I live in El Paso. They didn’t even set foot in the US. They rushed the Mexican side of the bridge, not the US. Also, I saw someone labeling them “Mexican,” but they’re Venezuelans. Mexicans are tired of having to house them and there’s been a lot of xenophobic attacks against them.

In Dallas I’m paying 1686 for a 650 square foot single bedroom. That’s before internet and electric. But I got friends who got rent controlled property in LA for 200 a month. As a kenyan living in the UK for the past 7 yrs ,i came into conclusion that theres something not right about nigerians living abroad, among all africans ive met here in England, its only nigerians that never loves their country compared to other africans, ive met south africans ,cameroonians ghanians ugandans malawians liberians and Gambians all of them are proud of their respective countries and they tend to go back whenever they get the opportunity, i inclusive i do go back to kenya like every december coz i just cant stand being in the UK the entire year without going back home for a couple of weeks ...when it comes to nigerians ive met over here theres something always off, they hate their country sooo much to an extent one told me nigeria is a country in ICU ,some even told me they can set foot in africa but not nigeria..so nigerians tell me wats soo bad about your country that you tend to run away from it, even in my home country kenya there are estates designated for nigerians..Besides i prefer being in UK than in north america coz of the distance i cant imagine being in US or canada coz of the flight hours ,they're sooo far away from my country i love it in the UK coz its closer to home and i dont need connecting flights in most cases when going to kenya.

While visiting North Dakota we decided to cross the border for no other reason than to set foot in Canada. We got the full treatment. If I had realized it was such an involved process I would not have bothered them. Much easier crossing the border into Texas. You just stroll right in and nobody says shit to you because that would be racist.

I'm of Scottish/Irish descent and few people are whiter than I am plus I have freckles and auburn hair. I had just moved to Orlando and dropped off several prescriptions to an Eckerd's drugstore. Rather than leaving and returning 30 to 45 minutes later decided to look around and see the store layout for future reference. I wasn't wearing a coat and I never opened my purse. I got my prescriptions and left the store. An alarm beeped and the manager came outside, grabbed my arm and yanked me back into the store. A security guard watched as I was taken into a little office, had my purse contents dumped on the floor and was told I must have stolen something. I pointed out the teenagers who were blatantly stuffing things in cargo pants pockets. They ignored them. After pawing through my things I was told I could put the stuff back in my purse. I demanded the manager pick up everything and put it on his desk and then I'd put it in my purse. As I left the alarm rang again. We realized the Stone Mountain metal label on the front of my purse set off the alarm. He never apologized. I called the corporate office and was told he'd get a reprimand. I could have charged him with assault. Grabbing me and forcing me into his store and office against my will violated FL laws. I never set foot in that store again and warned everyone I met not to. It may have been a coincidence but the store was shut down within 6 months. Others of different races said that manager had harassed them, too.

As a former best buy employee for 3 years, I can confirm they enforce a 10 foot 10 second rule. If a customer is withing 10 feet of you, you have 10 seconds to greet and share your name with the customer. This is two fold- yes, to help reduce shoplifting, but also to encourage sales. This is something I share and reference with my sales team in a different setting now, however, I can confirm as an experienced sales person, the technique works to achieve both outcomes. It's super sad to see it being used for the wrong purpose in this clip. I think it shows a lot of racial bias. I'm curious what ethnicities the employees were that approached each shopper.

The difference between the 60,000 Vietnamese boat people that came to Canada and the current wave of refugees is that the boat people were by and large law abiding people who are willing to accept our law, customs, culture and way of life. Several of my close friends are boat people. The current wave of refugees want Canada to adopt their way of life, some are abusive to local residence and are disrespectful to our culture, their neighbours and damage the hotels that they stay in when they first set foot in this country. I am all for accepting refugees. But send them back if they refuse to integrate into our society.

Canada and the U.S have a treaty or whatever saying applicants for asylum have to apply in the country they first set foot in. Good luck dude.
