I As an American citizen can only hope that we would have a president in office with the intelligence, compassion and dignity that PM Trudeau has. At this time I am truly ashamed of my country. Especially the ones that put this hateful, revenge seeking, criminal monster in our White House. I stand with you 100% Canada. I also hope that maybe within the next year, trump will be gone. I don't know how or where but just gone. As intelligent as prime minister Trudeau is I have to disagree with one comment he made. trump is NOT a smart man. He is nothing but a 34 count convicted felon, rapist and criminal wannabe dictator. I shudder at the thought of the end of his four year disaster. What will our country do when we have no allies whatsoever. He loves russia and putin, His puppet master. He does not understand that Russia has never been our friend, is not our friend. And never will be our friend. He just loves putin because He wants to be just like him. He is the United States very own Adolf Hitler. Also , I have removed our flag from my front yard that I so proudly displayed my entire life. It will be raised again but only after this nightmare called trump is gone! Please accept the apology from millions of Americans that stand with you. We are truly sorry and we are suffering with you. God help us. And God Bless Canada ❤

This has been the low point in our country. I know there were other times in our history when the people didn't understand or not agree with the president, but every single time the president would explain to the people why he did what he did just like any person in that capacity. I have been on this Earth for over 65 years and this is the first time that I am appalled at what this idiot is doing. I cannot believe that over 50% of voters elected this buffoon all because they believed his idiotic campaign promises! Any normal minded individual knew as soon as he said these things that if he is elected, we were going to be in big trouble.

Im from Philippines but i understand so much the situation in America they support the weong president for the second time. I dont understand why so much dumb voters in AMERICA same as my country. To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. I just just don't understand what these blanket tariffs achieve for Americans. Firstly, employment in the US is at an all time high, if the aim is to bring back primary and manufacturing industries then it's just a myth. It's just pointless and mindless. Nobody wants to go back to working in heavy industry, people want high paying, highly specialized industries, this doesn't create that, it just makes cost of living higher so wages have to go up and cost of bringing in raw materials goes up, all things that discourage start up companies that employ well educated and skilled Americans

Maybe he should discuss the constant duty fees and border crossing fees for anything shipped from Canada to the USA that have been constantly rising for years; fees that his very own government sets. Maybe he should talk about Canada demanding that anyone that sells anything foodwise to anyone in Canada from the USA has to have a special Safe Food For Canadians Food License or the goods being shipped will be rejected at the US owners cost, seized by the border and held in storage at the US owners cost, and destroyed and billed to the US owner. A license that no one actually needs considering other legal and ethical controls are in place to prevent unsafe foods from crossing the border, but Canada reserves the right to make us pay for one or we suffer consequences. Maybe he should discuss how they left their borders open to migrants, making it much easier for criminal migrants to get into the US. Maybe he should understand that the US has always been bleeding money to Canada on a trade level for about half a century with it getting much worse in the last decade because Canada's government are greedy. Before any of you come at me, keep in mind I work in the food ingredient industry as an order processing, logistics and customs & border crossing and have done so for 15 years. These tariffs were a long time coming and if any of you are on the inside of trade in the manner I am, then you know what I'm saying is true. The US is constantly paying additional tariffs by way of duty fees, customs fees, certain applied taxes (like there is literally a blueberry tax to ship US grown blueberries into Canada to prevent US blueberries from taking over the Canadian blueberry market). The blueberry tax is about 25cents per lb. which drives the price per lb. up for the seller and buyer. You wanna know why Food costs so much? All of the above with a huge side helping of GREED.

Full support to canadian people but not these 3 jokers. what trump is doing is not good, even india is not acting like this when bangladesh is operating like a rabid dog, however what real canadians should understand is that their country's current situation is because of this 3 jokers. Canada should appoint leaders that has atleast some basic understanding of geopolitics. As an US resident, I am in no way in agreement with our government…..I hate the fact that our closest neighbors for centuries hate us. I am depressed every single day since Trump entered the White House the first time. Our former and greatest president allowed me a reprieve but now I am thinking about moving from this country due to my extreme depression. Our family helped build this country as we were here before the revolutionary war. I was expecting a nice retirement and Trump and his cronies are making that impossible by possibly stealing our social security that I was told was I would get back for the last 50 yrs. I certainly understand why other countries do not like us…….I do not even talk to my family anymore as I voted for the prosecutor and they voted for the felon.

The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. Presidents and Prime Ministers come and go. Once their 'term is over' they simply 'walk away'. World leaders need to be men or women of integrity and honesty who 'do the right thing'. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. You would never let a child drive a super car on the highway so how much 'damage' has to happen before a world leader is not 'held to account' and his 'hands removed' from the steering wheel before there is a motor accident so large that the freeway is rendered unless and has to be totally shut down your. You cannot have total power in the hands of individuals who apparently do not possess the necessary skills knowledge and experience and wisdom that is required to fulfil the role they were elected to fulfil. A person with the mind and mentality of a child apparently is not a fit person to be running the economy of any nation. May Canada ?? remember its roots and may we all be thankful for true and honest leaders who have integrity and do and say the right thing. Thank you Mr Prime minister. I trust that King Charles III has heard what his Canadian prime minister has said and what he is doing with total integrity.
