This is a great example of why I hate this whole fake trans rants about women sports, and why I wish people would just say they hate trans people. The argument is a trans woman has an advantage over born/biological females? So if this navy commander can meet the physical requirements, then what's the problem? This is why I hate the disingenuous nature of the trans discussion, using dumb things as talking points instead of just saying what it's about. Just say you hate trans people, the idea of them. I saw the same garbage with gay marriage. Arguing about baking cakes or flowers, when the reality it's just you don't like gay people.

As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, multiple times, I completely agree with the president’s anti-trans policy in the military. Soldiers have a hard enough job as it is much less stacking on some DEI nonsense. That’s only gonna take time away from their training and ultimately DEI is going to 100% negatively affect the mission and their safety. Of personally over a 10 year period served with a couple gay and lesbian Service members and never once was what they did in the privacy of their own bedroom ever an issue or counter to the mission but this new age woke DEI nonsense is completely counterproductive, dangerous, And disrespectful to the non-DEI service members. The simple act of picking an unqualified, military leader, who’s responsible for the care and lives solely on the gender, ethnicity, religion, or pronoun, and not on merit, experience, competency, or any of the other real requirements for a military leader is literally the most irresponsible, dangerous, and disrespectful thing you can do to the men and women who have literally dedicated their life for years in service of our country! There’s absolutely no excuse on this planet that would make it ok. Being a service member in combat is already the most stressful job on the planet, but to make them take their focus off of the immediate threat to focus on political correctness or someone’s magical mystery pronoun while trying to prioritize and mitigate threats and combat is the most asinine and literally dangerous Nonsense I’ve ever heard!??????

I think this transgender issue is terrible and sad. On the other hand I would like to ask this transgender women, why you want to fight or give your life to a country who hates you? This country does not deserves your dedication and sacrifice. I wish you all the luck of the world.

I mean I have mixed feelings about the trans movement. But here is how I feel about this subject and always have. There needs to be one standard. It needs to be the highest standard in the world. and if any man, women, or trans person can't hack it then they do not serve. If they can hold up to the standards they should serve. I am a veteran that serve with a group of people in the Navy that demanded the highest standards. I would serve with man, woman, or trans person that can pull their weight. It is their country. Let them serve if they wish.

I'll add some context to our government. Prime minister harper who was an economics major I believe started saying no to the aboriginal peoples stopped catering to them. During the election it was a collective that all natives would vote ndp and the liberals were second last only behind the green party. Getting closer to the election Trudeau promised if elected to legalize marijuana and fund more efforts towards missing indigenous women ( that's a whole other story in itself). Trudeau won a majority government. They won't admit it but alot of blue collar people voted for Trudeau because of the legalization of weed. Fast forward immigration grew and new immigrants were strategically placed in certain cities and areas to vote for the liberals. The next election Trudeau lost the popular vote but won based on Canada's version of the electoral college. This time around I don't think he can win I've heard very very few people in this country say they want him so in a year things may get better or the damage is done.

I was in the security workforce. It was inundated with permit workers. They all drove new cars, had apple watches, expensive cell plans, and would moan about not getting enough hours. Security companies hire huge forces of them. Security companies can use and abuse them as they feel vulnerable to begin with being in a foreign country. I wouldn't tolerate the treatment and of course was weaned out. Corrupt. Many contracts lost as management just sends anyone to a shift. Half are tiny women with no training and were passed through without the standard 40 hours security licence training but a crash course one day course for the permit workers. Illegal all around.

I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

To be honest 90% people of Canada would say no more Indians. I hear people complaining all the time. Women saying I don’t feel comfortable around Indian men . Honestly indians work hard and most of them are awesome people. However instead of getting 1.5 million Indians canad should have a cap %. Something like 10%. So let’s say 150 K from India. 100k from china. Bring like 200k from Africa, 200k Latin and central america. 150 K from Europe and so on. Diversify the population

I visited both few months ago and man i loved Canada so much i would move there if not for my family and friends, it was so nice even at night you can walk safely and have positive interactions with people, when i was in NY everything was so damn expensive i just wanted to go back to Montreal. It's all about genetics. If you are short, ugly and physically weak (vast majority of Indian men), racism will automatically follow you. Improve your genetics, Indian people. Arranged marriages have destroyed your genetics where a person that looks like a donkey and just as smart can find a partner via an arranged marriage and reproduce their bad genes. In my country, for a man to find a partner, we have to go to the gym, we have to physically look good, learn to defend ourselves, educate ourselves, get high paying jobs etc to find a partner. An Engineering degree won't automatically get us a partner here, we have to look good and fight for the women's love. Ugly, short, weak men who can't defend themselves, they don't get to find a partner and they die off and their weak genes die off with them. Sometimes if they are ugly and weak but super rich they will find a wife but that's a rare case. Indians haven't kept up with world standard genetics of strength, height, looks, physical ability. They have always relied on Maths and Science degrees and overseas high paying jobs to find a partner and be respected. Guess what, my neighbor is 6 foot 2 inches in height, he goes to the gym, works hardand when he walks down the street, everyone respects him and talks nicely to him and he doesn't need an Engineering degree to get that respect. He works in a factory but the world respects him because of good genetics and he can beat you up if you say anything to him. It's his good genetics that get's him respect. I have ugly, short and weak Indian friends and they get racial attacks all the time. I also have good looking, tall and strongly built Indian friends and they don't experience racism. It's all in your genetics. So stop reproducing weak genes and let them die off and in 50 - 70 years, Indian genetics will improve with tall, strong good looking men and women and your desirability overseas will improve meaning you could go anywhere in the world and be respected, you wouldn't have to do Engineering and Math based courses to balance off bad genetics or to get respect etc. You would be able to get service based jobs with little education with good genetics, like Realestate Agent, Management, Customer Service roles, Business roles etc. Not just stuck in a computer lab crunching numbers like most Indian men going overseas do now.

I live in Quebec and love winter, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere like Hawaii or California where I could eat ripe avocados and grow so much food all year round. I could build a tiny home (less regulations - so much red tape here - and cheaper bc less need of insulation and heating) and go swimming every day. This is pretty idealistic though, and could probably do these things in non-american countries. Would I consider moving to the United States? Sure I would consider it. Would I though? Probably not. Why? Similar reasons to many folks in this country:\n- lack of women's rights (still growth to do here too)\n- lgbtqia+ discrimination (here as well, but definitely to a lesser extent)\n- racism (we have this here too though... just maybe less nazis?)\n- guns (this terrifies me... anyone I know who has a gun here has it only for hunting and it's locked up in a gun case, which I think is required, when not in use)\n- healthcare (though I'm not in love with our system... I'm currently on a huge waiting list for an mri, the waiting lists to get a doctor are obscene, and can't access dental or mental health support... some of our hospitals are in such poor shape...)\n- politics and MAGA (terrifying that so many people think like that... though our political parties are pretty fucked up too... just not to the same extent)\n- school systems that teach kids the world is as old as the Bible says\n- police and prison industrial complex (seems less personal and terrifying from the outside)

I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. I hate the bad, but I can see the good despite what our media tells us. However, the system is beginning to collapse, and the average US citizen needs to see it.

I am living in Canada from last 5 years and lived in 3 different provinces ontario, Manitoba and now in Winnipeg. I have plenty of information regarding child health care, women health care, pregnancy issues and housing as I bought house couple of years ago. Well the government and police let Abu hamza spout his vile shite outside Finsbury mosque for years and did nothing about it all the powers the police had has been taken away from them I lived in London in the early eightees I won't even go there for a visit now place is a craphole and councils government's police have let it happen over the years you have these clerics spouting crap nothing to do with there religion and not all Muslims listen to it but we do nothing about it men and women are equal but not in there eyes treat there women like crap they do it in there own countries then come and do it here Britain a Christian country what a joke that is if I could in the next few years I would seriously think about getting out cause its only going to get worse

Essentially, they are finding ways to exploit their entry into the country, unlike my parents who had to wait patiently for years to come to Canada. I belong to an ethnic group. In the 1960s, when my parents immigrated to Canada, only a limited number of people from our ethnic group were allowed in. My parents were compelled to assimilate into Canadian culture to make friends. I had hoped to marry someone from my own ethnic group, but there were few eligible women. Therefore, both my brothers and I married Anglo-Saxon women. While I take pride in my parents' background, I do not live in a segregated community of my own kind. Instead, I reside in a mixed area and have no intention of bringing over 100,000 people from my village back home to Canada. Canada needs to restrict immigration until we get a handle on our housing and social services levels. Also, not all new immigrants should be allowed to move to Toronto or Vancouver. They should be sent to live in provinces such as Saskatchewan or Manitoba for the first 10 years. I am sure they need skilled workers. Also, would be forced to assimilate like my family did back in the 1960s because there would not be a massive enclave from their own culture in one area. Also, the reason my parents moved to Canada was their former country was Balkanized into different ethnic groups that exploded into a massive civil war. Canada might be in danger of that in the future. Certain ethnic groups don't tolerate certain policies that have happened in Canada. When they get to a large enough number all hell will break lose as they will have to culture and political power to fight back.
