Indians have used Canada like a flop house. Indians go to diploma mills and try to use it as a backdoor to stay in Canada. They take over Canadian communities and try to turn them into India - making the locals feel like foreigners in their own home. They're also involved in a lot of crime. This includes: auto theft rings, synthetic ID/credit fraud, gun and drug smuggling, and one of the largest gold heists in Canadian history at Toronto Pearson airport. Americans have stated that the top nationality entering the US illegally from Canada is Indian. The drugs they are complaining about entering the US from Canada are almost entirely brought in by Indian truck drivers (Google it and find many examples). A Fentanyl super lab in BC capable of producing over 95 million lethal doses that was busted was run by an Indian. This is now threatening trade with our main trade partner as a trade war has just started. ENOUGH ALREADY! Indians need to be sent home, and banned from entering Canada.

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.

The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! I work with people getting them housing and I can tell you that the major focus is housing illegals besides that rent is too expensive. We do have problem with housing people, besides that there are too many buildings. There is not enough money to pay rent forever for illegals and they are the majority to be house.

I live in USA legally. And I am a citizen. There is not enough housing. Even if the Housing is not an issue. The health care system is collapsing. It used to take 1-3 business days to get an appointment. Not it’s 2-3 months. It’s a dramatic change.

They will find it unaffordable here just as those of us born in Canada do. They will be heavily taxed and struggle with their Walmart and Tim Horton's jobs to save enough for a down payment on a house that is only a small bungalow, yet costs half a million dollars. Out of control immigration drives up the cost to buy and rent houses, same issue here in Australia.\nWe can't builld enough houses in Australia to meet the demand. Many building companies went out of business when the price of materials increased but their contract price couldn't.\nCashed up immigrants who can afford higher prices effectively drive locals away from places to live. Homelessness is increasing in Australia.\nThe government then tries to build more social housing and pays the builders higher prices than a person building a private house can afford, which continues to increase the construction cost spiral. We now have $1M+ houses being built for people on welfare who only have to pay a maximum of 25% of their income, and that income is given to them by the government. People are better off being unemployed and living off government benefits and housing than to have a job paying less than $100k/yr.

Rip up all the backlogged applications! Enough is enough! Canadians are struggling and competing for services and housing. Eliminate the bureaucracy of our tax dollars paying for these workers that are facilitating the destruction of the economy.

If I want to work in the USA, I have to apply for a visa and work permit, present my documents, qualifications and credentials, plus criminal record and health check, show that I have adequate medical insurance and enough money to fund my stay. If granted permission to come, I then have to present myself at an official port of entry.\n\nALTERNATIVELY, I can fly to Colombia, pay gangsters to guide me through the Central American jungle, sneaking clandestinely through several countries along the way, and pay the local cartel to smuggle me illegally across the southern US border. Then I get free transport to a US destination of my choice, free housing, free clothes and personal items, free healthcare and legal advice, and a work permit without all that pesky paperwork.

Our Government destroyed the consensus on immigration. The passport ranking is because of how Indians behave in general. If I was a nation I would make sure I don't let too many Indians in. I was born and raised in brampton. I am now 41 years old. When i was 20 i remember when the indians started to come into brampton they were taking our jobs because they would work for minium wage without benefits. Then they stated to buy the houses and bring in their families they had like 10 to 20 people living in one house, so only needing to work for minium wage they were able to purchase the houses faster. Then the stores started opening up and theis is when i left. Brampton was the best place in ontario to live (close to everything, small enough to feel like a town but yet big enough that it had everything available) \nNow its a shit hole

There is no housing problem. There is a big problem with people not earning enough to rent and the Canadian Government cannot commandeer housing and give it to immigrants like they do in NYC and San Francisco: free housing, free ATM card for food, and city services. You can find illegal India people with temporary Visas at 7 11 stores working at gas ⛽ stations too in America or bringing females from India so business men can use them for india sex for other men. I am a skilled worker (an engineer), I graduated from a master's in Germany and speak fluent german. Housing is one of the negative points I can mention. Another one is the waiting times for a document work at Ausländerbehörde. Here in Stuttgart it is the worst as far as I see. \nAnother thing I dont like is to pay so much to the health insurance and at the end you even cannot get an appointment when you have a tooth ache for instance. \nAnother rather cultural difficulty is that you cannot find a place in the society, Germans do not make friends and when you only make friends with expats then it does not feel you are a part of the society. At least from my understanding.\n\nPositively enough, I have not yet faced racism in my daily life etc. \n\nI would be thinking to leave Germany one day maybe, but for another german speaking country probably.

I do think it's worth pointing out that the cheap labour reduces incentives for companies to invest in increasing productivity. I think the high real estate costs might be a problem too - too much of Canada's available capital is going towards expanding housing supply and not enough on better technology - software, equipment, etc. I think part of the stagnant productivity has been due to lack of investment in technology, rather than laziness of workers. It's also worth pointing out that a lot of the workforce has been in government, which has been spending more and more money while not having much to show for it, so productivity in the government is another issue too. Bureaucracy and red tape can also be detrimental to productivity in both governments and the private sector. Maybe Canada needs more competitiveness (ex with telecommunications). Lack of training could be an other obstacle to productivity, or for example... not speaking English properly. Sometimes when I get customer service with an Indian, I have to make him repeat 5 times because of his extremely thick accent. He might not be lazy and trying his best, but still not very productive. \n\nWith slavery in the US, the South has been rather inefficient with their labour because slaves were relatively cheap (still had to feed and house them). Another difference is that family and kinship is valued so Indians work together to build themselves up. They may have to live in crowded housing but they r working to save to be able to buy their own homes. The problem with White people is they don’t have family unity, they view having children and inconvenience. They don’t realize that those children will become their safety net as they get older. Family helps each other out, those Indians would do anything to keep a family member from living in the streets. This would put their family in shame in their community. Canadians have something to learn from the Indians. By the way their religion disapproves of alcohol & drugs so they don’t have that problem. Where wil they be housed? Germany talks of needing Foreign Skilled Professionals. Where are the homes? The Country has acute shortage of Homes, something many people don't discuss.
