In Canada they are not banning Indians they are putting a cap on foreign workers and international students. \nIndians are the only that are protesting in the streets.\nWhen the economy is bad and there are not enough jobs for the taxpayer population in it I don’t think that the government will take large numbers of people from abroad

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Getting immigration back to sensible levels of skilled workers in the next step, and not just massive amounts of one culture. Diversifying the diversity. I grew up in Vancouver, Richmond and South Surrey/White Rock. I have white, asian and indian friends. I have the same group of employees for my business. The issue is the new immigrants are not vetted the same way they used to be. Its not that its Indians, Chinese, etc, etc, its about who they are letting in specifically. The standards changed when the Liberals took power again in 2016. Nothing against Indians other than the standard of who we let in. We are letting in the lower grade of individuals than what we did before. My IT guys, who are Indian, agree. They say the government lowered the standard. My opinion is based upon asking my friends and employees what they think and know. They know its a big problem. And it doesnt take a person to be racist to have these observations. You just need to look around and ask questions.

When i was a kid Indians who ran the store down the street rented from us and us kids hung out also in elementary school one of my best friends was Indian, Indians fought with the allies in WW1 Now I work with some great Indian guys who always hold their own and don't slack off. Generalizing and racism is bad because it targets all as the problem. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

It not anti indian policy.. international student are not all indian .. there is other country citizen that are also not allow to get work permit as well . let not play the race card now.. indian act like you are alway are special.. when apply for your student visa there were term and condition.. and one of the term is that once your visa expires you must LEAVE the county. Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. This world is so closely connected and it can not be operated by rules. You need to understand the reality and work with empathy.

I’m immigrant from Iraq. Came in 2009 and I can say Canada has immigration problem. There’s no way you are getting these students back to India. When I came to Canada I came because I wanted to make it my second home. A country that I’m willing to actually fight for. These guys are here just to make money and send it back to India. i am from hamilton and we are still very diverse here. yes brampton is quiet loaded with indians. i think what has failed is the requirements for immigration has dropped. i mean we use to have highly educated people come in but now the standards have dropped. so anyone with low standards can come walk in. pubjabi votes for jagmeet or trudeau and they are the group with highest crimes in india the state of punjab and there is a big drug and drinking culture that comes here. the minute our standards grow up with immigration requirements then we will get more educated bunch coming in. when we have greedy power hungry people run the country this is what happens. now people are fed up. the other day i was at freshco and some white guys started to lecture me and he openly admitted he is a racist. i pulled out my camera and started to record. he backed off but he could have done anything. he rude and stupid. i was also quiet upset. people were not like this and were more accepting. i can understand his frustration but he said openly he was racist and called me Fxxxxxxx indian etc... this is out of line. i also gave him a mouth full. i told him i have been here 35 years and his mood changed but its quiet disappointing how people react. its not safe or respectful. not sure where we are headed in canada.

Most of the Canadians think Punjabi and Sikh community are there all of a sudden , The Indian Sikh and Punjabi community started to immigrate to Canada from the late 80’s , And these guys are super rich people in Brampton holding million dollar homes , yeah there is a spike in immigration in the recent times due to mismanagement. Hai..i think all of your worries will easily disappear if u come n move to Malaysia??.. first of all we don't have winter season as u wanted.. secondly we are multi culture country with many races n ethnique people lives together like malay+Chinese+indian etc lives in harmony n respect of each other beliefs n background..Malaysian are friendly people n humble..also the easiest country to access halal food everywhere because 60% or more of the population is Muslim..so u can also practice Islamic education here .. n importantly even though we are multi cultures we still can practice our religion peacefully n respectfully..in fact we had our mosques, temple n churches besides each other..n when comes to celebrate holidays, we celebrate Ramadan, Eid, Christmas,thaipusam, deepavali or other celebration together respectfully regardless of our races.. Malaysia also a tropical country so u can enjoy modern city n nature together just in one country.. n lastly I think economically u guys can afford to living or retired here considering dollar are more higher than ringgit Malaysia..so financially I think its everything affordable here ..

I love that people ONLY think about Toronto when they think Canada. \nComing from BC on the West Coast, living in Vancouver, the worst parts are the homelessness, the drugs, and the alienation. As a white guy it's very hard to find a healthy community to be a part of, whereas the Asian communities (Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, etc) are very tight knit. \nBC is also CRIMINAL for cost of living. Not just housing but groceries, utilities, etc. Its beautiful country, and a lot of the smaller towns and cities are nice in terms of the people, it's just kinda crazy. \nStill, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else for very long.

Why haven't immigrants created their own organizations? We have Caribbean Community & West Indian Communities Events. Guys you have to pool together and create fun events with friends, friends& family, people with similar cultures or not. Organize & create a calender of fun activities for the short term as well as the long term. I think boredom is a choice. It has to do with certain mindset. Be creative. Even without money, you don't have to be bored
