No jobs and no housing? Why not build more small, affordable homes while expanding your cities? Why not create more jobs? Don't you want to grow and focus less on the USA and Trump? Expelling immigrants who genuinely want to live in Canada shouldn't be your solution to these problems. After all, Canada came into existence thanks to immigrants, right? Reclaiming houses bought by foreigners who don't even reside in your country could be a better approach. Only citizens or permanent residents should have the right to buy or build real estate.

I think the US president is making the US economy worse, taxes and prices in the country will increase, and relations with other countries will not be good. Since taking office, he has only focused on the small number of rich people with a lot of money, while 90% of the population is struggling with prices and taxes, so he has nothing to care about. What did the American people vote for him to do? To make people's lives better, to have more jobs, to make taxes better...etc. He only talks but has not done anything. The words of a rich person like him are not trustworthy.

He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. As an American who lives on the Michigan/Canadian border, this WILL have a serious negative effect on small business. Including my carpentry shop that relies on multiple shipments from Canada per week.

Trumps small, petty ego battles are very costly to the average American and to lives around the world. Trump does not care. He is incapable of empathy. For 2 decades Canadian cities have had a condo building boom (for non-North Americans, a condo(minium) is a building built by developers with the intent of selling off the apartments individually, instead of the whole building being one large rental property - that's a rental building) with the rather strange peculiarity that the bast majority of those condos are small - studios, one bedroom and one bedroom + den (in North American real estate linguo, a den is a small room without a window). There are some two bedroom apartments, and three+ bedroom apartments are very rare. One of the reasons for this is a general mindset that apartments are for singles, young childless couples and retired empty-nesters, while families are supposed to live in a house of their own. Another reason is that some archaic building codes restrict the type of apartments developers can fit in a building. The result of this is that in a country which certainly does not lack space, there are now tons of small apartments (the demand for which has been going down in many areas), but it's too expensive to afford a larger space to buy (whether a house or one of those rare large apartments) once you want to start a family.

I live in a small community in Utah, 165 miles south of Salt Lake City. I can't imagine how the legal immigrants feel there in NYC. Even here, they are being pushed out by the illegals, willing to work for poor wages, and living 30 people to a travel trailer on BLM ground. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. I'm guessing your friend who gave birth for the cost of $3000 had no complications and good insurance, because from what I've read, the cost without insurance is between $30,000 and $50,000 which is insane to me. As for emerg wait times - I live in a small town in rural Alberta & have never had a problem. Recently had to go to emerg. Was triaged, saw Dr., had xrays & was given Rx. I was born and raised in brampton. I am now 41 years old. When i was 20 i remember when the indians started to come into brampton they were taking our jobs because they would work for minium wage without benefits. Then they stated to buy the houses and bring in their families they had like 10 to 20 people living in one house, so only needing to work for minium wage they were able to purchase the houses faster. Then the stores started opening up and theis is when i left. Brampton was the best place in ontario to live (close to everything, small enough to feel like a town but yet big enough that it had everything available) \nNow its a shit hole

We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . When living in the USA in a small college town the scariest part of Halloween was the police in their riot gear for no reason at all. \nCame back to Canada with American husband and we both like it better.\nAlso if I was a Mom in the USA I would be terrified to send my child to school. Germans have small circles of friends that they have known probably their whole lives. Outside of those circles they are generally friendly but superficial. Yes greed. I heard some homeowners are renting their basement? Because of demands for workers (to live) it's OK. In Germany basements are for your old stuffs even If your house is brand new. In Canada, I think, everything is like gold. Even sad and lonely small towns some are renting there. Many are depressed and crazy because of loneliness and cold/ bad weather.
