I'm sorry our Canadian's fellows, this is not personal, it's just business. All this year the USA economy has been decreased because we buy (importing) more goods than selling (exporting). We are no in good shape economically to support other countries' economies. We need companies to come back to produce in the USA and those extra charges are an incentive to start producing again in the USA. After our economy is better, we can make new deals. \nAbout Fentanyl, it is funny that he said that it was all good and after that, saying just in the last months implemented all kinds of security measures. LOL \nHe speaks nice, but he is not a smart guy. Putting tariffs back to the USA makes it worse with Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a businessman, he can keep increasing the taxes and in the end, Canada will be hurt more than the USA. I suggest to peacefully open a negotiation with Trump, not to fight back at the same level... don't take it personally, it is just business.

Every country should be responsible for their own goods. The day we start relying on other countries for what we need we're in a heck of a mess. Because China couldn't get our merchandise to our plant we had to shut down for almost a month. We messed up sending some of our work to China. After this we got everything in the US. Cheaper prices are not the solution. Cheaper labor is not the answer. Trump is concerned about the drugs coming into our country and since the borders are affected these drugs will be coming into our country many other ways. You know where criminals go to get out of the US. Canada. Trump is doing this for our country and you can bet on this. I'm sick of drugs in our country killing people everyday. I'm sick of guns but just about every household owns guns. Children are killed in their own homes with guns. Who cares about alcohol being sold in their state. Honestly. People are homeless because of addiction to alcohol. Yeah saying president Trump using fentanyl for this for this trade war was a bad move. President Trump is doing this for the drugs taking over this country.

Fentanyl has to get into Canada before it can cross our border. Which border is he talking about, entry or exit?

I am never a fan of our Prime Minister but today, he got my full respect and admiration. We all know it is not about Fentanyl or illegal immigrants crossing from Canada as little as they were. Donald Trump is just using these as excuse. He is cozying up with US' one of two prime adversaries - Russia and China - and whacking friends and allies, alienating the United States. The fentanyl is made in China. The Chinese bring some to Mexico and COMES TO AMERICA IN VEHICLES CROSSING THE BORDER THROUGH LEGAL POINTS OF ENTRANCE. Hey Canada/Trudeau if you don’t want the tariffs from President Trump then remove your limiting factors on American goods to equal the playing field! Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good. What exactly did Trudeau do against Fentanyl in Canada? He could've ended the entire countries homelessness and created drug rehab facilities for everyone with the amount of money he sent to Ukraine. He probably could've used the military equipment that was shipped to patrol the border and prevent more of the drug entering the country.

Yes Fentanyl is a terrible thing. But I know for a fact its the 1st thing they give you in the hospital now a days in Canada for pain not sure about the United States. Obviously in very very small doses but im sure the price us right.
