I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I mean why would Trump want that at all who knows but he is certainly aligning with Russia just not openly at least that's what a lot of these decisions he has made recently seem to suggest I mean a lot of the consequences of those decisions and acting really seem to benefit someones agenda and to me a politics ignorant seems to be Putin ... Am I too crazy for thinking and feelings like that???

Trudeau isn't dumb in stating this bluntly to 'Donald'. Trump needs to get the message (esp. by mass protest from his hopefully former American voters/supporters) just how dumb these US tariffs really are - how they'll cause inflation and stock market collapse the world over. And Trump's aligning himself with the US's manipulative, deceitful enemy Russia is because Trump has been laundering Russian Oligarch's money for decades (from forced prostitution and enslavement, drugs, and small arms sales to terrorists) to finance his real estate empire, ever since his 6 bankruptcies made him a bad risk for US lenders.

I'm an American and support the actions Canadians are taking to secure the border between Canada and the United States. I did not vote for Trump this time but to my disappointment he won the election and now we have to deal with him his administration and the issues he is causing. I only pray we will make it through this.

???Now the USA is not a reliable country nor a reliable seller, so Trump is destroying his own country. Besides this crazy tax-tariff thing, now the whole world has seen that Trump has removed the military aid to Ukraine... so the whole world has seen that if you buy weapons to the USA or you use them, the USA will extort you or leave you stranded even in dangerous situations. So now NOBODY is going to buy weapons to the USA, and considering that the American economy massively relies on its military industry, this can cause a huge collapse. Other countries and other markets will step up and take the position of the USA in the market and the world, because other countries are reliable, especially those in Europe and Canada, and the USA is not.

Canada, the American people don't want this and a lot of Trump supporters didn't want this either. I'm sorry that y'all too have to suffer and deal with a man that doesn't lead your country. Canada's Tariff applied to the United States will cause some price inflation, price increase, for a short time until the United states establish compaines to produce the same good and services that were tariffed. Once goods and service producted by the United States exceeds the Canadian goods and services that were tarriffed, the prices will come down. President Donald Trump did this to grow United States and Employment and cause price deflation over the long term. Hopefully Canada has the resources to do the same.
