Dear Justin, 75 million Americans voted against Donald Trump in the recent election. We appreciate your speaking directly to us today and in recent speeches you have given. We know what a good ally you have been to the US and we also know your primary concern is to Canadian citizens. While many of us have done what we could do and we also know the current trade arrangement was negotiated with you by Donald Trump in his previous term which leaves many of us scratching our heads. For my part it deeply saddens me that this has happened and all we ask or all that I ask is that you remember those of us who did not vote for this. Slightly less than half of the country. When this is over, and it will end one day we look forward to breaking bread with Canada again.

Mr. Trudeau, I didnt vote for, nor do I consider Chump my president! I'm ashamed of what is going to happen to my fellow Americans and our allues!

To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. 3rd generation American here, I too stand with Canada, the UK, Mexico and Europe, not with Russia, China or the communist worshiping president that I did NOT vote for. I’m am Ukrainian Canadian and over the last few days I see how the new US government’s policy ruining everything we all believe in so dearly: democracy, friendship, helping shoulder to those who needs support against the bloody dictators, and firing thousands of people without cause who provided cybersecurity, guarded fairness of your elections… all being flashed down the toilet. And I watch it being replaced with bulling those who is bleeding, stabbing the friends and neighbors, singing praise to the war criminals charged for crimes against humanity with unlawful deportation and transfer of 20,000 Ukrainian children into russia. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? I think I know who he made the deal with... And to those who voted for him: do you still believe this will lead you and your country to greatness?? One single fact that both Moscow and Beijing celebrate watching what’s happening should raise your eyebrows and question your decision to bring this man into power.
