuse the majority and misdirect the population. As it says in the Bible let he who is without sin cast the first stone and lately. I see a lot of people throwing stones in glass houses.

I dont like a lot of things he's done with our economy, but hes handling this well.

Hey Canada/Trudeau if you don’t want the tariffs from President Trump then remove your limiting factors on American goods to equal the playing field! Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good. This is part of the reason you won’t be the tyrant dictator you once enjoyed being. Not to mention the Canadian government should be doing a lot better on stopping the cartels and their POS fentanyl from coming into their country as well as across into the US!

I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I mean why would Trump want that at all who knows but he is certainly aligning with Russia just not openly at least that's what a lot of these decisions he has made recently seem to suggest I mean a lot of the consequences of those decisions and acting really seem to benefit someones agenda and to me a politics ignorant seems to be Putin ... Am I too crazy for thinking and feelings like that???

Im sorry Canada. And the rest of the world as well. All I can say is a LOT of us did not support or vote for this insanity and we still stand with you all.
2025-03-04 0
I'm just going to clarify something remember when they said Trump had allies with Russia now you see what the Democrats were talking about. Trump always blames democrats for his faults. Trump had you guys convinced not to vote for Democrat. Now are allies don't even want to deal with the US anymore which is understandable because of what the whole nation seen with their own eyes and heard with their own ears. Trump says he wants to make America Great American dream not for Americans maybe for you Republicans I guarantee a lot of Republicans don't agree with him but they all are scared to say anything to Trump and his team which that is disturbing within itself. Trump needs to be impeached he's causing to much chaos and still getting away with people's lives in real life situations this is not a joke. As for JD Vance his vice president he was laughing and asking Zelenskyy why was he not wear a suit what about Elon musk he wasn't wearing a suit? And when you ask another person to come from another country to the White House they are dressed in their traditional clothing to be mocked by these men is despicable. Real people lost their jobs, real people are dying that need aid,for them to shut down the military aid was a slap in the face, mind you they sit back and laugh about it.. Russia is the last person Trump should be nice Putin is not on the US side it's obvious but Trump laughs with him, communicate better with Putin which is disturbing as well. Having the power and money makes people so entwined into their own world,Trump should think about Americans first and not act like a disrespectful person he ruined his chance not Zelenskyy. Now We the people are looking at our President and vice President like the are unhinged, disrespectful, uncompassionate, and down right rude. Kamala,Tim warned everyone Barak, Michelle, Biden did also y'all should have listened. I voted for Kamala and Tim. If Trump wants peace he needs to stop with all the madness and focus fixing the US.

Paula, when you talk about never seeing such anti American sentiment before…..well you are going to see a lot of anti American sentiment within our own country. This is so troubling.
2025-03-04 0
It's just Trump. One dumb man who, for some dumb reason, speaks and represents a lot of people under the name of the country they live in. Maybe someone will figure out that someone can only make so many bad decisions before they remove that person from making more bad decisions. We have the village idiot in charge of things. Most[people in America like you and other leaders more than the person who is pretending to lead here. He's the fool of fools. You don't have to call him a smart guy just to make him feel good, he just does dumb things all the time. Either way, it's a fun show, I only hope the missiles start to fly and we all destroy ourselves. \n \nHenry Limpet: Doesn't it kind of give you a thrill of hope, George? \nGeorge Stickel: Hope for what, Henry? \nHenry Limpet: With the war in Europe and new weapons being invented all the time, why, well what if men were actually foolish enough to destroy themselves completely? Then, you see, the fish in the ocean would develop into a new race of men and - well, this time they might turn out better, you see? \n \nOne can only hope.

As a canadian citizen, our prime minister has a good look & speaks well. But that's all. A lot of us are suffering up here. Everything is expensive. No jobs. More tax. More regulations. Our health care system is free, but it is impossible to see any doctors. Mega drug problem. Anyone thinks Justin T is a great leader. Please take him.

Good for you Canada well said I with you and a lot of England is to. We will sell to you.
2025-03-04 0
Im English, what a fantastic understandable speech. Trump has gone mad, a lot of people will start turning against him, especially him siding with putin the murderous dictator in modern times. All people in power should stand united in a crazy world. Well done canada and their superb leader.

Well said PM Trudeau. Scrap those border plan billions and the Fentanyl Czar. If the Amer-I-can border is such a worry for this embarrassment of a USA administration (worst in history and that is saying a lot), then let them invest in border controls to keep out the overwhelming flow from our beautiful country of fentanyl and illegal immigrants that DOESN’T exist. This is hateful and Trump and those who voted for him should be ashamed. Shame on you. We will not visit your country, we will not buy your products…you are no neighbours of ours (yes, we spell neighbours with “our”…). Trump is hateful.

Boo boo, don’t care. It’s time that the countries we support show some love back. In our time of need we are getting ghosted but everyone expects America to just to attention when there is a conflict or someone needs money. No one cares about our financial needs or our battle with the cartels and illegal immigration. Then screw them. If they want to leave us high and dry because they like the old way of doing things, aka syphoning off Americas wealth, then they can get ghosted right back. I know this will get hate because the people who support CNN are mostly trump haters, but oh well. There’s gonna be a lot of pain before the soothing comes because of all the damage that’s been done. My heart goes out to those suffering, you’re not alone, we’re all in this hoping for a better America.

I used to keep a refrigerator full of beer and a well stocked liquor cabinet. My friends were at my house 7 days a week. I stopped buying beer and boxed up my liquor and all my friends got mad and stopped coming by to visit. Our country has borrowed \n$37 trillion dollars and given a lot away to countries that claimed to be our friends and partners. We stopped giving money away and we are the bad guys? \nYeah I see a parallel.

i liked trudeau a lot in this speech, after months and months of disliking hearing his voice this was very refreshing.. Well done Justin!
2025-03-04 0
Well... Last administration that you liked a lot screw us bad, while lying thru their teeth that our economy is strong. I don't care anymore. Screw you. You're a pathological liar as well, so bring it on tuff guy. We'll see I guess

Prime Minister, please, I implore you, reconsider stepping down. I know it is a lot to ask, but just one more term? Canadians need you right now more than ever, not only Canadians but the World. This is just the beginning. I am not giving in, but this egomaniac will not stop. We need experienced, ethical leaders. You are the best , although our wonderful Jacinda came close (yes, I live in New Zealand), but am a Canadian through and through, this action from the States has me feeling the need to come back and roll up my sleeves to help fight with my Country. So proud, am I to be a Canadian, your words are exactly what the World needed. Be well, stay well.much gratitude.

Well trump just created a lot of new criminals. Because I'm gonna have to break bad just to feed my family. So if you got anything of value lock it up because my rent is coming due.
2025-03-04 0
Mr Trudeau, you speak very well. For us, Canadian. Showing a lot of fight and courage. Please do not resign. We need you in these tough times.
2025-03-04 0
Well done canada for standing your ground....having family there I know how strong the feeling is amongst Canadians.....be proud of who you are and take your produce , minerals and oil and deal with people who will treat you like an equal respected partner .I've no doubt europe will be next ......the american government will slowly isolate itself from its western partners and that's s real shame for the American public .......it'll cost jobs in the us cause inflation and it's gonna get a lot more expensive for everyone
2025-03-04 0
well said Trudeau. I am a proud Canadian and support my country. Because of this I have started and will continue to buy only Canadian products. Trump is a loser and going to cost the USA a lot of money. I will not travel to the US and that means I won’t even be able to see one of my brothers who lives there, but I support my country and will do what is necessary.
2025-03-04 0
I just watch mr trump speak with regards to tariff impose on canada mexico and china..he's proud in saying that a lot of foriegn companies will soon build factories and offices in the US. Providing billions of jobs and revenue. He said that if these companies would come to the United States where will be no tariff, lower taxes and easy life for the Americans. My question is: is he trying to kill other countries?? He said Ukriane is gambling with WW3, well i can say its WAR with GUNS..what he is doing is already WW3 using economic saborage...just my opinion...

Wait a second, just a few weeks ago CNN was saying that Canada had outfoxed the US/Trump and they were not doing anything more than what they had decided to do well before Trump's election when it comes to stopping illegal immigration and the transport of fentanyl into the US? Now they are trying to convince us that Canada is very understanding and accommodating of US needs and is doing a lot!!!! Fake News Network! True Americans should stand with United States of America and not Canada. LOL

Let me explain the trading relationship briefly that occurs between Canada and the US for context. \n \nCanada Has a LOT of natural resources, more than our domestic manufacturing base needs (Uranium fuel, Lumber/paper products, Steel and other metals, Fertilizer for farms...etc). Therefore we sell those raw materials to the states where they are manufactured into goods, which we then buy back. a LOT of American service companies like tech, media (And yes, even banks)...etc also operates in Canada as well. (For the auto sector the parts flip back and forth across the border like 8 times) \n \nThis relationship alone has the American economy see a large trade surplus with Canada, however there is another element to it: Energy. \n \nCanada is also home to a LARGE amount of really cheap renewable hydro power in the east, and a LOT of oil in the west, due to a lack of infrastructure we really can only sell that oil to the states and therefore it is done at a discount. America refines this cheap oil into gas and is a large part of the reason why American gas is so cheap. They use this energy to power the same factories mentioned above. (Oh and also the NE states import a lot of that clean hydro electricity for the same reasons) \n \nThe US Buys SO MUCH of that cheap energy from us to power your industrial base, that it swings the numbers on the trade balance into a small deficit for the USA. (41 billion out of a TRILLION dollars total trade, or about -4.1% of total trade so literally a pretty small deficit) It also swing back and forth every year so \n \nThen comes Trump. He wants Canada as a 51st state and own the entire continent, therefore he manufactures an excurse that our border is leaky and that migrants and fentanyl are flowing over. (In actual case migrants and the flow of Fent is about 1% the amount that's crossing at the Mexico border but he needs an excuse) \n \nHe therefore puts 25% tariffs on us. Those tariffs will hit Canada harder than the 2008 financial crisis just for scale. \n \nOh and also for the most part American Refineries literally cant process any other oil than ours or Venezuela's because its thicker so tariffs on our oil will also really increase the priced of energy in the states by a huge amount just for the LOLs. As we've seen during the post covid recovery, since gas is priced in to the supply chain at every step (Manufacturing, transportation...etc), any increase at the pump will snowball into higher costs for everything at the store, on top of the extra cost of the tariffs on consumers. (Since every step will need to add it into their markup.)

It's so bad that you have to paint Trump's belly in order not to make things worse just because you're telling the truth.\n\nAnyway, I have a lot of respect for Trudeau, he's a REALLY smart guy. I wish we had him as chancellor in Germany, instead of Darth Merz Vader who unfortunately awaits us here for the next 4 years. But well, one look at the USA is enough to see that it can get much, much, much worse.

Canada, please adopt Minnesota. We have lots to offer and do hockey well!!!
2025-03-04 0
Trudeau speaks EXTREMELY well. He makes a lot of sense and he's very clear and articulate. He cares about his country and wants to protect it. Unlike Trump. ? ?

Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!
2025-03-03 0
Can confirm things are going terribly and all the boomers are gunna vote for the exact same government that caused a lot of it because they've been doing well

This is what the democratic administration funds with American taxpayers' money it's a fact no speculation. And there still acting like it's no big deal ant they will do what they want . And for thoes taking advantage of what is happening in America today to launch there own agenda within the United States . Don't do it this mess will eventually get cleaned up and then all the focus will be on you . Think about it because there are a whole lot of WHITE people that are not living very well either White , Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, all races. Stop crying ....
2025-02-23 0
This is going to force people living in these areas to become vigilantes and well, there is lots of land up there where you could not find bodies for years...
2025-02-23 0
maine has been a lot of illegals coming in from canada, we also have ms 13 gang in maine as well. they all need to go
2025-02-23 0
Yeh well about the crooks, drug dealers and illegal immigrants crossing into the Quebec border. We g3t a lot more crooks coming here and than going there.
2025-02-23 0
Well USAID was giving these “leaders” money to do exactly that - bring in illegals and keep blue states blue. The more populous the state the better as these states have a lot of electoral votes which can win elections - literally flipping elections in the favor of the bureaucrats. The deep state.
2025-02-23 0
I have observed that a lot of these ‘progressive ‘ politicians and officials are Americans from African decent.\nAs public servants they get paid well and are in a position where they can siphon off money.\n\nIs it social circumstances that they are so ruthlessly corrupt and not really giving a damn about a well and healthy and safe society?\nWhat’s the matter with those people?
2025-02-23 0
I used to think Pres. Trump was being too hard on Canada then I got a look at the tariffs they impose on our goods. Some as high as 250%. I think Trump just wants a level playing field and a lot of help from Canada on the border. I think Poilievre feels the need to talk tough in response but I think he really wants the same things as Trump. I hope Poilievre becomes PM because he's conservative and I think he'll work well with Trump as they're both conservative nationalists.

Hey Tyler,\nA lot of us have family in the US. My grandmother came into Canada with the railroad because of her father. I could apply for citizenship and have no problem getting it. That being said, I can also apply for an Irish or English citizenship as well. We are family, and I am so sad how you are letting Trump treat us.\n❤❤❤

tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

Well maybe it's time for America to use the same rule Poland, and Korea use. And that is cross that line if you dare but do know when you do you're going to be greeted with a lot of fire power. If they act like that on the otherside towards officers how do you expect they going to act once here the law don't mean ? to these people and they show it.

People move to countries with wild dreams fantasising that everything will be easier and they will be richer. A lot of people just can't adapt to a new country. Some do extremely well. I know a lot of entrepreneurs that have gone to the US and Canada to start businesses and then they move back to their countries in South America or India to live an amazing lifestyle and travel a lot. I suppose it's nice to accumulate wealth faster and know that you have a Canadian passport to fall back on if you need to get out? I'm part first nations. I do not live in Canada for related reasons - but I love my country and what we stand for.

Dont worry come back to india work or do business learn a trade, India has lots of oppertunities but each one has to search and find it, dont loose heart, dont be ashamed,, even animals cross borders to find food and water , its natural,, but we humans made man made rules, regulations, borders for each countries security, stability, and well being, respect it, ???

In Canada, it’s become obvious there’s a lot of fraud when it comes to Indians coming as int’l students. Not to mention the Kalistanis who are often linked to weapons and drugs, as well as their “protests”, highlighting their fight for à kalistani homeland, where swords and knives are brandished openly.

My Indian friend told me Gujerati Indians have caused a lot of problems. Also the problem of defecating in parks and behind railway lines. And they claim that the body odour causes Canadians to puke...\nHowever the Indians I met were from Patiala at a cafe. They were well groomed and friendly.

India as a whole and a country need to earn the respect of the world.\nNot just a few as head of American top 100 companies. It's not enough.\nOutside America , where everyone know it employ a lot a lot Indians for their cheap labour in the IT works in America ,\nIndians aren't many as tourists and they have not been really well- mannered.\nAnd how about world contribution of Indians in the international fields , in sport, medical, IT, engineering , space , AI ,etc ?\nSitting in the comfort of your office with a top post only earn awe from your own fellowmen , but outside of India ?

Very conservative video, coming right in time for the election. Immigrants are always an easy target, as this video shows well. At this point - Feb 2025- a lot of condos have been built in Toronto and guess what, nobody is buying!! The economy dipped with the pandemic as it happened in many other countries! When I immigrated to Canada - and I had nothing then, it was impossible to even think of buying a house, under a Conservative government. About 10 years later I was able to purchase my first home and am doing well, thank you. So are the builders in this beautiful province, close friends with the premier. I wonder if this video is independently produced - I doubt it! There are plenty of people happily living in Canada!

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

First “They” say that US Tariffs will hurt the US Citizenry.\nSecond “They” seek to impose Tariffs ON the USA to hurt the US Citizenry (apparently NOT “hurting” Their Own Citizens?) \nThe USA has Specific Goals behind the tariffs (Border & Drug Control) do Mexico &/or Canada have Specific Goals as well?\n\nPersonally, I think if the US Citizenry backs down on outright Consumerism, We’ll find there’s a lot We Don’t (and Never) Needed.\nIf this version of “War” continues long enough, We will find that We can fulfill pretty much ALL of Our Own Needs … if not “Wants”.
2025-02-02 0
I don't think the average viewer knows why the US is doing this. They're trying to combat illegal immigration and fentanyl as well as Mexican compliance with the drug cartels.\n\nThe reason tariffs are being used is because America is in a very powerful position when it comes to trade. The american economy doesn't rely on trade like Canada (67%), Mexico (73%) and China (37%). American trade accounts for only 24% of its massive GDP. if you removed all trade from america, it would still have larger economical output than china, mexico and canada COMBINED. yes. Combined. \n\nFurthermore, Canadian trade with america account for almost 80% of all trade in canada. A 25% increase would be absolutely devastating to canada. In america its about 13% so a 25% increase would cost more but it wont have any significant impact.\n\nNo doubt this tarrif war will cause far more problems for canada mexico and china than america. By a LOT. \n\nI dont think america is being selfish either. China does nothing to protect america from sending precursor chemicals to america to manufacture fentanyl. Canada facilitates illegal immigration and fentanyl into america with no accountability. And mexico is illegal immigrants by the MILLIONS and is literally working with the drug cartels. If they sort out those issues the trade war ends. \n\nI think america has every right to go to war to protect its sovereignty and its people.
