This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. You know, I am an immigrant myself but I have always have had a beef how other immigrants act all entitled. Immigrating is like going to live in another people's house, you have to respect the rules of that house. I hate people trying to change the rules to their convenience. I know a lot of immigrants just living off the system, I work 2 jobs and the day I was laid off I refused to collect EI out of self respect, why because I knew I could find another job. But many is like they are looking forward to get laid off or fired to collect government benefits. It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Im sick of these people coming into OUR country and straight up ignoring our laws!!!! They literally make the older kids like 6 years old watch and babysit the 2+ year old while they run the roads in the city by themselves all hours and when you see these people getting in their cars they DONT buckle their children in their seats. I'm waiting 16-18 months for spine MRIs that I'm supposed to have every 6-12months due to severe degeneration of my discs. It's ridiculous. I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

If I was there and seen them blocking roads or gathering like this, I would throw my jingle dress on and pray to god and jesus and then take my drum and start singing my first nations music 🎶 super loudly and get all my brother's and sister's to join. Enough is enough. I lost my job to corporate restructuring and running out of ei now, and I am beyond pissed off! All the years worked and contributing to my ei insurance, should equal how many months of ei i should actually be eligible for, but nope, its only for a certain amount of weeks according to their unemployment rate, which is severely flawed, because how can their unemployment rate remain unchanged for so many years, when you hear of thousands losing their jobs. My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. It just seems easier than putting in the hustle. I don't understand what the problem is. If someone wants to work, we should let them. Clearly, we have different priorities. We only get one life—just enjoy it and keep complaining about all the Indian people actually doing the work. We need someone to hate and complain about so we can hide our laziness. Honestly, if they leave, we’ll have to go to work, and I don’t think that's going to be easy. So, I'll say thanks to the foreigners who are actually working and paying taxes so we can collect our welfare checks.

For _years_, thoughtful and well-meaning people have been showing the evidence that massive over-immigration was detrimental to Canada. They were rewarded by being called r-ists and xenophobes. Turns out that, actually, they were right. Canada needs, right now, a 100% moratorium on all immigration for at least three years to allow infrastructure and health care to catch up. After that, a very slow and gradual increase to maximim 1% current population levels, with a strict focus on STEM and health care grads. Not their parents and grandparents and great aunts. And if any of them breaks the Canadian criminal code, they are deported within 24 hours.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.

Oh the IRONY! If you aren't First Nations, you ARE an immigrant. Why don't you actually all make an effort to learn at least a few words in our languages; the ACTUAL languages of Our country 🙄. You can't be that dumb. I'm not trying to be harsh, but most of us speak our language and 1 or 2 languages from the European settlers here. It really suits everyone here to never bring Indigenous people into your conversations while you call it "Your country, your 'Canada', you culture". Everyone who's ancestors aren't from need to do better. It blows my mind how you come here and fight against each other while being immigrants yourselves. You demand assimilation from others while you yourselves aren't Indigenous, and don't make the slightest effort to assimilation to OUR culture. Complete hypocrites.🤣🤣🤣 If I were you, I'd be ashamed. I can't see myself ever going to someone else's country, living in it, let alone being born in it, and have the audacity to act and speak with that amount of utter continuous ignorance and disrespect the way most of the European settlers and other settlers/"Canadians" do. Because these things are happening to European settlers/ 'Canadians', now it's finally a problem. The IRONY.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

We are being culturally destabilized on purpose. It’s an actual plan, look it up, it’s all part of the globalization agenda and the liberal government is directly responsible. When immigrants are complaining about immigration and new immigrants then obviously there is a huge problem.

It's quite understandable when it seems overnight Canada is invaded by Indians from India! What happened? Did the Canadian borders opened wide for the Indians to march in, or were the immigration staff permanently zonked on marijuana and didn't notice or just couldn't be bothered with stopping them over the last 3 to 4 years? Maybe. But really, the problem was definitely created by that despicable moron Trudeau( who even Trump could say to him in his face when he knelt and begged Trump not to hurt Canada with his tariffs, Trump just say ok if you agree to let Canada be the US's 51 st state!). He must have suffered from a terrible serious attack on his mental faculty and zonked on chanting Hari Krishna simply allowing his goons in charge of immigration to approve to let in that tidal wave of Indians especially in the last 4 years! What to do now? While we hate Trump for what he's doing to Canada on tariffs, Carney should give good thoughts to adopt actions like Trump's ICE GOONS to deport those who entered Canada illegally, and stop extension of visas to the zillions admitted on temporary work visas, and the tens of thousands of students who registered as "student" on student visas in private unregistered/approved institutes in name, but are actually working in various jobs illegally e.g. construction, etc.

Stop letting people in from Buttfuckistan who just want to import their incompatible culture and import people from nation’s with similar values instead. No Canadian would be having this anger if it was millions of Koreans or Italians… people who actually build nice things instead of slums.
