As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. As a Canadian PR holder, the immigration system is broken. I am a skilled worker (an engineer), I graduated from a master's in Germany and speak fluent german. Housing is one of the negative points I can mention. Another one is the waiting times for a document work at Ausländerbehörde. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. I am Spanish and I am currently working and residing in Germany. And I can affirm that the same racism or discriminatory attitude that many complain about is also projected onto other immigrants. In my work there are Pakistanis who form groups among themselves and do not want to know anything about the rest, they are an example. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

I'm portuguese, we have many people from different ethnicities, and we are the 4th safest country in the world. You don't need to be monoethnic to be safe. In our case it would be historically innacurate with all the portuguese speaking countries around the world that have adopted most traces of the portuguese culture. Without int' students, how much do citizens have to pay to keep schools running? If you view it differently, the government also sells the PR through SV Visa because, let's be honest, if millions of investors have invested, there should be something or at least one globalized company, but there are none. From $75k to $200k, foreigners can buy PR for every family member. It is considered affordable for Asian families compared to the USA or Australia. On top of that, another scam is a carbon tax, which means the government needs to learn how to make money rather than invent taxes and sell dreams to foreigners.
