The reason North Americans and Western Europeans can travel the world freely is because after our studies, temporary work or vacation, we go back to our home country. If your home country has a high likelihood of someone using a temporary visa to permanently stay in another country, then of course the Visa rejection rate will be high. No matter if it's India, Vietnam, Nigeria, etc. If the likelihood of you going back home is low then your visa rejection rate will be high.

Stop blaming other countries… we need to find our own mistakes… then we have at least little hope to change our mindset….we have habit of blaming others for our own mistakes..if you are not fitting in the rule- regulations of visa process of- course it will get rejected… most people have fake paper work for visas. \n\nSimple example… if someone enter illegally in our country we will call them terrorist … some countries put them in jail according to illegal act… I appreciate that they are sending them back to their own country… actually we should thank them for saving these people future.\n\nMaharashtra took a step earlier when they send UP citizens out of Maharashtra… in their own country they cannot go to other state.. how you think other countries should let them enter illegally n not take any action… I think we should think before saying anything.\n\nIllegally enter people don’t pay tax… indirectly they put so much pressure on health n other systems…we the tax payer bear that cost.. is that fare ? \n\nThey don’t follow rules of country… they behave similar how they behave in India … they don’t follow health- hygiene , equality rules.\n\nOur country more diverse but no equality… still people get priority based on reach- poor or on caste basis.\n\nIn other country any Indian do something exceptional then we say they are Indian… but no one think that they got that opportunity to prove themself because they were in other country… in our country people doesn’t get opportunity based on their calibre… \n\nWe have habit that we go abroad… earn money… get ideas of business n going back to India we say that’s our own idea… no appreciation at all… so many new businesses has got ideas from other developed countries but no courtesy to appreciate others or thank them.\n\nEven our news channels… everything is happening first time in the world… even it happens so many year earlier in other countries….some people they really don’t know n they believe that…. It’s just playing with people emotions… not providing real information… we all are human beings… we need to appreciate each other… \n\nThese countries have some rules n regulations for human beings to develop equality n equal opportunities. Most of the NRI appreciate that as we haven’t got that in our own country.

They were in the U.S.A illegally, which is a crime. What if someone moved into your house without permission? Would you want them in your house? You numb nut, Shashi Tharoor is always gloating about how great India is. If India is so great, why do you lot Indians go to the U.S.A? I am an Indian who lives in India. Those Indians who were trying to sneak into US borders, were criminals. I can understand and sympathize when someone is fleeing poverty and war zones but these Indians were well-off and lived comfortable lives in India. These Indians were greedy. They wanted more easy money. For their greed, they crossed international borders illegally. They are no different than any other international criminals. They deserved to be handcuffed and deported from USA.

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

There are too many Indians everywhere you go in the world, too many still trying to get out of India. Working in Canada at a fast food restaurant gives someone from India (Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow....) a better standard of living than a middle class living in India. States like UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan... still living in 18th century. Gujjus were the first to got out and then Punjabis and then everyone, they damaged the reputation of Indians a lot.

I have been living in canada my whole life and worked my ass off to get into a really prestigious university program. Everyone I knew is looking to leave Canada, and mind you these are all HIGHLY skilled stem grads. I am included in that as well, I love Canada, but I am also an Indian, nobody sees the difference between me(someone who has been raised here) and someone fresh from India with no lack for the culture. (unless they hear my accent) I don't think staying is worth it. Probably looking to head to the states.

As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. One of the things is that Indians refuse Canadians job positions because they are not Indian. How can u Indians refuse someone a job in their own country? And another thing. Changing Canadian culture just like he said. . Canada has a right to their own culture. U people cannot do that. U live in Canada not India. India has its own culture as well . Sadly to say u Indians brought the racism upon ourselves.

Canadian tradtion have always to believe what the person telling in everyday life. we did not believe that someone is lieing. I know in 70's when you apply for a job. you were never asked to bring certifictes to prove you are not telling the truth, you were simply believed that you are telling the truth. If they want to enter india, ask them to fill a form to respect the sovereignty and law of india. If someone wants to fight for separation do it from inside. Someone should let them know that so called better life is not waiting for them in Canada at least. We have plenty of our own political tensions, we're taxed to death, probably have the worst health care system in the world, extremely high cost of living, everything is expensive, the only jobs available are part time, crappy overpriced food, a housing crisis and brutal winters every single year.. Nothing but pissed off, miserable people here. Many Canadians I know have moved to India and love it. Come if you like but I bet you'll wish you hadn't, especially when Trudeau won't let you go back, not with your money anyway.

No, it's the Canadian colleges and economy that is affected, they will lose around 3 billion dollars per year because of this move. Infact, they were already having low application rates due to the diplomatic Fiasco between india and Canada, so they probably doing it to save face(basically, rejecting someone before they have a chance to reject you, lol) and also appease the coservatives, elections are on the way after all and Trudeau wants to win at any cost. just deceived by a new Indian immigrant, and it feels terrible. About 10 days ago, I posted an advertisement for a parking spot rental in front of my apartment condo. I then received a call from someone who said he had just moved here from India and needed a parking spot. I explained that parking spots here are rented on a monthly basis. He said that was fine, but he wanted to first pay only for the days from October 24 to October 31, and then he would pay for the following month. I thought that was acceptable, so I agreed.However, on October 31, he didn’t make the payment as expected. When I asked, he said he would pay on November 1. The next day, when I hadn’t received the payment, I followed up, and he promised to pay the following morning. By noon on November 2, I still hadn’t received the payment, so I messaged him again, but he didn’t respond. It was only later in the evening when he finally replied, saying he no longer needed the parking spot and that I could rent it to someone else. Then i asked how to deal with the rest of the payment of these days for the parking he already used, no reply anymore. At that moment, I really felt deceived. Why so much like getting smart with others?

India has too many people and not enough land to dedicate a homeland to Sikhs.
