I hate that trump can just fuck everything up for americans. I didn't want any of this. I didn't vote for trump. I didn't vote for a trade war. Damn what a shit system

Unfortunately, our government (republicans) at the moment don’t care about us. They taking away from our children’s education , (seniors) money for food and health care. They don’t care we die just as long as they give a tax cut to the rice. I really pray that the he changes his mind. However, I don’t really see it. He’s very crazy guy. As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. People are just searching for a better life that's all, the most basic thing humans have in common, change the red tape a make things more structured and rid your country of the bad apples and welcome those willing to work, build and serve God and the country. May God help us all the beginning of Sorrows has begun ?.

Trump and Musk are weakening America. Trump, Vance and Musk are working to make all our allies our enemies to help Putin and N. Korea be able to take over America, then Trump thinks they'll let him be our King. He's so stupid. Putin and N. Korea are crazy but they will not let Trump be King. They want America for themselves. Wake up America! Trump is selling out America! He's trying to put us into WW III, and make sure we do not have any allies, and if you don't see the writing on the wall, y'all need to go back to school. Pay attention to history. I’m a 53 year old Canadian. I went to college on an athletic scholarship & lived there for 10 years after turned professional in my sport. Why, why, why - with all the problems going on in the world right now to tackle - why would you want to start a trade war with your closest trading partner & most loyal ally? Not to mention that your list of Allies is shrinking daily. This is not going to end well for either of us. \nI just arrived home from a trip to the grocery store - making sure nothing in my cart said “ made in the USA” on it due to the new tariffs that began today. \nThe irony is, many of the states where Trump won by the biggest margin, are the states that are going to get hit the hardest from Canadian retaliation tariffs ( Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Indiana, the Dakotas - just to name a few). A lot of farmers in those states are going to be hit extremely hard with the fertilizer tax. After Canada, the next 3 largest Potash producers are Russia, Belarus & China. So , good luck \nWhen the cost of fruit & vegetables skyrocket across the US. Maybe you’ll put a little more thought into your vote 4 years from now.

Most Americans do not want to support Canada with our tax dollars. We have had a huge trade deficit with them for decades and we are the only military they have outside of a bad joke with no punchline. Canada needs to support itself militarily and financially.

I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening.
