This actually is a benefit to both Canada and America and creates domestic industry. More then 75% of Canadian exports don't even go to the USA. Canada, America and Russia have the most resources independently from each other then any other countries in the world. Thankfully he's talking about the drug problem but not the visa scandal and illegal mass immigration problem that's collapsing the social assistance and medical systems. Its gonna be tough as you justify raising prices by selling out every Canadian citizen to foreign investment.

I’m an Indigenous American here, I say if Canada was really our friend then they would understand that they have been taking advantage of our countries kindness for too long and it’s time they step up.. Drug use in America, particularly the fentanyl crisis, is a significant issue that requires attention from the government. If American citizens weren't using fentanyl, the demand for it in the market would decrease. However, during his administration, Trump often shifted responsibility for problems rather than addressing them directly. Additionally, the tariffs he implemented had widespread negative effects, impacting people both domestically and globally for the benefit of his administration.

What has this got to do with putin tho. Did he allow Fentanyl to enter the United States thru Cananda? No Canada did. Is he the one not doing enough to stop Fentanyl entering the united states? no Canada did. Maybe if Trudeau could just use the effort he is using to oppose America right now to eliminate Fentanyl from Canada. it would resolve the problem.

And this is why I do not follow CNN. This came up in my feed, and I wanted to hear what Trudeau had to say. And I wanted to hear him speak in French. But no, you booger globs must think that there are no people in America who speak French, and no people in America who would like to hear him speak French. You are part of the problem, CNN. And then to hear this woman say what she says after that talk is just appalling to me. Lady, you are a turncoat. You do not have your ethics and morals in place. Anti-American? Anti-American? In America, no politician is allowed to have a vision that will benefit the people and the nation. The essence of America is to be consumed by corporate America until money chooses to leave the country when America runs out of incentives to keep it on its soil. As long as the purpose of America is to keep the dollar as a world currency and make it easy for business to operate on its soil, America politicians cannot make an acceptable proposition to the Americans left behind. America is a money making machine for corporate America and an indebtedness machine for the nation and its citizens. This love affair with money will sooner or later break the country. It is taboo to speak about the source of America's problems.

I'm Canadian and I highly dislike Trudeau. But he is correct when he asks how do you negotiate with someone who wants to annex your country? I would suppose Trump supporters would have no problems with a hostile and aggressive foreign property developer targeting their homes. The world needs a strong America but you have lost your way. I fear the world is in for dark times

The problem is America is in debt.

Trump is trying to equalize trade between countries and convince American manufacturing companies to comeback to America and or stay in America. The problem is that Canada enjoys American friendship as long as it is costing America hundreds of billions of dollars. Trump simply wants a fair playing field. Why must America always take the short end of the stick. The moment we get a government that ask for things to be fair all these countries that have benefited rush to complain.

I’m not a fan of Trudeau but he speaks in a calm rational manner. He is polite but firm. I’m an American and although I agree with some of Trumps ideas, being rude and not thinking things through before acting, is inexcusable. We have enemies all over the world and now we have even turned our friends against us. The drug problem is an American problem, not Canada or Mexico. We can’t keep guns from entering Mexico, arming the cartels, how can we expect the Mexican government to keep drugs out of America?

Why Canada, Mexico, or any other country in the world doesn’t have the problem of drugs except United States of America. Why is that.? Think about it, we are the consumer and want to Party Up like there is no tomorrow. So Donald trump get your S.H.I.# in gear and clean up your mess first before you point fingers.

I have no problem with Canadians, they have a kind and dedicated leader, America is weak with rude, wack leadership right now.

Less than 1% of the population in America is in our Military. 1% of our problems coming from Canada is a lot of people and drugs.

Trump and MAGAism won't last for ever. The real problem is that the longer this madness continues, the longer the US will take to get back it's power and influence. The rest of the world understands that the problem comes from an incapable and illiterate leader but it also understands that this could happen again. America might take decades to regain trust. I’m also a veteran and voted for Trump.. I stand with the USA not Canada.. don’t have problems with Canada but I support my president and trust in what he is doing.. give him a chance… if he doesn’t do what he says and doesn’t make America great again will vote him out… look at all the previous president clowns in office. In a sense I know why (optics), but in another sense, I don’t. Why do so many insist on retaliating against Trump’s tariffs with more or higher tariffs of their own? I think it’d be so much more effective if someone said, “You know, we’ve thought about this, and we have come to realize that tariffs are really bad. So starting tomorrow, we will respond by getting rid of all our tariffs. This will make everything we import more affordable. It will make us richer. We hope other countries will join us! If America insists on making everything they import more expensive, lowering their standard of living, that’s their prerogative and problem!”

I really want to be a part of Canada. They have the most educated culture and the largest middle class in the world right now. And I respect them as a people. Damn in America, what the hell is wrong with us? The USA president Trump wants everything to be manufactured and sourced locally from the United States of America. He knows what happened during COVID-19 and what problems the world experienced because of a global supply chain. Im confused...where is the US border patrol? Canada doesn't check people going into America, right? Its US border patrol that checks people coming into America, no? Why is Canada getting blamed for the US border patrol problems? Just like criminals going from America into Canada, is it not Canadian border patrols' responsibility to keep Canada safe?
