I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I mean why would Trump want that at all who knows but he is certainly aligning with Russia just not openly at least that's what a lot of these decisions he has made recently seem to suggest I mean a lot of the consequences of those decisions and acting really seem to benefit someones agenda and to me a politics ignorant seems to be Putin ... i live in Canada and i do not agree with what Justin Trudeau is doing. We SHOULD back down from fighting! This is a war we cannot win.❤ Most people in Canada want Justin out of office. The government here is out of touch with reality, and out of control too.❤ i think Donald is doing a pretty good job. He is putting tariffs on imports because he wants people to buy items that are made in the United States of America. i think that is a good thing for Donald to do for the country of United States: putting America first.❤ The way i see it is that Canada is going to war with both Russia and the United States of America! ???Now the USA is not a reliable country nor a reliable seller, so Trump is destroying his own country. Besides this crazy tax-tariff thing, now the whole world has seen that Trump has removed the military aid to Ukraine... so the whole world has seen that if you buy weapons to the USA or you use them, the USA will extort you or leave you stranded even in dangerous situations. So now NOBODY is going to buy weapons to the USA, and considering that the American economy massively relies on its military industry, this can cause a huge collapse. Other countries and other markets will step up and take the position of the USA in the market and the world, because other countries are reliable, especially those in Europe and Canada, and the USA is not.

Tarriff increment doesn't affect the targeted country, it usually ends up affecting the citizens of the country that imposes the tariff. Americans will experience more inflation as a result of this crazy tarriff increment.

Many of us American people think our president and government are nuts! Can we move to you Canada? My crazy government can have this country with a few million less people!

They have been putting our corporations out of business that compete with them here by giving those Canada companies subsidies so they can sell their materials cheaper than ours. It’s really crazy how people were so happy to pay more money for everything when Biden’s people manipulated us to think it was important to support Ukraine’s war and that was why prices were going up. Now, no one wants to support businesses coming to the US. \nThere are way worse things than prices going up for a few years. We do need to start chipping away at that $36trillion. We are the 1st country to not go belly up with the GDP ratio to debt as high as ours. Economists that aren’t connected to our government and top CEO’s said last year that it didn’t matter who was president, our dollar will reset and our economy will crash. So, somebody has to do something. Trump and his people has to think outside the box to stop it. Especially if interest rates don’t go down, because if we can’t pay the interest and our corporations can’t either, the crash will happen.

As an American, I am appalled by Trump’s actions. I, for one, agree that his reasons for imposing tariffs is a lie. I strongly disagree with his blatant disregard for America’s allies. There is NO justification for aligning the US with Putin. If he thinks Putin has our interests in mind, he is crazy! Before it’s too late, I hope that his cabinet, the house, and senate realize that they can no longer support a president who does not support our interests as a country.
