As an American, I hate this administration and I feared this all coming. I don’t want to be here, and I fought and voted against this in every way I could. I have read many comments expressing support for Canada and assurances that the writers didn't vote for this administration. Until now, something like this could only be seen in totalitarian countries, it was the Russians, Belarusians who explained that they did not support Putin or Lukashenka, that they didn't want to be associated with the actions of their authorities.
