If my country doesn't get housing costs under control they're in serious trouble. The average house in the town I live in is something like 900K and there's basically no local economy. With costs so high I can't afford to start a family. If we keep gaining old folks needing healthcare while keeping housing expenses high and wages low taxes will have to keep going up.\n\nI am not going to continue to pay huge portions of my income for the benefit of the elderly while I can't afford a decent lifestyle. I don't want to but it seems moving to the US or elsewhere is the only option if things continue this way. At list point the local governments are so invested in denying housing permits and abusing zoning laws to prevent housing being built that the only way to fix it would be to strip the provinces and cities of the right to decide their own zoning bylaws. \n\nI want to see a change in the constitution that makes zoning bylaws illegal. There are too many people thinking of their self interest and not of the Nations interest. We deserve to lose the right to decide what can be built in our neighborhoods. We have been abusing this right for too long

These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I used to think Pres. Trump was being too hard on Canada then I got a look at the tariffs they impose on our goods. Some as high as 250%. I think Trump just wants a level playing field and a lot of help from Canada on the border. I think Poilievre feels the need to talk tough in response but I think he really wants the same things as Trump. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! I think that’s comparable to cost of living in Australia. So people with a high paying job and skills are necessary to have a good stress free life. If you are struggling to get a good job it’s going to be tough. Especially if you live far away and need to spend on fuel and rent or the cost of buying a house. In today's rate Canadian finished product (With heavy refine + high transportation cost) in USA is 73USD per barrel as compared to WTI (with lower refine cost + lower transportation cost) is 82 USD. At 2024 exports levels you saved 14.1 Billion dollars per year + all refinery jobs and reason for it is the heavy discount we gave to you on crude oil. Facts tells me you are the free loader. Yeah we are small and gonna be in bad shape But this does not ends well for you too either.

Canada should think about selling its oil to South Korea instead of the US. South Korea is the 4th largest buyer of oil in the world & 80% of it is shipped from the Middle East region with much higher price than what Canada charges the US. Even if Canada charges South Korea with the same high price the Middle East nations charge, South Korea will end up saving money because the shipping distance from Canada is much closer than the Middle East region. It's a win-win case for both Canada & South Korea.

Indian should investigate why are visas denied. I think the most common reason for visa rejection is high rate of overstays committed by visitors coming from the affected countries

I’ve been to North Korea actually by accident and they live like 100 years ago, in deluded made up world far from reality. Look at Cuba. I think that all this dopertations will have high prices for trying to fix a problem that will never end, they will return again, the entire cost of these operations to deport migrants will affect our economy, we will pay more for food and labor.

most of the people who got abroad, are children of Govt. Employees, means no pressure to do hard work bcz their back is always secure with parent's high pensions, means.. most of these people are manner less who thinks they are above the law and see people with no govt. background below them and they show off this behavior wherever they go..

Visa rejection rate has always been high, the interview process is highly arbitrary. There is no logic to the rejection, it's dependent on on perception of the person interviewing and therefore can be highly biased. It's not right to assume and generalize that Indians are a nation of people where most have bad behaviour - this thought process is itself wrong. As an individual do any of us think that we travel just to indulge in reckless behavior? That is never a first thought - let's not generalize and have a better opinion of fellow citizens. We will be respected by outsiders if we first have respect and a positive opinion as regards each other.

Please stop criticizing every ranking, every index. Look at the amount of Indian illegal immigrants almost everywhere. UK reported 1lac of them in 2024. Why do you think any country wants this!! Forgot to mention in this video, how so many Indians are likely to abuse travel visa with the intention of permanently staying in the country they are traveling to under the guise of a tourist. Oh, so many of them creates nuisance here by not behaving properly in public. I think high visa rejection rate is pretty good to weed out bad actors.

I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.
