This is me a decade ago moving from Phils to Canada. I never felt at home in the country of my birth — I hated the traffic and the monsoon rains (it can rain for months). I know a lot of nationalities rave about our tropical country & beautiful beaches but it also has become unaffordable for us the citizens. We became Canadians 5 yrs ago & have grown from 4 to 6 (2 Canada born kids) & now have 2 properties. It has worked for us but it was also not easy uprooting our lives & starting over. I don’t think we will ever find our home anywhere. Previously my husband and I also lived in the US (before kids). It is truly a privilege to be here but I always feel I am sojourner, always traveling & always searching. I hope you find your peace wherever life takes you. If you go to Delhi on a visitor visa, why would the Indian government approve you of a post-graduation work permit or permanent residency? This is because India is not a country who have policies or programs for student visas or permanent residency for immigrants. Yes, indeed, they should not demand permanent residency, but it is not the students who make these immigration programs including student visas or temporary work permits or pr, it's the Canadian government who introduced all these policies, and if somebody is applying for student visa and spending $50000 for studies, they are applying because they see potential for permanent residency and that's how immigration websites do the marketing for attracting the international students. If they had known that work permits or pr is not possible through any programs, they would not have applied at the first point. It's the government's responsibility to make it clear on their policies or on immigration websites. Now they started making it strict by closing those programs but it's too late, what about the people who are already here invested their money. They did not enter Canada by just waking up one day and thought lets go Canada. The government welcomed them and they approved them. The argument of the reporter is totally wrong because they did not know that they would face hatred or racism when they applied for student visas. Now they saw a large population and started hating.

I agree some people take the hate comments way too far, but when people are watching the country they love fall apart, it's easy for them to believe it would be better off if we went back in time to before the mass migration started.

Im living since 2016 in Canada. Im dump truck driver, i hate your government, im iranian Cristian, i don't know why immigration office just using foreign people like me??? I don't know why immigration doesn't give me a PR card ???? But someone from Ukraine get a PR card ??? Very easy?? Trudeau supports what he wants , no matter the effect it has on Canadians or would be Canadians. An election is coming up, he is the most hated Prime Minister in history. It is law of the land, like it or not just accept it. I did my masters from United States, and later worked there for a decade. As person born in India, I can never get green card of the United States. After leaving to India for good, I realized I cannot adjust in India, US would never accept me, so I came to Canada. But like every person who moved from US to Canada, not a day goes without missing the US. People in Canada are amazed why I left US and came to Canada. People from other country of birth can easily get US green card and eventually citizenship, but I can never get one. So should I start hating the US? Nope. I am grateful to US for everything. I came from a poor family in India, with less than 8000 USD in my parents saving. I studied in US free of cost sponsored by research grants, did top notch academic research, and worked on top notch industrial research. Due to which I had no issues finding job in India, and directly got interview and job offer in Canada, Sweden and UK while sitting at my home in India.\nUS would always be my home, does not matter I have a green card or not. I would always remember US and miss it, in good memory.

We are inviting and welcoming but when you take advantage of are country we start to hate you stop it

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. And people that will say they want to bring there parents to Canada most of t he time it is cold and they will be inside so it’s better for your parents to live in india. Personally. I have my parents they live in GOA with me they can’t be happier.

Solution is easy, we have the most powerful military on the planet, the lack of desire to solve it by the government is problem. Infact they like it, they think it's a good thing.\nThe immigration problem could be solved over night, start securing the borders, and punish anyone helping migrants, cut off all benefits, and start deporting people. It wouldn't be beyond the capability of this country to do so. Make it suck for people coming here, and they'll leave, if they don't leave peacefully, then hey're not guest and are therefore hostile invaders and declare them enemy combatants. This won't happen because the US government hates the US people.

All you have to do is put 2 and 2 together. Look at what's happening around the world. We're not the only country allowing millions of people in, and we're not the only country embracing socialism. This is a globalist movement coordinated by multiple governments to push their agenda of eliminating nationalism so they can retain power thru elections. The more elections they win in a row, the more they'll start to change laws and constitutional rights by packing the Supreme Court. They've already started appointing many woke DA's and prosecutors. They've corrupted the FBI, DOJ and military. They have tenured woke professors at our most prestigious schools and they're destroying law enforcement. Combine that with the weakness and corruption this administration has shown the last 4 years and it's created a soft, unmotivated, and divided country. The loyalists and patriots who understand what's going on and want our country back are starting to be outnumbered by people who are woke, brainwashed, misinformed and straight up hate us.

Canada is become one of the worst countries and their dealing with one of the worst presidency the kamla and Biden presidency who have made these laws in conjunction to bring in as many illegals as they can just like they flew them in this will be another time they try to steal the election and with a legal votes I think you're going to find Americans are about to go to Civil War because they're tired of this they're tired of their country being stolen by people who work for us it's time for us to make changes we may have to throw everyone out of our government and start again folks because our government is so corrupt and so hated everywhere

When India start hate a country then the problems erupt

This video is exclusively for students and people who are going without any research. I was on temp visa and got PR in a year. Dru*s is a problem every big city in US too. Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. Those who moved out earned good money and came back to India are happier now cos they have the money to function in india and international exposure. It depends where you are in life now and what you are leaving behind. Indian universities are great, and studies are top-notch. However unemployment is still big issue. Do your research, evaluate your options and take a call. And if it didn't work out you can always go back.

Canada is also a place where being a criminal is far more honorable and beneficial to local communities. Because that illegal money flows into local economies. Not to mention their medieval justice system, you can be charged for crimes based on some random persons complaint even if they're wrong, basically depending on your demographic you can have the system weaponized against you. The problem is greed stupidity and corruption. we think that voting for some other vegetable in a suite is going to change anything. we flip flop between 2 parties that both serve themselves and their buddies. We need to start over and build a system that has rules based on logic and totally blind to who they apply to. Canadais a joke and the people are powerless and don't do a thing about it. Lazy cowardly little sheeple. I was born here and I hate it... Ya wanna know who thinks canada and canadians are loved worldwide and who think their country is the most liberal and advanced.. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. Its interesting because this same tactic has been used by others before when trying to push out native tribes and native groups.\nThey would slowly, but surely take over everything, and the people being used to do it don't understand when the native populace start to hate their peoples, whoever is managing india needs to be spoken to, why does their population keep increasing so much they fill other countries, yet their own home country is garbage filled and full of toxic fumes from pollution.\nThey have enough money to put towards space flights and such, yet not one dime to the dirty rivers and polluted cities or the criminal groups in their own country.

I lived in canada for past 35 years. I am married with 3 kids. I work like a dog 60 hrs a week , i pay heavy taxes on my salary soo the government can give away hard tax payers money to people who scam the system. Examples are walfare and ontario works. I know people that get $1350 minimum on odsp and they are more than capable of working but choose to scam the sysytem collect free money and work cash jobs for less money and take away jobs from others. Hate this country now and cant wait to leave and shift else where were i can happily retire and watch my kids grow up and spend time with my family since everything in canada is soo expensive i have to work overtime and my wife also started working part time?

I hate to say this, but we have reverted and it’s not just a dark place to live. It’s a Third World country and only the privileged to benefit from it. I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. This is a housing crisis issue that has been so poorly managed that these deeply rooted symptoms are beginning to show.

There is substantial lesson here for pseudo patriotic Indians. They strongly display hate for any real or perceived slight to India. If there are some illegal Bangladeshis, every one gets on social media and denegrates whole of Bangladesh. If there is political disagreement with Maldivians, entirely boycott all things Maldive, stop food export to them and spew unvarnished hate on social media. There are more examples like these. \n\nWhat's the flip side of these hyper wrapping yourselves around the flag behavior? Indians on the whole are super sensitive and over reacting.\n\nPeople from those countries start hating india and Indians when they see what trends in indian social media against their countries.\n\nTime to tune down the rhetoric. I totally expect a barrage of negativity to these comments, but this is how I see it. Mature democracies don't behave like this.

I'm an immigrant and my immigrant friends and I were talking about exactly this just the other day. I'd like to add some context on why so few international students stay: they can't. Schools prey on this very fact. In international recruiting, these schools use the promise of thriving local industries and trot out graduates working locally as major draws to these expensive programs. Then once students are in Canada, many of these schools couldn't care less: they offer little or sometimes no housing support, no immigration advice (or in my case and many of my friends' cases: they give straight-up false immigration advice that can screw you over or even get you in trouble). There absolutely needs to be regulation and accountability for these predatory schools; I think a good starting point would be capping the number of visas they can apply for based on the number of housing units available (either on-campus or via local development subsidy and homestays). Tons of students come to Canada completely unprepared due to false promises made by these schools, and then get spit out into an egregiously inefficient and broken work visa system.\nMy immigrant friends and I are all highly skilled in our specific field. There are only a handful of people in the world (let alone in Canada) who can do what I do at the level I do it, so I would be incredibly difficult to replace if I left Canada. Despite that, and despite being Canadian-educated (Canadian resources invested in me that you'd want to keep in Canada), remaining in Canada has been a massive struggle for me and my friends. We individually spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars every year to apply for permits that have to be renewed annually, but take the government 6+ months to process. Because the government is so backed up, we have to apply for *extra* permits to bridge that gap (more money, and more work added to IRCC's already-long line of applications). I'm in limbo for the majority of the year where I can't switch employers, can't leave the country, etc. It's horrible. \nBut I have it better than most. Of the international students in my year, only I and one other student are still in Canada because the transition to work permits is so needlessly long and difficult. Even a graduate who does manage to get a work permit might have to sit unemployed for 6 months or more before that permit is active. How is a student supposed to survive without work for that long? In order for employers to even apply to sponsor a graduate, they often have to do a lengthy labor market impact assessment, and so these graduates are stuck in a holding pattern, and they're the lucky ones. Immigration is absolutely vital to Canada and I hate how quickly these stories turn to xenophobic rhetoric, but we have to make space in the conversation to take a look at how schools are exploiting students and policy loopholes, and why they're doing it, and address those problems. The current system isn't fair to anyone.

Basically you're arguing against multiculturalism, just without realising it or at least not expressing it that way.\n\nAnd although im a traditional liberal left winger, I've come to agree actually, I would hate for Canada, which is a largely secular country built upon judeo Christian beliefs end up something else entirely just to appease one particular religious group.\n\nI lived in the middle east for almost 6 years and it was a fascinating experience as well as rewarding from a career and financial perspective.\n\nOf course I had to comply with local cultural norms, which I absolutely did as I'm a respectful person but had I not done so I would have been shown the door / the inside of a prison cell. If I started complaining that Islam was homophobic or arguing about the hijab that would not have gone well for me.\n\nI think in the West we need to start being much more explicit about our values - such as freedom of speech - and not lose them down to a woke fear of offending minority groups.

then Cost of Living in Tunisia went (x 3 )in less then 2 years but at least we have sun almost 8 months the year and the winter isnt that Winter for us its just cold but we got sun somehow even in january and the sea is swimmable from may until october so yea \n\nPS : I prayed somtimes to God that i wished and want to Go to Canada But unfortuanly the door was closed and Now i understand he just wanted me To stay Close to him since i found the true path and asked God to guide me and never let me go away from Him So YES GOD didnt want me to struggle and iam so Glad , im taking note and i share same things with you guys and my wish for Canada starting to vanish , specially the Cold part i dislike that , better go to a muslim country where you can find the Sun the warmness the Mosquee , people who doesnt hate , Halal Food etc

if not for covid I would likely have left myself by now. Trudeau has made living here unbearable, I never seen a PM hate his own people as much as this clown. I'm born Canadian and at least from my mom's side at least 5 generation. Dad was immigrant from Barbados. Somehow Trudeau has been able to triple our debt owed yet everything has gotten worse in this country. Unfortunately I lost my job during Covid and ended up spending most of my savings and retirement. So having to start from ground zero again which is infuriating. I would SOOOO love to be living in somewhere in south east asia right now Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, etc.

I'm a revert from the Netherlands and I'm having the same thoughts... The weather is fine for me, but the propaganda from the lgtv+ community, inflation, hate and prejudice for Islam, supporting genocide etc. is all making me doubt my home country and I really want to leave... I know of 2 Indian and 1 Pakistani families that moved bax to the homeland innthe past year. My father moved back to Hungary at the start of the pandemic after being here for 37 years. I'm thinking of doing the same because my current government clearly hates me and is deliberately running the country into the ground.

I mean we have people here that can't even speak English or French and are accepted by immigration. Some people openly says that they hate Canada and are only here to send money to their family in their own country. ? Government is not encouraging their own people to have children which is what keeps a country healthy. They rather immigration people than making their own people happy to have them live happy by having affordable housing and have a family. Quite impossible right now, my wife and I are starting to have huge problems financially and we both make 75 000+ a year with one child. We can't have another till we can afford to have another housing is unaffordable and we can't ruin our selves to reach our goal of having 3+ children. Hey, be negative. I hate the positivity cult. Be honest. The world is falling apart. Let's not mince words. This is a global crisis. America has been crap for a long time, but it's sad to see Canada now going through the same, and deteriorating. Such a beautiful country. I remember being there years ago, and the energy was so much lighter, uplifting, and I always loved this about Canada in general. It was always the nicer bit of N. America....but now it's much like what the USA is experiencing with insane prices, housing crisis, drugs, crime, homelessness, etc. I don't feel this will get better anytime soon. I think we need to demand some serious changes, and they need to start with forcing down the costs of living, whether they like it or not. It's a giant scam. Anyone who knows what is really going on, and why, knows that it's not even 'the market', but it's predatory price gouging. People are charging high prices because they can, not because it's actually worth that. And no one is stopping them. Same with food, and everything else.

I live in Canada from last 11 years. I was super happy when Trump government wanted to create skilled based immigration system same like Canada express entry system (Canada started it in 2014). But history proves that they were a great investment to America. So many became successful business people, they became second generation President to the USA like Andrew Jackson, Grover Cleveland, J. F Kennedy, R Regan, etc, and not to forget many Irish in Law enforcement, and the military. So stop thinking that these people are taxing your resources, they may do short term just to help them settle in, but in the long term they are asset's. These people will get employment, pay taxes, start businesses, employ people etc. Think of the glass half full and not half empty. I hate this so much. I know it’s not these peoples fault that their countries aren’t helping them but America isn’t even helping its own people. Imagine how it feels to be from the US struggling and then these people come and somehow our country has the means to help them when they won’t not can’t won’t help their own. What other country do you know of where you can just decide to cross their boarder demand help and say you know what I’m just going to live here illegally now. And if we don’t help them they have all kinds of ways to sue the state and demand help even though they’re not even citizens. That’s what’s crazy to me. Any countries borders are important they are there for protection. Ours are not being protected which means the country is not protected. Leaving so little left to actually do anything with. As a 5th generation Canadian I have struggled all my life to just keep food and home to live and raise my kids on very little. Now due to what has happened in Canada and the economy, inflation, skyrocketing housing prices, my kids will never be able to own a home in their own country. It's sickening. Canada is cold. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore.
