I opened a business in Canada with a partner in 1974. By 1985, in spite of having a successful business, I moved to the US in 1985, and have never looked back. Canada was moving in a direction in the 80’s, that I could see was no longer a fit for me. I never believed that Canada would sink as low as it has, but I have to admit, compared to the US, it was becoming far too regulated, and far too Liberal for my liking.\nThe open immigration policy for me, was a complete deal breaker, and its current shift to being a Muslim, East Indian, Chinese, and African country, would not have worked for me, as a Canadian Protestant of English, Irish, and French descent. I know for a fact that the Chinese are extensively involved in the current synthetic drug crisis, and although there are many law abiding Chinese in Canada, they serve to camouflage the Chinese underworld that exists in Canada, as they do in Mexico, that allows them to pipeline these drugs to Canada, which is being destroyed by this crisis. All said, Canada is becoming a crime ridden, drug infested Muslim shithole, where Canadians can look forward to sharing this demise with their Chinese, and East Indian neighbours.

I thought for a second that one of you finally got it but NO ! America is a continent, not a country, stop calling United Statiens, Americans ! The name of your country is the United States, making it's citizens United Statiens. US of A is short for The United States of the continent of America. Don't take my word for it, listen to the US government. Look at a US passport. On the cover it says US passport, not American passport. Inside it says that the barer of the passport is a US citizen, not an American citizen. United Statiens calling themselves Americans is an insult to all the other countries on the Continent. One last thing, yes, the fact that the US is on the continent makes United Statiens, Americans but that being said, it also makes every Mexican, an American. So why is Murika trying to Keep Americans out of America !? And don't get me started on the stupid term that Murika created so they could keep being racist and that is African American, Again, like America, Africa is a continent with many countries on it and I refuse to use a stupid term invented by racists. I am white and you two are black.

I agree about integration. And it’s not just about Indians. For example, here in Calgary almost all barbershops are run by East Africans. Whenever I try to explain something in plain English, they have a hard time understanding me. Or when they try to start a small talk but when I answer their question, they have no idea what I said. It gets super frustrating when people just can’t understand you due to their poor language skills. Am I the only immigrant who learned the language at a high enough level to function in the society BEFORE I came to the country? It’s not like there’s a war in India so they have no time to learn English before coming here.

Listen, I'm no Muslima and I'm African so I'm stuck between poverty & misery! But if I ever had a place like Abu Dhabi where everybody was just remotely black, or Qatar or Dubai or Saudi (Maghreb, Yemen, Jourdan)? Why oh Why would I ever live in a place like Canada? What? LEAVE NOW! ? Leave and move somewhere with a call to prayer (if that's what you need, that would drive me insane! But like I said I'm not Muslima ?). But yes, I support this, not to mention teachers trying to engay your children at school... They will then accuse you of indoctrinating them with your Muslimery when they're Your children! My God, go! Please go, and take us along with you!

I am a muslima, divorced and african. After 20 years abroad i started building my home this year so i can move back to my muslim country. Just like you said, i want to be in a muslim society and be reminded of the deen daily. Insha'Allah may Allah make it easy for all of us

Ummmmm I don’t think some Palestinian anyone for that matter want to stay in a conflict justified or unjustified. The Arab nation should first give an open door policy for a temporary shelter or refugee like the Europeans or America did for Ukraine. This notion that Palestinians don’t want to leave for a temporary refugee is very questionable. Just open your country and see if they will not go!!! Anyone is a free country should choice to evacuate to a safer country like Saudi, UAE, Bahrain or other golf countries. Instead of giving them aid or other form of support, give them a sanctuary and if they decide not to go back, then give them other options. Palestinians should not be dictated to stay in a conflict zone special the women and children. Even African countries rich or poor, open their doors to their neighbors during war like it happen in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Uganda and you can count many!!! Recently in Ukraine, Germany, Poland and other Ukraine neighbors, received millions of Ukrainians and never have they said Ohhhhh Ukraine love their land and they want to stay in Ukraine or they will lose their land when they left!!!!! It’s about time Arab nations to give Palestinians refugee without any preconditions. That’s obvious

He lost me when he said (their land). Have he not heard about the ottomans taking the land from the Africans. Any agreement about that land that doesn't include the Africans will not be a fair agreement. The Palestinians or the Israelis need not leave, they just need to find a solution that includes the Africans then they all can live in peace and harmony.

Your opinion is quite skewed and not entirely factual. I am a sneaker head myself and bought all my sneakers on the soil. I have never struggled to find work or integrate into society. \nI have friends who studied in Zimbabwe and said same that your country folks are not welcoming to other Africans.\n\nI do understand it’s your experience but it’s skewed and not factual and doesn’t represent the entire nation

This gentleman is smart, articulate with his analysis of the situation. \nI echo his comments. If I am doing well in my country I wouldn’t leave— especially Africans and the African Diaspora. I see the horrific atrocities committed against the Africans crossing these borders to get into Europe. It is sad to the point where I said before I leave my country I would rather eat from my land than to come and be dehumanized.

Well said and 100% on point. As an African in management or supervisory roles, expect to work 3x more to be recognized or seen as competent. It's like they doubt and under rate your abilities

If you can't be grateful for all the great general achievements of whites in Africa, at least stop stealing our Heroes, Fictional favourites and Royals to copy on screen and elsewhere. Wow… After listening to these Nigerians speak, you realize why Africa hasn’t reached prosperity. The African mentality is to flee from problems instead of finding solutions. 100% of these Nigerians said they won’t go back to Nigeria. While over 50% of Indians went back starting the 80’s and 2000’s and fixed India. This African mindset is what got us enslaved by Europeans for over 300 years. Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Ironically its non-white Canadians i had funny experiences with.... from dating to renting its weird\n\n\nAsians under 27 always asking some crazy questions ( Are you an NBA player ) lol it's cute at first but after a while when little koreans walk up to me talking about ( You look like will smith ) it makes you think... To be fair these are not inherent negatives, But asian canadians alone did treat me weird i found, Indian girls i met all wanted to be with me but where also very ashamed to say so or let their family know, but thats a cultural thing so i understood.\n\n\n Of all the demographics White canadian and native men where the most welcoming and open to me, in my experience.. White women of-course where cool too but that does not really count, especially as a good looking black guy with an accent LOOL you know how that goes!! My Tinder and Bumble were obscene LMAO\n\nRenting from asians while black and Male!? is almost impossible!!! Except they think you have rich parents!! Its impossible in Van unless you are an Arab exchange student lol \nArab and Persian students studying english have no issues renting in Vancouver, for some reason!!\n\nI lived out the St. Regis downtown for a month, Looking for places to rent, i had seen so many places online and filled out applications but never got call backs, asides from 2 group showings i went to, i could not even set up a viewing with the apartment building i wanted... \n\nTill i met an african girl in school, and she told me something i found completely crazy.\nShe told me to make a new e-mail addy and to use my English name when i e-mail, then set up a viewing but to show up with a white friend preferably a girl and that if the owner is asian, i should look around, and offer to pay 6months upfront before they get a chance to ask what i did for work or whether i was a student or not LOL. Needless to say, i did what she said and It worked the asian lady asked me to come get the keys later that day. Its just life, as a property owner they really just wanna size you up, not fair and kind of pathetic but its not inherently evil...

growing up in canada, i felt left out in the blk community b/c i am a 5th generation blk cdn on mom's side and 3rd on my dad's - when other black ppl not canadian born met me - i tell them i'm cdn, but i always used to get the question - where are you really from - they were looking for me to say the islands - when i told them my paternal grandma was born in 1901 in canada - that's when the questions stopped. i've been told that b/c i wasn't from the islands, i had no culture in college, but a mbr of the black student society put him in his place i heard he got into a lot of trouble. i was asked what do we eat as in food as canadians what kind of music do we listen to - at our blk canadian weddings, the only carribean song played was hot hot hot by arrow - we played straight up r and b and motown. i hv been rejected by other blk men b/c i'm not west indian enough...it was hurtful. even with 'friends' they made of my cdn heritage but i used to think, why are you making fun of me knowing that my family and ancestors were in canada first - they were 1st generation - i live in the usa now and i'm with an african american man - he has never treated me as if i were different and he loves going w/me to canada. my parents told me it was jealousy on those ppl's parts - one guy i used to be friends with in college, when i went to his house, his mom was from the islands, when she met me - she said, 'you cdn ppl are loud' and that did it for me - i didn't date her son but when he met my parents, they never said any of that crap to him. in the usa, the african americans don't treat differently at all - my ex mom in law thought we were american but decided to live in canada - b/c she was surprised that blacks do live in canada. her other daughter in law's family were from the islands - but she gravitated more to my family and felt comfortable around them more than her family and this ex sis in law would brag about the islands this and that and she would make comments about my looks being skinny and such but it was jealousy - i didn't care much for her b/c she was very insecure. i felt once again, i was a young girl in college again - being around island ppl....i would love to meet drake and ask him did he feel left out and isolated because he wasn't from the islands - he makes me very proud being a blk canadian - his dad is african american and his mom is jewish. i still hv dealt w/racism not much with wht ppl, but with my own ppl - which is quite sad and on top of it-colorism, that also played a part from my family - being called pygmy, chocolate dip, nappy hair - it hurt but these so called relatives, they aren't all that anymore, they had hard lives as children...when ppl see something in you that is special and they don't have, that's when their ugliness shows -
