Why would anyone think Trump cares about ripping families apart? He ripped his first two families apart by cheating on Ivana and then dumped Marla and Tiffany. Ya think that did not rip his own two families apart? \nWhy would anyone think Trump has any intention of deporting people legally? Surely he could find enough armed Proud Boys etc., have them grab people off the streets, shove them on helicopters that could briefly cross the border at night and force the people off at gunpoint. Or load them onto small boats, get close to shore in Baja, and force the people at gunpoint to swim to the beach?\nGetting SCOTUS to deny immigrants/migrants due process should be a cinch with the current group of injustices that granted him immunity for criminal acts.

It was my 1st time visiting Canada early 2000s. We went to Brampton to visit close family friends. Honestly, I thought i was in India.

Close the borders. ZERO refugees, ZERO Indians. Canada should be CLOSED. Would you have your own family and children suffer while you took care of someone elses instead?? It is time to reclaim our country back. Get them the hell outta here. Bring in skilled workers and professionals, whose level of skills and education is on par with ours. These politicians don't have to deal with the filth they're letting int the country, cause they're shielded by their lavish lifestyles and luxury homes, that they too are taking courtesy of the taxpayer. the damage that's been done would require us to either kick out 500k immigrants or close our doors to all immigration (except for those 18 and under in the most dire of situations) for the next 25 to 30 years. We should only be immigrating in those that actually need what we have to offer. Hi Guys,\n\nI did live in Canada for 10 years and I left because of the cost of living.\nI had my own plumbing company and before I left I closed down my business and worked for a plumbing company full time and they paid me $42/h\nAlso my wife was making $32/h\n\nWe made decent money But Trudeau took half of it.\nMy car insurance was $4700 per year, rent for a bungalow just the top floor (3 bed 1 bath) $2400 in Calgary plus utilities plus we had another family renting basement, bungalow like apartment building.\n\nIt’s not worth it, I am a plumber and gas fitter (red seal) well educated individual with 20 plus year experience and my wife is social worker with 20 year experience and we both speak fluent and English. For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. The difference is that you too in the ROC are being drowned. I am a Quebec nationalist, it’s in my guts. My family has roots going back to New France. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. So leave Canada, in fact there are too many of you already. We are not the US, we cannot afford the social chaos of savage predatory capitalism. The problem with all these anti immigration movements is that sometimes they label ALL immigrants the same. Some people go here because their education is wasted in their home country, some people even prepare to avoid the culture shocks, or already have family living there. Filter out the bad ones, don’t close entirely.

Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

We pay, only to find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck while foreigners receive free food, housing, and a luxurious monthly stipend of 1400 dollars - a sum that could be life-changing for many of these families. \n \nIt's disconcerting to note that those who contribute so considerably to the nation's finances are left with little by way of compensation. The government's provision of free education, though commendable, stands in stark contrast to the generous allowances granted to foreigners. Why should our citizens' hard-earned money be spent on others first, only to have their own basic needs ignored? \n \nConsider a mother and father working multiple jobs just to provide for their children - and yet they don't even come close to receiving that 1400 dollars in financial support. Meanwhile, those who haven't contributed nearly as much are given such ample handouts. Is this the system we want in America?

it isn't just in NY or Texas. we are in a south Kansas City suburban apartment in a relatively nice area and we have seen multiple Mexican families going in and out of a couple of different apartments carrying trash bags full of whatever, suitcases, then loitering outside at all hours of the day and night when you wouldn't have normally seen that here. our clubhouse/pool closes at 10PM and everyone that lives here knows and abides by the rules, they do not and they leave trash, glass bottles etc. all over the place and have turned the outside furniture upside down and thrown trash into the pool so they keep closing it down to clean it. i call the police but they don't do anything because its private property. this will escalate to the point where the Citizens are going to have to take a stand.

My main issue with our country allowing so many immigrants into the country is that many of these immigrants from India seem to come to buy businesses up and sponsor their families and friends to live in Canada and work in their businesses which makes it extremely difficult to get basic minimum wage jobs. \nI’ve seen it first hand in my small town, I worked at a Tim Horton’s that was owned by Canadian owners but was sold halfway through my employment to an Indian family and slowly but surely all of the original Canadian workers, including the many young workers (high schoolers) we had employed were pushed out of the business, laid off, given less shifts in favour of giving the Indian employees more shifts. \nI had applied to become manager when my manager quit, I had worked there for a year and instead of promoting me (Because it just would have made sense because I know the job and live very close) An indian man was hired from a city 30 minutes away who’s never worked at a Tim Horton’s and barely spoke English. He was totally sexist to all the young female workers and treated them horribly. He never spoke English on the floor when our staff started to hire more Indian workers. \nIt’s becoming insane.

It's gone and it's never coming back, my family goes back a thousand years in BC on my mom's side, and close to 200 years on my dad's side from England suffice to say you can trust me when I tell you I know what made Canada great, four or five generations of my family were born and raised here, I've made more money than five generations of my family combined, through career growth and a small measure of skill and talent, I can afford notably less than my parents. In 1980 the average income for boomers was 20 grand, a house in the heart of Kitsilano was 50 grand, that house is now worth four and a half million dollars... A toddler could inform you that that isn't a sustainable business model. Suffice to say if I live to a thousand years I will never see a 10,000% return on investment. The older generations have abandoned the younger generations. There was recently a pole done and it showed that Canada ranks eighth for happiness in the world for over 60, and it ranks 65th in the world for under 35... Case closed. When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

Settled really well but since last few years we’ve noticed a lot of crime drugs and Canada became culturally insignificant place to live. Lately Khalistani movement have become more frequent on the streets. The schools are focusing more on LGBTQ and sex education and there is not much other education provided in the schools Finally we decided to move back to India after a lot of discussion with parents and friends and we moved back to India last June. After spending a month in India (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) I feel so secured for my family and kids.\n\nMe and my wife are pharmacists, we have witnessed heath care very closely. we’ve seen a lot of patients died due to not getting heart surgeries on time . Knee replacement has become almost impossible due to a long wait times and patients are badly suffering with pain. Some hospitals had to close down on weekends as no doctors are available, there are no enough beds so patients are being treated on hallways, The wait times in Emergency Departments is so long…\n\nYou should have talked about schools, education policies are not so good till 10th standard they are only focusing on arts, music, drawings, basic maths, sex and LGBTQ. The sex education is compulsory from 5th standard (It was optional before)

Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Its purely logical. \nIf you do not want more Indians, you limit the number of Indians coming to Canada. Its simple. Hating them for who they are doesn't help. I understand these are low skilled low income jobs but when I was a teen these were the jobs we took as part time after school jobs. It helped us save for college, buy a car, pay insurance and gas and have some spending cash aswell as it helped learn to have more responsibility.. Now teens today don’t have that. My friends two teenage kids tried applying to a few different gas stations and resturaunts and they wouldn’t even accept their application. One said he was told “ sorry we only employ family”…. It’s a corporate chain!

We came to Canada 17 years ago, with nothing, we were lucky, a few years later the kids were moving out, we both are self employed (skilled people from Germany) we worked like oxen, still do, we paid off our own house and soon 2 more rentals, we are close to retirement. Canada was extremely difficult at the beginning, they don't accept knowledge from other places, even if it comes from places like Germany. You got to do it the retarded Canadian way, If you're just some poor lad who works in a Hamburger factory you will stay poor for sure. There is no affordable housing, a blue collar job will keep you poor. You gotta be self employed, THATs the only way here. Winter sucks, we will soon spend our winters abroad. Canadian government is run by communist criminals, there are skilled people moving out of here, lots of them. There are druggies roaming the streets where we live, (and everywhere else) if one ever wants to break into my house I am legally not allowed to protect my family, it's a joke. A bitter one.

How about to require new immigrants coming in to satisfy some minimal obligations: they must be literate in English or/and French. They cannot come with a criminal record on the books. They cannot have chronic illnesses requiring lengthy or prolonged hospitalization, at the expense of the country. They must have some sort of vocational background: they must be skilled in a job or a vocation, specifically in cyber technology, financial arena, teaching, industrial experience above the level of manual or piece labor. And they must have some kind of financial backing of their own; money in the bank, relatives already in Canada with whom they might live and share expenses. Canada can rightfully close its doors to any immigrant with a prison record-esp. in violent crimes or theft; to any person coming to its doors with only the shirt on their backs and a large family, and to those who are illiterate in either French or English (or both). Nor should Canada feel itself bound and obligated to admit to its territory, as new citizens, anyone coming from an Asian community bringing with them a culture alien to the religion of its own citizenry.

So you have billions of Canadians locked out of their jobs big shovel taxpayer money and they all just started renovating their homes. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. I have lived in Toronto for over 20 years. I love this city, but I can no longer afford to live here even with a great job and decent salary. When I received a rent increase of 10% for my 1 bedroom apartment on January 1 followed by a 3% annual salary increase shortly after that, the writing was on the wall. That gap is never going to close and things are going downhill fast from here now that I'm at a point where rent eats up more than half of my monthly earnings. The 30% rule is and has been a joke for a very long time. On top of that being mandated back to the office and forced to take the TTC which is a non-stop gong show sealed the deal. I'm leaving. I have decided to move back to Winnipeg to be closer to family, where housing is still affordable and I'll still make a better than living wage. Never thought I would find myself returning to live there, but now I'm actually looking forward to it because the downsides I used to focus on no longer exist when the high possibility of ending up homeless is removed from the equation.

I'll tell you the Indian's secret to how they mass migrated so easy. ( I don't mean this in any sort of negative way. ) This was told to me by a friend I work with who's entire family came to Canada from India. So what his family did and many, many others did was... In India they all pool all there $ to 1 family member, that family member gets his full citizenship to Canada then moves here. Soon as possible he will buy a business, then they start brining family members over 1 by 1 through work visas and they all work on getting there citizenships, they all work together and purchase a house. Once they get that house, one family member stays there and the rest buy another and they all work to pay it off, then just keep repeating until all the family members have there own house. meanwhile they are all still working together at there business and start bringing close friends from India via work visas then it all just repeats over and over.

Welcome to the Communist country of Canada. We have a mentally deranged dictator called Trudeau. Our Prime Minister is a laughing joke among the world leaders. The government of Canada is a joke. The unbelievable lack of any common sense is non-existent. I live in rural Alberta. The hatred for Trudeau is very evident. I was once a proud Canadian. I am now ashamed of what Trudeau has done to this country. He has bankrupted the country which is close to collapsing. He has opened the floodgates to all immigrants mostly Eastern Asians from India and elsewhere. They have brought with them in fighting from their country. There's not enough infrastructure to house or feed these people. The prices of groceries are out of this world. We often see a lack of grocery items in the stores. I have to purchase products online like Amazon. In the province of Alberta, there are no family Drs. to be had. The city of Edmonton has about 6 or 7 Drs. taking new patients. I would not recommend anyone to move to Canada. I would wait until the PC government gets into power and starts to rebuild this country. We need a government that has their feet firmly on the ground.

For context’ sake, for most of my adulthood I have always been poor & I am born with special health needs (E.g. disabilities).
\n\n\nSometimes on forums we are often contrasted to Canada, for some reason. Both Canada and Australia have remarkably similar problems with a different coat of paint. Sydney, for instance, has always been high up in the list of the cities with the highest cost of living in the world. Usually within the top 10-20. 

COVID-19 obviously made this issue clearer in some circumstances because we couldn't 'work' at all. Unless you were an essential service worker, to mentally block out personal and local difficulties.\n\n\nWe still have not recovered from that 2–3 years global shutdown. The only reason I was allowed to work for a period was because I work for the animal industry and aid in animal welfare. 

I still lost my job due to COVID-19 regardless and knew I would never get a decent job again. Merely just the last poor sod on the boat to be thrown off. 

Could not become a vet nurse despite working very hard. Just because no one wants to give me '2-years permanent paid experience’ to be taken seriously. 

At the same time, way too many employers will happily take 2+ years of veterinary students volunteering at their vet clinic. With the vague promise of a permanent job.

Which, of course, never happens, then say we are being too demanding or spoilt for politely asking for said job.\n\n\nHow are we supposed to pay off our student debt if any financial service expects us to have a per meant job to pay anything off??

 No, they do not want to train nor help you. They just want free labour, then kick you out once your time is up. All my jobs have been casual, and my animal industry has already become heavily casual based ages ago. The younger adults and kids all know and have been aware for years, they have no future at all due to having an inflated cost of living. Sugar-coating it, saying it might go in a positive direction, sounds like a blatant lie. There seems to be a more jarring split between the income brackets of what the country assumes who is poor, middle class or rich today.

We are considered 'poor' just because my parents do not earn roughly $50,000 — $150,000 AUD a year on their own in 2023. Question: How do you think working class immigrants afford multi-million dollar homes in places like Vancouver, Toronto, etc? Canadians are so ignorant about our over-generous “pension” system which is actually a welfare system b/c it requires no contributions or true commitment to residency nor a work history. Nor does it force immigrants to report their foreign assets or income unlike actual Canadians whose income and assets are closely monitored by the govt. These families sponsor their extended family members including elderly parents and grandparents while collect “pensions” from the feds and the province. Each elder collects approx $2,000/month from the feds while continuing to live in their home country. Think about it. A couple with 4 sponsored parents receives approx $8,000 per month which is paid out of general tax revenues collected from working Canadians who can’t afford rent let alone a down payment or mortgage. Canadian taxpayers buy million dollar homes for immigrants while they themselves can barely afford food.

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

We need to close the borders immediately and start giving serious tax breaks to old-stock Canadians in order to encourage them to have more children. This should have been done 50 years ago already. By old stock, I mean people who's families have been here since the 1910s. Then we'd keep Canada Canadian! That's not bigotted, that's patriotic! ??

In the old country people are generally less polite but true friendships are made of rock. In the west people have a lot of polite acquaintances but very few close friends. Most family folks here have no time for new friends between their jobs which is how they eat and their families which depend on them.

I am an immigrant, close to become a Canadian citizen. I chose Canada to live with my family and I love this country. \nThat said, I could not agree more with what was said. Things are completely out of control. We can't bring that many people and have no infrastructure to support them. Housing, health care, everything is in a crisis because of Trudeau. If I get my citizenship before the next elections, I will help voting him out!

It's a double edged sword. The industry (fast food, food retailing, services) WANT those people, be it international students, refugees or other to work because there is insufficient response from the local population of young people. Even certain restaurants and hotels had to remain CLOSED after the pandemic, because they could not find enough people to work. The government covid money dissuaded the local population from working. It is a huge mistake to admit so many Indian students attending low-credentialed private colleges and then allow them to work 20-30 hours a week. Trudeau and Miller are to blame for this. But at the same time, there was a labour shortage due to the ageging population and the fact that people have fewer kids today. Canada should give greater priority to trained professionals in areas where there is a need, such as construction, education and nursing. People in India, China, eastern Europe and other countries can get very good training in technical colleges, but it is the wealthy families in these countries that don't want their kids working these jobs.

I don’t agree fully but he does have a point , if the surrounding nations are responsible to take in Palestinians in this situation all of Gaza is refugees so you would be excepting Israel’s terms of ethnic cleansing illegal settlements and forced diaspora but at the same time if families are running for there lives how can you close the boarders on them ? That’s too extreme you have to be able to adjust to the situation while still supporting a free Palestine …

Singapore is a much more congested place. Real estate prices are on the higher end.\nCanada is a very cold place but in certain states, Canada gives free land to settle immigrants. Plus, as you stay in close proximity of the US with similar timezones. So you can find jobs in American companies. Singapore is from a different timezone and there is very little overlap between California PST and Singapore SGT. \nAs the global warming takes effect, Singapore will sink, while Canada becomes warmer, more natural resources are unlocked in Canada. Not to mention, Singapore is sorrounded by Islamic nations, and there is high probability of terrorism happening in near future as radicalization increases in that region. War is already happening in Burma between Junta and ARSA. And when civil war happens, so happens the in-flux of illegal arms and ammunition. Canada is far far away from these warzones.\nMost people should prefer Canada over Singapore, unless you have any specific ties to South East Asia, like you love the Asian food or you need to stay in close proximity of your family and friends.

Seems Islam is too cerimonialistic/ritualist and require a lot of structure for praticing. Clean, specific places? Headspeakers for scheduled daily prayers? \nI'm glad the Creator I believe is omniscient and I can pray to Him anywhere, anytime, at worst requiring me a quiet place and to close my eyes. I'm a muslim female doctor from South Africa. Strongly considered moving to Canada, even wrote their exams, and we were very close to moving with our family before we changed our mind due to an unanticipated set of circumstances. The exact concerns you have voiced really concerned us also. Your video has affirmed exactly what we thought. So relieved to be able to practice my faith freely, and especially to still be living in a currently that has not sold its soul to the z10nists! Alhamdulillah.

I came to Canada in Jan 2022 on permanent residence from India and returned back to India in November 2023. My reason to move to Canada was, I moved back to India for personal reasons after living in USA for 10 years (studies + work). I moved to Canada because I missed US, and thought it was difficult to adjust in India, and US would never give me green card anyway (due to country of birth quota). I moved to Canada with a job in hand, but opportunties are limited here. On top salaries are low, even compared to India. Healthcare is a disaster. In US, I could see a doctor next day. I had 4 surgeries done in US, multiple CT scans and countless X-rays. Never had an issue. In Canada, despite paying high taxes I fear of not able to get medical treatment and wait for months to see specialist. \nSlowly I realized, this country is not USA anyway and was naive of me to think of it as a viable replacement. I ended up returning back to India, as in end I realized India has issues, Canada has different ones but in India at least I can earn well (70 to 80K CAD while 2 BHK costs me like 500 CAD per month, 300,000 CAD for luxurious 3.5 BHK) and I can be close to my parents, the reason for which I left US. I will always miss US though. As long as I have family in India, I will never think of settling anywhere else. But the only country I would ever consider in future is USA.

I want to give a different perspective. I'm from Singapore. My entire family was here and they have moved back. My sister moved back first because my British brother in law could not take the cold. My brother moved back because he wanted to make money and be rich. My parents moved back to be close to their grandkids. But no way will I move back. Constant heat strokes from the weather, materialistic and shallow people, preference given to married people and families, lack of hinterland and nature, lack of winter sports, and poor LGBTQ+ rights. I have not lived in Singapore since I was 18 and I am also childfree, with no intention of raising a family, only travel locally, and am not into the acquisition of commercial goods for gratification. I love going on roadtrips and skiing every winter and playing hockey year round. I like that I can marry who I love here and can acquire a home without needing to be married. I understand how people who want to make money and raise families would see the brighter side of other countries, but Canada, despite its flaws, is my brighter side.

People are leaving Canada because of taxes and very rude and racist society. Also opportunities such as higher pay jobs are only given to family and close friends. Hard working and smarter individuals don't get nothing in return for their efforts and contributions
