It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that when you let the amount of new immigrants into Canada in the last 3 years that exceeds the total immigrants admitted in the prior 10 years, you are going to see major shelter inflation. Couple that with a low-interest rate policy post GFC and leave rates for that low for that long and you are going to witness an epic housing crisis. But not just that - these new immigrants become fodder of cheap labor that pushes out our very own Canadian citizens from these positions, with the more marginalized ones ending up on the streets.\n\nThere is a Motel 6 in my neighborhood that has been taken over by the Canadian government and converted to temporary housing for new immigrants. All paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Why isn't our own government using these funds to fix the housing crisis, or help it's own citizens with more affordable housing but instead they continue to exacerbate this problem by letting a huge wave of immigrants that overwhelms the Canadian infrastructure. More proof? Notice more locked up goods in your local stores? The demand shock has pushed the cost of living for everything from food to shelter that these Indians who are these same new immigrants are resorting to shoplifting, and extortion!\n\nIf you are going to bring in immigrants to prop up Canada's aging demography at least tighten your admission standards and bring in more educated ones, with more liberal, more considerate and more courteous dispositions. Trudeau has got to go.

The Trudeau Liberals have used immigration to keep top line GDP numbers high. What people don’t talk about are GDP per capita figures falling below 2014 levels. Gen Z Canadians are the first generation in the history of the nation to have had worse living standards than their parents. \n\nEngland is a window into the future. You forgot to mention that a large majority of MP’s are landlords or have investments in real estate rentals. The trend was visible since 2004. The worst part that even if this mess were to get somehow fixed, prices will not go down, because businesses know that Canadians will pay for more. These rats don’t care, once they have done their business here, they’ll move to Texas, Florida, or California, or some Caribbean country. They’ll keep working as a “international relations” or some sort of public relations relations position for a private company that will give them millions, to use their networks and influence to speed up projects in Canadian communities. They’ll reap the benefits of spending less in the united states, while still sucking Canadians dry through their rental real properties or whatever else they have an interest to spike up the cost of while they are in office.

This gov't can't do anything right. That's because they have a different agenda about immigration than what it's supposed to be. Initially, the Canadian gov't would take in a certain amount of immigrants per year based on the needs of the country. All immigrants were vetted from those that applied through the proper channels i.e. LEGALLY. Canada needed certain types of workers to fill a need in a certain industry, it would prioritize those newcomers with those skills and education. But now, it's a free for all and it has nothing to do with industry nor economic needs. It's instead all about the numbers of voters that are likely to keep the Liberals in power. That's it in a nutshell. It's all about power and control. Same thing with catering to special interest groups. The gov't cares nothing about hard working middle-class taxpayers. And if this creates divisions among Canadians, too bad as long as it fills their purpose of staying in power forever. And they do it by lying and using political correctness and punishment for speaking up as a threat. Canadians are now accused of 'racism', 'Islamophobia' and 'xenophobia' if they even question the issue of immigration. It's all a political game meant to keep the politicians in control, well fed and wanting for nothing while the hard working Canadian is stressed to the max trying to make ends meet.

As much as I love decent Indian people and love their culture, the influx of east Asians due to the liberal governments slack immigration policies also brings with it the opportunists, the criminals, and the gangs that have no intention of assimilating. To them it's business as usual while exploiting everything Canada has to offer. Now coast to coast in all major cities we have east asian criminals that don't care about shootouts in public or any other type of violence. Oh and thanks for taking away our means of protecting ourselves while they use weapons smuggled in from the U.S.

the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

I'm South Asian. My sister used to live in Brampton actually before the whole invasion began. Good thing she saw the writing on the wall and left. Sad thing is, many can not differentiate the browns who have immigrated pre 1990 and the ones who have come in post-pandemic. The ones coming in post-pandemic are the village trash, entitled, and snobby. Those people are the very same reasons we left our countries to begin with. It's wild that when we migrated to Canada we see the very same filth and trashy people we experienced decades ago before immigrating here. The worst mistake I have done in my time in Canada was to vote Liberal (for the first time ever) back in 2015 and many of us regret this choice.

Canada sucks. Lived here my whole life. 34 years near Toronto. Here's a list of other stuff not mentioned.\n1) terrible school system. Basically go private or subject your kids to liberal ideology and creative learning which puts math and literacy scores at a 20 year low.\n2) terrible Healthcare system. You can wait in line for 1 hour at a walk in clinic. 6 hours at emergency. There's hardly any doctors working.\n3) terrible transit. The public transit is outdated. The roads are always busy with 3 year long construction projects. They actively reduce road lanes to add in bicycle lanes, that are only uses half the year because no one rides a bicycle in -10 degree C. But yeah, we'll still plow the bike lane with tax payer $.\n4) increase in crime. More recent development but lets say it started picking up during the lockdowns in 2020. A lot of immigrants that don't give a f about the law. They don't give a f about the police. They get out on bail the next day. They do crime in broad daylight. It's insane. I don't feel safe. Plus, it's hard to own firearms in canada. You can't protect yourself.\n5) no cultural cohesion. The culture sucks. Bland, boring, fake.\n\nHonestly, stay away from Canada. The only thing it had going for it was it polite and safe. But now it's a crime spree out there. Last I heard, 55 car jacking happen everyday.

The carbon tax, intended to address environmental concerns, is ineffective, unnecessary, and nothing short of a cash grab by the Liberal Govt.\n\nIt's crucial for the government to recognize these problems and take steps to resolve them, but that won't happen with Trudeau in power. I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Ideaologies and climate change are being used as a smoke screen to shame those who oppose this many immigrants or being over taxed, its a form of narcissistic abuse on the population. I could care less if we can't staff drive-thrus. Nobody should have to pay someone else's mortgage to live in a house they'll never own themselves. The middle income high school kids use to enjoy part time jobs saving for school and then sustain themselves part time during their higher education. Now with the flood of international students, refugees and illegal immigrants they have decimated the part time employment opportunities. The other spin off consequence is the competition for limited housing have allowed the mercenary landlords to jack up the rent beyond the ability for the average person to afford. Trudope and his band of political defectives are responsible for this train wreck. The liberal mission is to flood society with huge numbers of beholding voters with their welfare and support of the newcomers in an attempt to influence and buy the next federal election.

The liberals have been using immigrants for a while now to prop up the economy and buy votes, eventually the Ponzio scheme would start to fall apart and we are starting to see that now. I've always planned on staying a Canadian my whole life... but today... A fool runs my increasingly shameful country... no longer proud to be Canadian... we still have almost 2 more years of this left (getting worse and worse in a very fast way) and in all honesty... practically all the Liberal parties firmly held convictions disgust me in one way or another. We were once a place where immigrants got a better life, but not its all just instrumental to prop up the ego of a man boy who is very uniquely unworthy and crooked.

Immigration should be paused 100% until life of all CANADIANS is back to levels it once used to be ( 80s, 90s, early 2000s )...in fact it should be BETTER and MORE affordable. Canada is ruining the lives of its own citizens and giving hand outs to foreigners who often come here to use and abuse the systems CANADIANS pay toward. It is essentially treason - what has happened to Canada and Canadians by the Liberals and past holders of power.

No, Liberal media and Trudeau team all got it wrong again. International student are rich and educated people. They don't stay in low income housing areas like Trudeau team think these people are using up all rental apartments. They rent lux condos. In the long run, if they want to settle here, they bring money into the country, and they're good for the economy vs many uneducated poor immigrants ended up into gangs. All of the reasons except for #2 and #7 are due to the liberal government policies in BC. For example #3 is a rising issue because they changed how the drug laws were enforced by the police about 20-30yrs ago. Not arresting open drug use in public like they should be as an example. Now they have stores you can buy cocaine in BC. Abusing drugs and homelessness and random violence all go hand in hand.\n\nThe cost of rent in BC is due to foreign home/property ownership getting absolutely out of control. No meaningful rules or regulations to slow this down have been made. The population growth talked about is the unsustainable immigration the Trudeau government has been doing for the past 5 years.

Reason number 10 you should've added is Culture. Many immigrants that come here do not get used to the Canadian culture and get homesickness, especially if they leave family behind. And especially for Asian and Middle Eastern people, Culture and Family is everything, so they go back to their home country for that. Now, especially with this LGBTQ+ agenda in schools and Liberal influence, many immigrant parents are not happy about it, and that's why they leave Canada. So Culture is such an important factor, which I think should've been the 2nd biggest factor after the 1st factor being the high cost of living.

What frustrates me is that a lot of these immigrants are prone to vote Liberal or NDP. The problem with Canada is the leadership that they helped elect. Not all, but stats show this. When Canada comes back as a great country, these people will come back and then the cycle will repeat itself. This is why there should be a new law saying that in order to vote, one generation has to had lived in Canada for at least 20 years. Or else they'll just bounce back and forth and simply use Canada for its benefits, while we're the ones always fixing and rebuilding the country. I feel very bad for the people about to retire and now don't have enough because of the poor choices this government have made during these 8 years.

Canada used to be great until liberals decided to flood it with immigration. Most of them don’t even clarify to be there and makes me wonder they cheated the system and Canada has no clue.

This is cruel to say but The only immigrants staying are those who mooch on the social system. There are so many immigrants who don’t speak English or try to learn. They get their welfare checks and within 2 years they are back in their home country and just travel back to Canada to empty their bank accounts brimming with welfare money. Meanwhile highly trained immigrants can’t get jobs in their fields and can’t find a place to live and are taxed to death. Also the lack of a moral fabric in the society is making it difficult to raise children here, from the government promoting drug use,to kids being brainwashed in schools with all kinds of liberal ideology why would anyone want to put their kids through all that.

The homeless situation is man made created by Liberals. They opened boarder to the every one from across the world specially from African countries who flew their country for crimes.. Now its all over.. They also brought almost 2 million student without any housing and healthcare fix. Now I can see 4 to 5 students live in one room basement apartment each pay $700 a month.\n\nWe are now dropping below other G8 countries in terms of living standards. I remember back in early 90s when Harper was Prime Minister. He use to bring most wealthy business people to come here to open business and employ Canadian. I see this done a lot but there's a big difference between correlation and causation. Your Rbc example shows the top people all white, including women I may add. It's very ingenuous to claim racism based purely on who has risen to the top. Would you call the NBA racist because blacks overwhelmingly are represented or did they get there because they were the best? All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.
