Sad times to Canadians

.... Well I'll tell you what Trudeau,.... None of us people wanted these tariffs either... At least not the people who are sane... I don't even think the people who voted for Donald Trump wanted these tariffs against the rest of the world either....I really don't understand the sense behind it because this is not going to make America greater.... It's going to destroy the economy of America and whatever the country it is that he poses these tariffs on... He thinks this is a strategy for getting what he wants... But I'll tell you what, he may be shocked and sadly mistaken when he finds out that it might just backfire ...this is a very conceited attempt to get the type of economic condition that he envisions for his new Dictatorship over America....he has alienated United States from its allies in Europe as well as its allies here at home.... This is probably about as dumb as his treatment of Volodimir Zelensky that just transpired on Friday at the oval office...and that idiot Vance is the one actually that has started that little debacle....I don't know man I thought these guys had more sense than to do this kind of shit.... But see this kind of situation is not going to affect him or his billionaire buddies because they have so much money they can cushion themselves until the cows come home....these assholes don't have nothing to worry about except the American people finding an emergency way of getting his ass out of office unless he changes course on all of this... I don't know if he can be impeached or not... But it might be a smart thing to find out if it IS possible.... AND EVEN IF IT IS WE STILL HAVE HIS SITTING REPLACEMENTS STILL IN OFFICE AS WELL SO I DON'T SEE THIS GOING AWAY WITHIN THE NEXT 4 YEARS UNLESS HE COMES BACK TO HIS SENSES, AND POSSIBLY GOES TO A DOCTOR AND HAVE HIS HEAD CHECKED....\nDTheMadkat123\nFrom a borrowed phone \n....the only thing I really do support that he is doing is securing the border and dealing with immigration issues here.... That's it that's all I was hoping that he would really focus on being in the oval office, and possibly standing by Ukraine, and Israel during these evil days.... Buddying up to Putin is like the single most insane thing that has come from this as well..I just hope and pray that he comes back to his senses and backtracks on all of this shit.... Besides I like Canada House whiskey, and Canada Dry Ginger ale, and other products from Canada.... Stand strong Canadians, I love you all, and I hope we can make it through these tough times ahead...but obviously the road that we're traveling now there really is no guarantees is there ?? Lady can you shut the hell up and go back to what Trudeau is saying ??

So refreshing to hear our well spoken prime minister after hearing that orange turd most of the time in the news! And yet so many here hate Trudeau! Sad sad world we live in.

What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Seeing how corrupt the Democrats has ran America and the defacto behind of all the wars and money laundering has surprised me, and I hope the change with Trump will help everyone realize how screwed we all are in correcting those corruption that isn't really needed.

There's a fine line between genius and insanity, as time goes, sadly it seems Musk/Trump fall to the latter.

Don't get me wrong: This is sick and sad at the same time! Stand strong, Canada! Europe stands with you! Maybe we Europeans are going to import a lot more goods from you now, because Europe already plans to import much less from the... whatever is left over of the USA. But does Trudeau in this speech somehow sound like Dr. Breen in Half-Life 2 on the screens in City 17? ^^

It’s a sad times our government are only worried about themselves . They are able to ruin the country and do all of these because the United states is filled with hatred .The people of the United States somehow think that Our president working closely with our enemy ( Russia ) Is some type of alliance with working towards segregation toward other Americans they feel are less superior to other Americans . Some sort of race war or segregation. How far will we as Americans let this go on without stepping up.\nOr is this what the American really want.\nWill we stand up to this nonsense and hatred?

As an American citizen who has seen through all of Trump's lies, abuses, and racism since the 1980s, I am sadly amazed that so many of my fellow citizens have bought into his transparent disregard for our nation, it's people, and the world at large. Trump has created a rift of division unparalleled in our history. At the same time, the world at large has never seemed more united. Until this dark era passes and my nation returns, I will take strength in being a citizen of the world.

I’m sad to see Trudeau be replaced at a time like this. He’s at his best in a crisis. Say want you want about him, this guy loves his country.

Thank you, Prime Minister Trudeau, for some clarity during these very troubling times. My hope is people in my country, the USA, will finally begin to listen carefully, and think about the ramifications of voting Trump into office again. Sadly, populist demagogues attract attention by suggesting easy answers to very complex problems. Or to put it more simply, by repeatedly lying.

Sadly there never was anything we could do to prevent tariffs. We should retaliate and when they retaliate we retaliate and let this go off the roads. We cannot back down to this idiot President. At same time we should be making neither deals with Europe and close out the arrogant USA corrupt government. Canada first initiatives and less reliant in them. Focus on Mexico and Europe and fuck those pricks.

As a war vet I'm ashamed of the board of billionaires that have sold out our vets and seniors for wealthy tax cuts, shamed our friends in their time of need and propped up dictators while kicking the poor and disenfranchised. I'm 71 and I apologize to Europe, Mexico and Canada, Ukraine and Gaza for the shameful leadership we have sadly been saddled with here stateside!

This is how a leader should speak. He speaks with sincerity and with clarity. He doesnt speak broadly just to an entire audience. He speaks to each group of people that this is concerning to, and making sure we understand the magnitude of this situation. He adjusts how he speak to each group, and also to our sad president. Thats the vibe of the message he was giving me. Many different types of languages and emotions are spoken at the same time.\n\nI love our country, but I do not agree with how our currents presidents policies, changes, and tear down of our government/agencies in just 2 months. I cant imagine the months to come. People are already struggling, and are divided so much more that Americans are not siding with each other, but siding with Canada and Mexico who have been so patient and understanding with us. We need to stand up against our president to stop this isolation and division. We are already divided in our country. I can't stand to see we are starting to be divided globally. This will litterally shrink our economy and our opportunities. Not only that, it puts our national security in peril. We need to do better to work together in harmony.

Nobody in the history of time CAN STOP THE flow of American minds, voices, and history. Americans are world leaders in peace, and prosperity. We all feel for you here in Canada, and it is so sad to see your country being turned into something that it is not.

It hasn’t been fair trading between the two in a while, time for a Canada to cough up some money they have had the fair share for some time now and if Canada thinks they win this trade war they are sadly mistaken. United States calls the shots, they are the power house not Canada so good luck Canadians. Your hate for America will only hurt you.

The world is going crazy, or I should say Trump is going crazy. There is something wrong with Trump. Republicans have to act. I can't imagine how the world will look 4 years from now.\nThe sad part is they would have to impeach both the president and vice president who might be even more dangerous. How to do that? I couldn't agree more I thought I was in Canada lol...this is it because of all the immigrant that got 1000000 placed in nav Canada Cornwall Ontario. Hour dump is already full and they have to drive 40 minutes to bring them somewhere else. Everywhere you look they is one of them. If you also look at the police blog, we'll most of the time it's them so not feeling very safe anymore. I want my country back it is mine to live in and safely so sad
